He nodded his head, acting as if he was paying attention to her and simply shrugged as he spoke somewhat."mhm.." Seeming not to care though he had unwittingly made a new companion that even though he thought he could get rid of her simply by ignoring her somewhat would no doubt leave his side for some reason unknown to him.

"You don't talk much, do ya?" She said, falling back into step beside him. She looked around the road they were on and shivered slightly. "If you don't mind...I think I'm just gonna stick with you 'til we get to Darvor. The thugs around he don't care much for others. Especially females."
She fell quiet then, though she pulled out her dagger again. This time, instead of attacking him with it, she just tossed it back and forth between her hands, or flipped it around between her fingers nimbly.

When they had reached the halfway point to darvar manor suddenly a highway thug ran out from the bushes screaming as if to attack when Acheron looked upon the highway thug and spoke calmly before attempting to cast a spell."Mistake number one...never make your presence noticed when attacking.." He then cast a spell that instantly turned the highway thug to bones as he fell to the floor in pieces, while Acheron continued to walk the path as if there was no disruption at all.

Cheron had instantly jumped upon seeing the thug. Without thinking, she had let out a startled cry and held onto Acheron's arm. When the thug turned to bone and crumbled to the ground, she just kept walking with him, not bothering to let go of his arm. Then again, it could have been because she was shaking enough and her wits were scattered.

He looked at her somewhat annoyed for a moment as he shook his arm lightly trying to get her off but he quickly found that she wouldnt release her hold of him so he simply mumbled a brief profannity and continued walking along the path he was set on.

She held onto his arm for a while, staring at the road as if she were either lost or confused. Then, two hours after she had grabbed his arm and they were still walking, she blinked suddenly and released her hold on him, her cheeks blooming red as she pulled away from him quickly.
"Sorry." She whispered and continued to walk beside him.

He simply shook his head and mumbled something profane as he didnt like the company of others. He didnt enjoy people much. In fact, he hated them, content to remain by himself for his entire life and it didnt bother him. Although his job required extreme secracy being of his kind and all, a chaos knight wouldnt be handled lightly, seeing as chaos knights have for ages been the silent assassins that led to great wars and, then taking part in those wars for the sport of massive blood shed.

Cheron just walked beside him as if she were ignoring him. She fell silent for once, her brows furrowing and her ice blue eyes darkening slightly with a thoughtful frown upon her face. She had a mission to attend to herself, but she did not want to do it.
She put her dagger away and let her hands fall into her pockets. There, one hand clutched the letter that she kept hidden. She knew it all too well. She was to find a dark elf enchanter and kill him to take the tome he carried. She sighed silently. She had already killed the Page, a young man named Roberts, for her last mission. She shook her head after a moment. No. She had plenty of time before she was due to return.
By then the man she was supposed be looking for could have been killed by "someone else", and his tome taken. Yes, that would work. Now if she could only find him and manage to tell him to stay away from freeport for a few seasons, everything would work out perfectly.

As they reached darvar manor he turned to her his face emotionless."So...I expect you plan to part ways yes? I warn you..I do not enjoy the company of others..and you may not enjoy my company as well.." He then turned and pointed towords darvar manor."This is were I stay tonight. Later we shall part ways."

She had been silent the entire time. When he spoke, she had only nodded her head. But then she seemed to come out of some sort of trance and looked at him. She would have seemed to be mocking him, if it had not been for the fact that her eyes held no emotion in them whatsoever. They would have, if she was mocking him.
"Actually..." She said, her tone the same way as her expression and eyes, "I actually like hanging around you."
She looked towards Darvar Manor and frowned slightly, her eyes falling upon someone she had seen before and did had been trying to avoid for months now. She looked back at Acheron then to the large barbarian that stood by the coachman.
"Soft..." She muttered coldly, her icy blue eyes watching him as they entered the city. He saw her, and instantly walked over to her, ignoring the man that walked beside her.
His large hands grabbed her shoulders almost instantly, holding her still as he glared down at her. "Where have you been, Cheron?" He demanded, his voice rough and growled. "Why have you been avoiding me all this time?"
She didn't answer him. Instead, she tried to pull away. His grip on her only tightened and she whimpered slightly at the pain he caused her. "Let go of me!" She yelled at him, drawing the attention of a few others in the area who stopped to watch the conversation between the redheaded barbarian and the strange human.
He growled and his hand moved. There was a resounding smack as his hand landed across the side of her face. Her head turned with the force of the blow and her eyes closed, holding back the threatening tears from the sting of the slap.

He turned to her and spoke."Do you wish me to dispatch this poor excuse for a man?" His hand was already on his sword as he pulled it from its sheath. It glowed with a black glow as he held his sword ready to kill. "I can easily kill him if you wish. If not I suggest he lay his hands off of you...i will not tolerate the abuse of a woman!"

The barbarian was the one to answer as he held a struggling Cheron to his side with one arm. He glared at Acheron, his eyes flashing angrily.
"This is none of your concern, stranger." He warned icily. "What I do with my woman is none of your business."
Cheron slipped her hand in her pocket and pulled a dagger, stabing it into his leg. He growled in pain and let go of her. Instantly she was beside Acheron again, glaring at him, her dagger still in her hand.
"I've already told you.." She growled. "I am not your woman any more."
The barbarian looked hurt for a moment before he laughed, almost evily, and began to charge her, his sword in his hand. She stood back and waited to fight for her life.

He spoke coldly to the charging barbarian."Your first mistake was talking to me in such a way! Your second was to engage a female with such intent...now die!! With one swing of his sword he left a mortal wound on the barbarian, the wound quickly turning char coal black and parlyzing his body. The barbarian fell to the floor as Acheron slowly walked closer to him and stood above him with his sword in hand and his foot on his chest."Never talk to me in such a way! ..Just know..that for such arrogance..you shall live with pain you never thought imaginable!"

The barbarian wreathed in pain, his hand reaching out to clutch Cheron's ankle as she stared down at him. She just stood there, looking at him for a moment, before her expression became cold, and heartless. She pulled her ankle away from him easily enough and took a step back.
"Cheron..my love...help me!" The barbarian said, still reaching for her.
She looked at him coldly, no emotion playing in her features whatsoever. She turned her back to him, and walked to the well, ignoring the cries he made for her. She let the bucket into the water of the well and drew it out filled with water. She took a cloth from her pocket and dipped it in the water, hissing as she washed the now-bruised side of her face and the lip that had been bleeding from his slap.

An evil smirk crossed his face as he spoke coldly."So you know...dont expect a healer to be able to cure your wound..the only healer that could would sooner kill you then help you...a cyclops in fact..so, should you find a way to heal your wound..i look forward to killing you." He then pressed his foot into the mans chest to bring him more pain, before walking away to enter the manor seeking a bed for the night.
