" Well I did take this stone from the enchanters hall, it will give me the form of an elf for three days so long as I hold it tightly. I'll try this stone first and if he is willing to hear me out then then I could be at peace about this."

well that will work but until we know for sure what is going on you can save those, nothing will bother us until we get close to fayspire.
once we get to fayspire, i will go looking for elindar, we will need to find a spot for you to stay. i know you say you have the stone but lets use that as a last resort.

" Very well... I think I will lay down here. Why don't you tell me about where you have been. "
Darlena leaned up against her bag and fell asleep before Wilkens spoke.

The night went by without insident, Wilkens stayed awake quite awhile listening to the sound of the night before drifting off. When morning came Darlena had made herself ready and awaited Wilkens to wake up.... today she would speak with Elindar and clear up this mess.

" oh dear, i am sorry, i should have been up by now. are you ready for us to head to fayspire?

Darlena smiled at the thought of seeing Elindar today. She quickly put her pack over her shoulder.

The two women made their way around the the city of Klick anon. Hours past as they made small talk. They stayed along the coastline till a small orc village was visable and a cave behind it. Fayspires wasn't far now.
" Wilkens I will stay here and have some fun clearing the land of the orcs here and make this my camp. Will you find Elindar and tell him to find me here? If he is unwilling to come I will use this stone then." Darlena drew out one of her zwiehanders and started slaying orc after orc.

“Sir!” a voice boomed into Nobel’s still tender head. “Sir, come she wakin’! The little one wakin’!”
The mage opened one eye just a slit, taking in her surroundings. She was in a small house, lying blanketed upon a bed. It was fairly early in the morning, judging by the soft light outside. Her gaze moved over to the doorway, where an irritating human male stood and waited for his comrades.
The gnome shut her eyes once more and frowned. Why was it that humans always judged others in terms of their appearance? How she missed gnomish society, where one’s value was measured in terms of great experiments and advancements in knowledge! Her frown deepened as she realized that it would be a long while until she could spend time with a large group of her kin.
She tried to move then, slowly propping herself up on her elbows. A terrible pain lanced through her shoulder and she lay down, breathing hard. Her movements pulled the young man away from his vigil at the door and back to her side. He placed a cloth in a basin of river water that stood next to the bed, wringing it out and draping it across Nobel’s forehead. The gnome was somewhat unnerved as she noticed how quickly the damp cloth warmed to her skin. She was quite feverish.
“There there,” soothed the man, dunking the cloth into the cool water again. “The Master be along soon. He want to talk to you, he does.”
Her irritation began to fade, for she appreciated that the human was trying to comfort her.
“My name is Nobel Windwhisper,” she said with a smile. “What is your name?”
The villager returned the smile. “And I be Felix Sundry. Many welcomes to you Nobel, to our town and my home!”
“Am I in Forkwatch now?”
“Nay,” said the man. “This here is Sondereel. We be a small neighbor to castle Forkwatch.”
Ah yes, the fishing village across the river. That was the last thing she remembered seeing before…
“Felix, can you please tell me what happened? I seem to have received quite the konk on the old noggin!”
Nobel watched with interest as the human’s expression darkened. “As I said Miss, the Master be along soon. He ask to be the one who did the tellin’.”
“And who is…”
A shadow fell over the room, as the silhouette of a tall man stood in the door. He paused for a moment, then moved into the room to stand beside the bed. He was handsome enough for a human, with wavy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He seemed to notice that his height was somewhat intimidating from Nobel’s prone angle, and so he stooped to kneel beside her.
“My name is Corindas,” he said, his voice deep and rich. “I welcome you to the village of Sondereel. We have much to talk about.”
wilkens nods and heads to fayspires in search of elindar, she hopes he will come with her to talk to dar. as she walks to the town she wonders if she should tell him that dar wants to talk to him or if she should just ask him to follow her.
after a few minutes she decides that maybe she should just tell him that dar needs to talk to him.

" Come on you smelly creatures I haven't broken a sweat and you are ready to retreat."
out of the large tent came an exceptionaly large orc. Darlena smiled as she readied himself to face her with a wooden mallet. He took a might swing at her to whick she easily avoided. He swung again and again at her till she manuvered behind him and had a lock on his head.
" I guess you are their leader to bad your a weakling."
Darlena quickly snapped his neck letting him fall to the ground. Soon after the other orcs fled leaving Darlena a camp to rest at.

Elindar went slowly from the coach on the road to Tethelin, he looked torn between worlds. He keep his head down and kicked up some of the dirt as he was deep in thought.
Darlena had cleared all the orc bodies away from the camp she took and took a bath in the lake. The orc blood was sticky and smelly. She made sure to wash her armor off as well.

Something told Elindar to head to the eastern shore. He turned and followed his feelings. Soon he was taken back by what he saw, Darlena was washing her garments and was unaware of his presence, he smiled forgetting her past deeds and made his way into her tent. Soon she came in the tent and stopped at the entrance and looked inside. Elindar quickly pulled her inside and held her at arms length.
" Elindar ... I came here looking for you.... I have to explain what happened to Klick Anon."
" It was that witch ....... she made you do it."
" No, but it was a spell that made us do it... my grandfather made us do it .... I ... I didn't want to do it... I couldn't control my body.
Elindar silenced her with a kiss to which she returned his affection, they made more small talk through the night, and eventually fell asleep in the small tent.

The whinny of horses awoke the two elves and Elindar emerged from the tent wearing a red silk robe.
"What is the meaning iof this?"
Two elves dismounted and approached Elindar, one of whom tried to peek into the tent. Elindar grabbed him by the tunic and forced him to look him in the eyes.
"We are sorry to bother you, sir, but your father asked that we deliver this scroll, and that you accompany us immediately. It seems that the magician living in the elemental caverns is under seige and your father would like you to lead a small band against his attackers."
Elindar unravelled the parchment and saw the glowing silvery letters in his father's handwriting. He looked back up at the two elves.
"Go on, I will catch up in a minute"
"But sir..."
"My magic will speed me along...Now GO!!!"
The two elves mounted their horses and headed in the direction of Snafitzer's. Elindar re-entered the tent, and started to throw on his chain shirt. He managed a short tearful glance at the prone red haired beauty.
"I am sorry...but I must go."
He kissed the Shadow Knight softly on her brow and turned and started out the tent flap.
"I will not be but a fortnight...leave word as to where we might rendezvous and I shall meet you where you will...these interlopers will pay dearly for spoiling our pleasure."
He turned around grabbed Darlena forcefully and pressed his lips firmly against hers, caught in a moment of fleeting bliss, then turned and ran out the door singing his song of travel not turning back for a moment...not wanting to see the look on Darlena's face.
