Just wanted to know if any of you play other games online. Here is my list

I don't have much time to play other games online. In fact, I bought EQOA just so I would have to buy or rent any other games. It has satified me quite well. I used to play all the good action games though, like spiderman, and Jack and Daxter....super mario brothers when I was 7. Yeah I have been a gamer for a long time. But I beat them so fast, I would barely be able to play the game. So I found this one, EVERquest, something I couldn't beat lol.

No, just EQOA for us thank goodness! We've been thinking of giving "City of Heros" a try but don't like the PC games as much and are still having too much fun with EQ! It's amazing, the staying power this game has had. Plus with the new roleplaying aspect, that has added a new level to it!

The only games I used to play online were the old MUDs I played when I was younger. I played on Carrionfields and on Hidden Worlds.

Me too I had an immortal on Forbidden Lands mud and a triple 40 on Sloth Mud back when Mosaic was the web browser and the www. had no ads.

In my oppinion the ony thing that EQOA has on most MUDs is the graphical interface. I'm always tormented with the temptation to go back to mudding. I think it would be awsome if someone took a game like EQOA and ran it more like a MUD.

Kyrinn I do agree with you...could you imagine an eqoa'r running into a deathtrap. LOL my immort's mailbox would fill up almost daily with requests to rescue people's equip from them. I dunno about EQPC but lol I also can't imagine the average eqoa'r running into Naggy whose single breath attack would slag all of their equipment. The thing about MuDs however is that they are run because the IMPs love playing/running them...no profit except the occasional thank you. And yes it added alot to the roleplaying aspect that I could create and spawn zones for my quests and could create Unique items in seconds with my immorts. I also liked following groups around and 'possessing' mobs that they were about to face, leading to an actual interaction... however during those days I also longed for a graphical game. So...
