I think they are made-up names, although Tolkien did write about the legendary Longbottom leaf!

[glow=red,2,300]Bigtime ultra-nerd alert. [/glow]
Actually....
There are three different forms of Elvish in the Tolkien mythos. The two most common however are Quenyan and Sindarin.
Quenyan is the language of the High Elves (The High elves for lack of a better analogy were the elves that were born in Heaven and come to Middle-Earth (where most died) but then return to heaven at the end of the LOTR. In the movies, there actually were only three that were shown Gilgalad (who appears briefly in the battle against Sauron where he is slain) Cirdan "the harbormaster" (He is the old elf that gave Gandalf the ring of fire) and Galadriel. It is said that "in heaven" all they speak is Quenyan.
The rest speak Sindarin. This is the language of the Dark Elves (Elves born after the two trees of light in heaven were destroyed and the Simarils were taken away). This is more or less common elvish in the Tolkien world. However some words are similar looking/sounding with different meanings. Ellindar is actually Sindarin for Starsong. In Sindarin El means Star and lindar means song so...
I do believe that the names that you were assigned fall more into the category of how I came up with Ellindar, so I don't think there were actual characters that had those names.

Um right Zug.... :: Backs away cautiously :::
Thanks for that filler. I wasn't sure. I know that his name genertator works by taking the first and last letters of your name and then uses that as a key to find your "elvin" or "hobbit" name. How did you find out about the Sindarin language Zug?

I have read all of the Lord of the Rings books 12-13 times as well as the Silmarillion a half dozen times. I wish they would make a movie out of even part of the Silmarillion. In the Silmarillion Sauron is referred to as a mere lieutenant to Melkor/Morgorth who is the main baddie.

Awsome quiz. I love pirates! Arr, ah pierates loife fer me!
Iron Charity Bonney
A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you are that person. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!
Well, that is what it said...lol Cool quiz Kyrinn

Bloody Jack Flint
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

Your pirate name is:
Mad Bess Kidd
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

Black Grace Bonney
Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!
