Sponsored Quests

Hello all, having achieved many of my personal goals, I would like to become more involved with sponsoring quests. It seems to me that their is alot of research necessary to create one of these quests and was thinking that it would be a better use of our time to get together and hear from our members as to where some places are that they have come across and different mobs/drops.

SD has spent a huge amount of time doing his research, however I believe that our collective knowledge would help us target certain areas. We could have a meeting to discuss this or we could have a password protected board....lol wouldn't want SOE stealing our ideas, even though it would be rather flattering.

I would like to ask those of you that are just reading the boards to also add your knowledge, since the larger the collective, the better and more enjoyable the quests can be.

Also I would like to know if there are any volunteers to help run these quests. we all have limited character slots per server...and mine is pretty full so I would like to know if anyone would like to volunteer to participate by creating characters and running them during these quest.

I would like to hold a meeting about the sponsered quests...but I think it would be a good idea if all memebers who want to participate and help develope or discuss the sponsered quests, to go through one if they haven't already to see how they are being done.
It would be a great guild event to do....and alot of fun. It wouldn't matter the lvl as it would be mostly going through the steps to complete the quest.

It would be way cool to have the whole guild go through a quest together like one huge raid group...lol. instead of one item, the group as a whole would need to bring back 20 items...then the whole guild would go raid that area till all items had been colleted.

What do you think? then afterwards we could have the meeting and discuss ideas and such while everyone is still fresh from the quest.

(this also is kinda of a pre-lude to an idea I have about sponsered guild raid quests.

I think we are due an OOC meeting! With several topics to be discussed...I will try to send an ingame mail...I know we are coming into a time where people are busy...not sure anyone going away for Memorial day weekend... lets throw out some dates. These are some things I'd like discussed...

1) What are peoples general thoughts...some people when they join seem to be a little intimidated by some of our long term storylines and friendships, and therefore aren't as active as I think they'd like to be (or I would like to hear that I am wrong with this perception)

2) Sponsored Quest involvement (hopefully Creep can attend this part...since he also is involved in this aspect and it would be great if people who wish to be involved could get a better grip of what kind of support people would want.)

3) Raiding... we have gone on numerous raids with Rebel Alliance, and the Allmighty, though attendance has so far been limited to Nikkii, SD, Me, Mack, Jwiz, and Nobel... they are open to anyone....you just have to be willing to die....but can get a 50% cleric rez.

Please lets start discussing a time...since it is easy to put meetings off.
