T'would seem that if you had 'Dish Network' or 'Satalite' then there sould be a 24 hour Anime channel...

If there was a 24 hr anime channel, I would deffinately want it. I would want in on cable though, so I could watch it in my appartment with out having to pay extra, lol. My sister on the other hand...She'd be the one watching the Inuyasha marathons.

We have Comcast Digital cable, and use the 'On Demand' feature to watch various Anime programs. Once in a while, there's a commercial before the show starts asking you to call your cable provider and request a 24 hour Anime Network. I'm thinking if the demand is there, it could happen on cable and not just through using a satellite. **crosses fingers**

I don't know. Our cable comes furnished, so all we have is basic stuff like Cartoon Network and G4 Tech TV...which is where I usually watch my animes.

As Rhabuka explained...what we have as part of our HD/Digital package are two On-Demand Anime channels through Comcast. They have their own which is called Anime Selects that have shown things like Shaman Princess and Lodoss...and then there is Anime Channel on demand which has had Those who hunt elves...Orphen...Rune Soldier... Finally there is the free on demand for Adult Swim (cartoon net) where they have had .hack, Helsing, witchhunters... so...if you like anime and Comcast is your cable provider it may be a worthwhile investment for an upgrade.

Why do 'Special Interests' have to cost more I thought about getting comcast, but hearing how bad their internet service was (and seeing it online) and how much the charged... we went with Quest instead. 'Quest, ride the blight...'

Zug and I just watched our first episode of "Slayers" -- very funny, thanks to all who recommended it!
Gaien, we've actually seen Comcast's service improve lately. We've had the digital cable for a while now, and their internet service for about a year with no major problems (knock on wood LOL).

lol, all my friends who played EQOA, FFXI and WoW that had comcast were semi-perma link-dead! They were always going LD right in the middle of things, but if you say it's improved... Slayers is great, love it! *Obliterates some small city with a Dragon-slave*

We've been lucky, I guess, no LD problems like that for us very often.
We watched "Slayers", episode 2 yesterday. I like that girl's attitude!!
I also recently won an ebay auction for the whole Samurai X 'OVA' series. I've read that episodes 1 and 2 were extremely violent, as they focus on the time when Kenshin was still a manslayer. I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival in the mail ;D
