Gamespy.com has had a great feature on the history of D+D. For those of us that took the boat to the expert set's Isle of Dread, slaved away at the Gold Box games, or raised the halfling bones from the sewer in Eye of the Beholder, its all there. There is a history of the game and all the video games as well. Even interviews with Arneson and Gyrax

About a month ago, I picked up a copy of Dragon magazine which featured articles about the 30th ( is that right???) anniversary of D&D. I can't say I was a long time D&D player like Zug was... he did DM a few games for me and some friends of ours. I was, however, a fan of various D&D games that I played on my old Commodore 64 computer! I had the same group of player characters that I would create and send through the games. I wish I could remember their names now... I can only recall my warrior named Aves.
