Cheron had no choice but to enter the manor. She had to buy the herbs there to make the swelling and pain go down or by morning she would look as if she had been beaten for days on end.
She walked in, buying what she needed, before going up to her room. She didn't bother to close the door. She wasn't going to sleep, so she had no need for it. Instead, she merely set to work to make a sort of liquid out of the herbs she bought.

He then proceeded to the room he purchased and began to remove his his cloak followed by his armor. His armor was encrusted in bloodrubys and it seemed bloodred almost black. As he lay in nothing but his leather pants, he thought about his next destination. He decided it whould be wisest to head to moradhim next. From out of his armor he pulled a scalebound tome and held it close. It had a symbol encrusted upon it in gold. He then proceeded to close his eyes and get some rest, for it was close to nightfall.

Cheron sat on the edge of her bed, reading over the instructions she had been given. They had only told her the name of the tome she was to steal. How was she supposed to find the dark elf if she did not know his name? She sighed and put the intructions away. She was running low on tunar.
She stood and prepared for a night of raiding rooms as people slept. She had learned how to do that long before she even became an assassin, since she used to steal her brother's marbles when he was asleep. And he usually woke any time the cat walked across the floor, he was such a light sleeper. Yet, she had gotten away with it.
She walked out of her room and silently chose a door. Without a sound, she quickly picked the locks on the door and snuck inside. By then, it was well after midnight. She hid to give herself some time to adjust to the light.

Before he slept he removed the illusion he had cast upon him. He was now in his true form, a dark elf with countless scars on his chest, hair black with bangs across his face, his eyes blood red now. He was still as tall and masculine as a barbarien, but still attractive as a dark elf. He then closed his eyes and held his tome close as he readied himself for sleep.

After she was done with the first room, she left and went on to another. She had gotten used to the lack of light by then and could see well enough when she went into the room. She quietly searched the room, but the figure in the bed caught her attention.
Upon closer inspection, she found that the dark elf laying in the bed was the same one she was supposed to kill. She stood there, beside the bed, staring at him as if she were both mezmerised and horrified. She had found him, and she had found the tome she was supposed to steal. She pulled out her dagger quietly, but only held it in her hand.
She couldn't do it. Normally, she would have no problem with a mission. But this time, something was stopping her, something was telling her not to do it. And she was listening. Her dagger went back to it's place as silently as it had appeared, and vanished. Yet she could not take her eyes from the dark elf.
Standing in the darkness, she looked him over as he slept. She wondered, how he had gotten so many scars. Without really knowing what she was doing, she silently moved just close enough that her arm reached out, and her hand moved a stray strand of hair from his face. She felt her expression soften as she looked at him, but to her, it was as if she could not control her own body.

He woke up as she touched his hair and spoke coldly."You again? What are you doing in my room? Couldnt resist picking my pocket after all could you?..In High pass I wouldnt have cared but trying to pick my pocket but in my sleep...does your theivery know no bounds? Hmm...impressive though..its a shame you should see me in my true form..You better give me dam good reason not to kill you..I dont allow others to see my true form very often." He sat up and prepared to cast a spell but gave her a chance to explain herself first before he would do so.

She looked at him confused, tilting her head slightly when he first started speaking. Then her eyes widened when he mentioned Highpass and she took a few steps away from him. "A-Acheron?" She said. Her body shook, and for some reason, she almost felt like crying.
She sank to the floor in front of him, her shoulders shaking as she spoke in a hushed tone. "I..forgive me. I...did not know it was you."
She remembered her mission and this time, she did cry, her heart feeling as if someone had split it into. She looked up at him and moved, taking his hands in her's by instinct and kneeling in front of him with a pleading look on her face, which was now streaked with tears.
"Acheron, please. You mustn't go to Freeport for a while. There are people trying to kill you and take your tome. They sent me to do it, but I couldn't. I didn't even know you were the dark elf I was searching for until I came in here...and I still couldn't do it." She looked down, shaking still as her hands let go of him. "Please...forgive me..and do not go to Freeport. I...I could not stand to see you dead."
She wasn't worried about her own life, and she spoke every word of truth, but for some reason, the thought of him being killed tore at her worse than anything else she had ever gone through.

He tilted his head confused at her crying. "Why does this tought make you cry? How could you care for one such as I? Take my word for it...you dont want to know me. You would only get killed yourself. And what makes you think any man alive could kill me? No guard or any creature alive would stand a chance against me in combat. What makes you think they could even scratch me? And why am i being hunted? Who is behind this?" His tone was as cold and emotionless as ever. He wasnt used to someone caring for his own well being. It was something new to him, though he didnt much seem affected by it, but it still intrigued him

She did not move from her spot on the floor, and she still shook as she answered his questions the best she could.
"I...don't know why...it pains me to think of your death. And I'm not sure why I care for you, but I do. I don't care about my own life. I have wanted to die for a while now."
She looked up at him, her expression not changing and her tears not yet having stopped. "I...don't know who is behind it, it was just orders I was given. And...they want your tome." She answered the last two questions as she looked down at the ground with angry eyes. "They find ways to kill anyone they want to. No matter how strong they might be."

He proceeded to wipe the tears from her face as he spoke calmly "Hm..I doubt that they could manage it but..if it makes you feel better you can stay the night with me..they no doubt will be after you now that you have turned your back on them." He then proceeded to lie down again he layed his book underneath his armor knowing it to be safe.

She smiled weakly and nodded her head slightly. Her smile didn't last long, though. She stood from the floor and walked to the door, locking it back up. Once that was done, she moved over to the bed, lying down on the floor to try and sleep. She wasn't very comfortable on the floor, but she boubted he wanted her to sleep in his bed.
They would be after her, alright. And they would want her dead. She was going to have to be extra careful now.

After a few hours of laying on the floor in her thoughts, she could no longer stand the cold ground. Silently, she stood, crawling into the bed beside Acheron. Once there, she quickly fell asleep, snuggled under the covers next to him where she stayed the rest of the night.
Her dreams soon became troubled. Memories of her past came back to haunt her. The faces of those she had assassinated were burned into her mind. Then a familiar face entered her dreams, screaming at her, cursing her for betraying him. Yet the man was still alive.
The faces changed, and she stood at the edge of a bloody battlefeild. Acheron was with her, fighting against a horde of strangely shapped creatures she could not even begin to describe. Others faught with them, their powers helping in some way as those from both sides fell. The ground became soaked with blood. Acheron was hit hard, his body falling. She screamed in horror.
The next thing she knew, she was sitting up in the bed, her face pale and her breathing heavy as sweat beaded on her forehead. She closed her eyes and moaned inwardly. It was just barely past midnight. The sun would not be up for hours, and she was just as tired as she had been when she'd fallen asleep.

He woke for a moment to find her awake and laying beside him, he thought for a moment his expression emotionless, he seemed bothered by her company yet he felt strangely attracted to her, though that he would keep to himself prefering to not find him self becoming close to anyone that was his way, he was simply not allowed and he would now have to watch his back carefully knowing other forces to be after him.
He proceeded to fall asleep once again, soon it became morning, he got up and began to put his armer on quietly hoping not to wake her, his armer was now on as he put on his cloak and tucked his book into his armer in a safely protected spot near his chest.
Without looking at her, he proceeded towords the door unlocking it, as he opened the door a fliched as it made a squeek sound, he turned his head to look at her she would no doubt be awake now.

And she was. She had been awake since he first moved, watching him put on his armor silently. She had sat up in the bed by the time he had turned to open the door, and was standing when he looked back at her. She looked at him a moment as if she were confused, and almost with a hurt expession, but after a few moments she just looked away from him as she gathered her pack.
She supposed he wasn't used to company, or that he simply did not like her presence.

He had kind of been hoping to leave her behind he knew that his mission would be too dangerous for some one like her, she could only get in his way, but then again thats how he felt about everyone.
He went down the hall and out into the open when suddenly he noticed some one, a shadowed figure of a troll passing over the hills by his appearance he seemed to be a Chaos knight as well. he seemed to look just like one of Acheron's former friends this time though something was different about him, he couldnt exactly tell what it was but in his mind he knew something was about to happen.
Their eyes met for a moment as the troll continued running in the direction of honjour and quickly vanished from sight.
