In this update, the tank archetype received some upgrades and adjustments to their abilities, class masteries, and master classes. Keep in mind, the pursuit of balance is an ongoing process, and these changes are the first to make it into game.
All tanks:
***Added small strength modifier to taunt path and made the AC component stack with most other buffs.
***Made ability: Taunt (level 5 or 8 depending on class) scales with level to be useful until you get the next taunt.
***Slightly increased the modifier on higher level taunts.
Paladin Abilities:
***AC transfer path now stacks with more buffs, cannot be cast without a friendly target (though it still goes off if you have yourself targeted), and the effect time has been increased slightly.
***Defender Line should now stack with most other buffs besides epic paths.
***Might and Disciple’s Line should now stack with more buffs in game but the stamina component will not stack with each other.
Shadow Knight Abilities:
***Increased harm touch’s damage and made it less resistible.
***Hand of… line is now stackable with most other buffs.
***Pain Touch, Death’s Kiss, Death’s Embrace, Hand of Bertox, and Deadly Grasp kept their same resists but have an additional small, short debuff to either AR or DR that should make the abilities land more often.
***Str taps, changed to PR and gave small, short PR debuff to the abilities and the taps should stack with most other buffs.
***AC taps keep their same resist, but have a small, short AR debuff to help the abilities land, and they should stack with more abilities.
Class Masteries:
***Added 75 HPs on each rank of tainted blood.
***Added small lifetap portion to the life clench DoTs.
***Added small, short debuff and changed resist type to PR on Parasitic Bond CM line.
***Adjusted Infernal Hatred line to have the same AR debuff component as its corresponding ability (nukes) line.
***Unholy bond is now much less resistible.
Master Class:
Chosen-
***Spite is now much less resistible.
Slayer-
***Added small str mod to all components of the ability.
***Changed cursed touch line to have the same debuff components as the regular and/or CM line.
Soldier-
***Added small hp buff/heal to Soldier's Cry
***Veteran MC ability, added +5 to each resist
Quest:
***Visit Lyddyl Grangerbark near Fayspires for a quest
