I most definitely am a cat person. I love how dogs are loyal and all, but a cat has some real personality. They shrug you off, and ingnor you, and only become friendly when they are hungry. And then there is the In-out game. They Meow and want outside the door. So you smile and let them out. Then the meow again five seconds latter and want back in. Then they sit and stare at the door, as if to say "are you going to open it or am I just going to have to sit here and look pathetic?" So, kind of annoyed, you open the door, roling your eyes. So then your lovely cat sticks his head out the door. What are you supposed to do now?
What can I say, I love them.

I'd have to go with dog person. Zug and I have a little Shih Tzu named Frodo, and he has a better disposition than any dog, cat and many people I've met in my lifetime! I have had all manner of pets -- birds, fish, cats, dogs, and even a chameleon -- but in my heart I am a dog person

I concur with Rhabuka's summary and we still have our Veiled Chameleon (Chippy who just celebrated his 3rd birthday). I am uncomfortable with animals (cats) that look at you and seem to be thinking "if you were small enough I would eat you" that don't live in enclosures. I also am not a big fan of living with an animal that bites and scratches you on purpose (other than Rhabuka )

i am definately a dog person. Cats are annoying, stuck-up, self centered snobs. ( sorry to all you cat lovers out there.. nothing against you of course). Dogs are warm-hearted, loyal, loving friends . Thats my opinion on the subject of cats and dogs. ::: bows :::: thank you.

That's hardly a fair statement Bubb.
I have 3 cats and one of them will always be sitting on the table next to my rocking chair when I'm playing EQ with you guys. All 3 cats greet me at the door when I get home from work. One of the cats will always wake me up if I'm slow about waking up when one of the babies is crying. All 3 cats even let my little brother maul on them when he comes to visit without retribution. The only bad trait that they really have is laziness, but they got that from me so I can't complain.

Yeah, I'm with ya Kyrinn. Have your cats ever sat on your keyboard, or lay down on top of a paper while your reading it just to get attention. Yeah, it is annoying, but it is the funniest thing if you look at it in the right light. It is all in the eyes of the beholder.

If I leave the keyboard in their spot they'll lay down on it, usualy nothing bad happens but they've laid on the arrow keys while I was pulling and ended up making me pull a couple extra.

LOL! I can just see it. And then you get all mad at your cat and shew him away and he looks at you like your a jerk for interupting what was supposed to be a sentimental moment between cat and man. But then you know you love them, not matter how stuck up they are lol.

I have to say one time I left my 40 something shammy treading water in the ocean while I went on a short break...when I came back my dog was sitting on my controller and my screen was full of grouptells from the rest of my group...all to the effect of "what happened?" "You freakin drowned!!!"

I recall at least one occassion where our dog drowned one of our characters while we were taking a break. It confused the heck out of the group we were in, watching the character's life slip away...

By the way, did anyone knowtice the adds at the top of this page when you open it. Mine was an advertisement for a delux catlitter box with wooden cabinet inclosed system and everything. It was only 159 bucks. That is a durn expensive cat litter box. Lol! And Zug, see, your dog is out to kill you. You sould become a cat lover, or at least neutral.
