Amongst the Elves

Elindar quickly made his way back to his home where Darlena and his sister was asleep. He pushed past the sentries at the door and went straight to his room. Darlena hadn't been asleep too long but had messed up his bed in her slumber. Elinadr gently placed the pendent on her and she slowly turned into an elf. She started to wake up and before a she could light a candle Elindar had made her lay back down.

" Whats this you put on me?" She said pulling at the pendant

" " You will see in the morning my lady."

I wondered why he made me lay back down and what is this on my neck it feel so strange and yet warmth is comming from it.

Elindar remover her hand from the pendant and soon they was caught up in passion for eachother. As morning came Tonalay did as she would normal do until she saw Darlena's sword propped against the corner and remebered about the guest they had. She opened up Elindar's door and looked in and shock too over.

" You are completely hopeless brother if mother was still alive she would agree that you have lost control. How dare you do this to Darlena she hasn't been gone a day and you have some other woman in your bed."

Both Darlena and Elindar woke up from the yelling and as soon as he realized what was going on he put his hand to his head and started to chuckle. Darlena had no clue why or who Tonalay was talking about as she rushed to cover herself.

" Sister ...... that is Darlena. She looks like anyone of us now, for the day."

Darlena had a puzzled look on her face them it became clear when she saw herself in the mirror, as an elf. Tonalay had crawled up to her on the bed and looked her right in the eyes.

" Your eyes shine a pretty emerald color m'lady. I can't wait to show you around."

" I'm sorry sister but she is with me today, and can you leave us to get decent and maybe some clothes for Darlena to wear."

Elindar softly draped a velor robe around Darlena. if only they could get past their prejudice and accept her and her beauty in it's natural form.

Darlena looked back at Elindar and kissed his cheek. She tightened the robe a bit and went to Tonalay's room. Nikkii's night in the lodge was not as peaceful as Darlena's went. Aside from the gaurd constantly checking in on her and the govenor chatting with her most of the night she really didn't sleep very much. Which was the govenors plan to keep her unrested so she was less likely to try anything against the two. Nikkii had finally had enough of her watcher and decied to do something about him.

" Aren't you tired of standing there?" Nikkii said sticking her chest out. " Or have you found something that you like......"


The guard looked over to the dark priestess and looked a bit uncomfortable at what he was looking at. Nikkii noticed that he was falling into lut for her and she continued to press that angle.

" I take you like what you see ..... I bet you never seen a teir'dal woman so close before.... what do you think?" Nikkii pulled her ponytail down and fluffed out her hair, then loked to the gaurd and winked. Flustered by this the gaurd left the room in a hurry and dropped the door keys.

" heh no matter what men of any race are the same..." Nikkii picked up the keys and departed the room now walking free in the city.

Darlena returned to Elindar's room wear the clothes that Tonalay had given her. He hugged her and lead her out of the house and into the village. Darlena was scared at first being around so many that would surely would kill her at a moments notice. They sat on the edge of the platform and talked even as other Dal women passed and scoffed a Darlena it didn't bother them. Nikkii couldn't wait to get down from the tree village and stood under a tree next to the coachmaster. Things made a turn for the worst when Tonalay came up to Nikkii and Nikkii came up with and evil idea.

" Are you here for miss Darlena?"

" Yes ..... but that is at the conclusion of this day... what is your name child?"

" Tonalay.... Tonalay Starsong."

" Interesting... it would appear that your family doesn't value you as much as your brother..... why is that?"

" Why would you say such things?"

" Its odd that your own brother keeps you at a distance even oner the years this is the first time you met my child.... he doesn't trust you."

Nikkii continued to twist the thoughts of Tonalay as the day went on. Dalena and Elindar had stolled the entire city, enjoying eachother's company. As all things though the day was nearly over, and that was when Elindar had noticed Nikkii and Tonalay talking. Darlena frown when she saw this as well and went to confront her mother.

"Why are you here ..... can't you leave me alone.."

Nikkii turned to face Darlena and scoffed at the sight of her in elven form, she approacherd her and took her by the arm. Darlena looked back unflinching.

" No more...... no more bullying me into doing as you say.. you will treat me as your child... not a servant... mother."

" Then attend to your duties in Neriak... instead of indulging your lusts here with this stupid elf man.... We are leaving."

Suddenly the familar blue light surrounded the two woman and in an instance the dissapeared. Elindar tried to grab Darlena from Nikkii but met with nothing as he lunged forward. The two teir'dal women was back at the church steps. Darlena's hand formed into a claw as she took a swing at Nikkii. Nikkii barely avoided the slash but still caught a piece of her robe.

" Why did you do that.... Why do you have to be like that."

Nikkii looked at her robe in total displeasure. She chanted a few spells and took a fighting stance against Darlena, then Olantar stood between them.

" M'Ladies we have a situation here...... Madam Lilyth played her hand when you left."

[Elindar]

Bewildered Elindar fell to his knees, looking towards the sky, and tears welling in his eyes.

"DARLENA!!!"

His head fell as tears welled in his eyes and streamed down his cheeks. Tonalay moved in closer, not used to seeing such weakness in her brother. She knelt beside him draping her left arm over his shoulder and pulling him close.

"she will be alright, brother....she will be alright."
