Darlena took a horse from the coachman. When he asked her where she would be taking the horse she told him to Klick Anon, He gave her a warning that the Gnome was not allowing certain female teir'dal to enter its gates. Darlena took the horse and went towards Klick anyway, she rode the horse hard nearly to exhaustion comming within sight of the large walls. A familar scent came to her... it smelled like Wilkens. Darlena got off the horse and started walking a bit sniffing the air for a clue of her whereabouts. She hoped Elindar wasn't worried about her, she just wanted to tell Wilkens about what happend. Then memories of the week before started to come back to her. Chasing Phelan and Adaun.... Klick....... She murdered gnomes. She fell back as every detail became clearer, and what if Elindar knew. She sat on a hill over looking Klick and went deep into thought.

wilkens soon loses sight of the gnome and she figures she had just better let them go on their own. instead of heading back to klick she stops and builds a fire and readies herself for the night.

The smell of smoke filled the air around her, someone had started a fire near her. She first thought nothing of it but then thought it might be some gnomes bandits or Wilkens. Darlena collected herself and went towards the source of the smoke at the very least if it is bandits she would rid Norrath of them.

wilkens stares into the fire and wishes she thought to do some hunting before making the fire. she grabs her bag and opens it to see if she can find something to eat.
she finds some jerky at the bottom of the bag. smiling she starts nibbling on the jerky.
she wonders wonders where she should head to find the rest of them.

Darlena saw the fire and a woman sitting near it, Wilkens. She breathed a sigh of relief and went down to her camp. She saw her nibbling at a piece of jerky and reached into her bag and got out some bread. She walked up infront of her and offered some bread.
"Perhaps this will go well with that wouldn't you say."

" No... Naldany, he married her and they had a child. A boy named Aramis and I don't think Kalysta is happy with that since my mother arranged it. For about a week I was under a spell and attempted to kill Kalysta and I think alot of the gnome here in Klick anon."

"wow, ok let me get this straight.
phelan and naldany have a boy child, interesting name for him as well. i could understand that kalysta isnt a happy camper about that.
you tried to kill kalysta? why would you want to do that?
and as for the gnomes, you must be one of the two blak elfs they were talking about. if so you did alot of damage in that little town of the gnomes.
and if you are telling the truth about a spell, and you have never lied to me before, then you shouldnt be blamed for anything you have done so far."

Darlena smiled a bit before going on.
" I hate being used as a weapon for my grandfather... but hes dead and the spell broken... Nikkii was the other teir'dal with me. I'm going to find Elindar to explain this with him .. if he will listen."

Post by Nobel on Mar 8, 2005 19:04:16 GMT -5
She had never known such awful feelings before in her life. It was as if darkness coursed through her veins, consuming her thoughts and her emotions. Nothing had prepared her to feel hatred like this.
At least that is what she assumed this was, for hate was a foreign emotion to Nobel. She had been blessed with a loving family and a strong community. She had met and befriended Elindar at a young age, and together they had traveled through much of the known lands together. She realized now how lucky she had been, not being burdened with such black emotions.
Visions of Rhenium also bombarded her thoughts, and then the hate would be washed away by guilt. How could she ever forgive herself for the agony her brother went through? How could her parents and siblings absolve her of this? She feared that she would carry her brother’s ghost for the rest of her days.
She stopped briefly in Riverdale to trade for more provisions. She still had a long road ahead, but she needed this time to sort through her thoughts. The Halflings greeted her warmly, not yet hearing of the events in Klick Anon. How wonderful to be so blissfully ignorant of the happenings in the outside world.
Over the next few days, Nobel’s path took her southwest through the barren lands surrounding the Moss Mouth Caverns and eventually into the arable lands near Bastable. She purposely avoided the busy trading outpost of Highpass Hold, not wanting to run into anyone she might know. After camping near Bastable overnight, she continued south through the rolling hills of the Ferran’s Hope territory, and from there moved west into the farmlands of Trail’s End.
All the way, the mage continued to battle with her emotions. Truth be told, it was easy enough to hate Nikkii O’Seth for what she had done. Yet no matter how angry she felt, Nobel could not hate Darlena. She felt certain that the shadowknight must have been acting under some spell of Nikkii’s. She could not believe a friend would betray her like that.
In fact, her final destination had been chosen specifically with Darlena in mind. Nobel had heard of an Erudite arch magus named Mellien Sorreas who dwelled in Forkwatch. He had been researching the phenomenon of the werebeasts, who seemed to be spreading with alarming frequency throughout Norrath. The brilliant scholar had focused on this occurrence after the apparent cure of the great plague.
Nobel knew that the gnomes living in the observatory near Tethelin had also studied the werecreatures. However, rumor had it that this Mellien had made some remarkable finds in his studies. He had even been in contact with the two great werelords themselves – Levandius, king of the werewolves and Dorindas, the spiritual leader of the werebears.
As the young gnome made her way past the realm of the Siloth knights, she wondered if Mellien was close to finding a cure for lycanthropy. If Darlena truly was losing the ability to control herself while in her werewolf form, a cure might be the best option for her. Otherwise she feared for the safety of any who had contact with the beautiful dark elf, especially Elindar.
Nobel walked along the river after passing a smaller village of Siloths. She could see the castle walls of Forkwatch in the distance, catching the silver glow of the full moon. She was grateful not to have to camp out in the wilds, and looked forward to reaching the inn. She would speak with Mellien at first light.
Perhaps the sight of her destination made her careless. Perhaps it was her preoccupied mind. Regardless, she did not notice that her concealment spell had worn off. Normally she would have conjured an elemental to travel with her as protection, but even this common sense action had slipped her mind.
The beast lay in hiding along the riverbank, drooling as it watched its prey walk past. It raised itself from the ground, standing slouched but two-legged, and cautiously stalked behind the distracted gnome. Yellow eyes twinkled in the moonlight.
Nobel saw the lights of a small fishing village up ahead. She prepared to swim across the river, then take the road leading from the village up to Forkwatch. The mage stopped by the water and began to conjure a simple spell to keep her clothing dry. Nothing worse than squelching through town in soggy boots!
A heavy weight hit her from behind and sent her tumbling forward, and she screamed as a horrible pain spread into her shoulders. Nobel was vaguely aware of some shouting before the world faded into blackness.

well, im not sure, but he is an easy going fellow. he may be upset but i have a feeling he may listen to you.
what we can do is have you cloaked. and when we find him we can get him off on his own and talk to him alone, i think that would be the best idea. until we know for sure how he feels.
