LOL he came in like a lion and dissapeared like a lamb. I only RPed with him very briefly. Anyone know this poor fellow, or can we start writing him in as a villain ;D

I have no idea what happened to him. He seemed like he was going to be a really good player. But he just dissapeared. Have you tried sending him an in-game mail?

last time i saw him was the day he finally got on the site and read the story lines. he never said anything in guild and then i saw his sk gone and apparently his other char that was in the guild is gone as well. yes, he and i had a few differences. and yes i was short with him. personally tho, i am not unhappy with him being gone. for he was way to forcefull. and every time i turned around he was near by me for some reason or another. the last time i grouped with him was shortly after i made wilkens. he had made a new char that he promptly told me was another part of hugo, he had made a necromancer, he was causing some problems in the group, i finally just told the other person in our group to basicly ignore what will be said next and ripped a strip off his new char ic. i was getting tired of trying to keep our hlr alive because he would go off and bring more mobs in with his pet. after this was done, the other person said cool that was neat. hugo then said in group chat not even in tells, that we should invite this person to guild since they are interested. i didnt respond to this, i didnt know how, the person didnt say they were interested they just said that was cool and that was it. i did send the person a tell saying im sorry for the blatant attempt at trying to recruit them. i didnt get a response back so i took it as they were not interested. honestly tho, i dont think he is a positive thing to have around, for yes we all have story lines going but, from what i have seen so far, everyone asks before bringing anothers char into one.

One thing that really makes me upset, is when people dont give any explanation for leaving a guild they were (assumably) on good terms with. In Hugo's case, i think we really are better off without him, especially after reading Merri's post. Truth is, reputation does matter in EQ, and if we let one person in who is an idiot, it only stands to reason that people will begin to look at us as a noob guild, effectively kiling our chance of getting decent recruits. Also, since he decided to leave and not tell anyone, or even say thank you for having me in for awhile but its not working, it leaves me to believe he is probably some little kid (no offence to our younger, yet surprisingly mature members) and we really are better off without him...

(no offence to our younger, yet surprisingly mature members) Jwiz Was just wondering if I needed a different deoderant or something. Rhabuka won't let me bring my armor in the house after a grind, she says that it smells like it was used to give Nagafen a colonoscopy. Yes, reputation is important. In our original form a few days after we were formed a member who had come from PPO at the request of "she who shall remain nameless" flamed us on the boards about an incident with another member without bringing it here or saying anything to anyone in game. Things can be worked out peeps...not everyone has to get along..and I think we would all be more than happy to leave your character out of a/all SL's if informed. Anyway, personally I think we have a pretty good group though there are a few in game I haven't spoken to or met (Koleador please forgive me if I am forgetting your name...). But, it is IMO better to have a small passionate base for this type of association...than a large disinterested. All opinions expressed above are completely those of the Ogre Zugarok. They do not necessarily represent those of the RPA or any of it's individual members. Any resemblence to real people, ogres, trolls, elfs...is purely coincidental.

lol i love the disclaimer!
I totally agree with the whole small guild, big fun theory. In a number of guilds i have been in with one char or another, ive noticed a trend growing to have "the biggest, and therefore best" guild in EQ. The truth is that when it comes to how good your guild is, quantity does not always (or to put it another way, rarely ever) signify quality. Id rather be in a guild with 4 people, than a noob guild who invites anyone who comes along.
Then again, it is just my opinion, I could be wrong... (quote from Dennis Miller)

I agree 100% Aerista and Zugarok.
I recall that before he left, Hugo kept saying in guild chat how we needed more members. This will never be an "Ubah" guild, in the traditional sense. This type of thing certainly won't appeal to everyone.
I'm excited about the base of players we have. You guys have done a fantastic job of setting up storylines on the boards and weaving them into the game. I wish I had more time to do that myself!!!

i have to agree with what i have seen so far. i love our little family, and i do think that if we find others who are seriously interested then we should invite, an example is when aer, jwiz and i did our sl for her princess story, had to go into say chat, jwiz char wasnt in guild so everyone that was standing near by watched, we got the new dwarf because he loved the way we played it out. we have a great family and i would love to see new people but not if it causes problems
