*Clears throat*
In all probability I will be getting Frontiers soon and will start playing again, if only every once in a while. My question is for those knowegable about the game, especially Rangers.
Where should I my points into for Stats? I primarily wish to use a bow and I'm not that interested in tanking. Any help here would be great!

Excellent news!!! Let me get back to you on your stats question, I'll check on the main boards as I'm sure someone has made a thread for starting a ranger. If you actually use your bow in groups, that will put you far ahead of many of the rangers I've grouped with. They seem to insist on jumping into the fray and avoid using a bow at all. Silly, especially if they take 'Bow' as their path.

I figured Dexterity would be vital, but I also heard that Wisdom affects how much damage you deal with a bow too. And what about Agility? Any ideas on if those are the correct three primary stats for a ranger?

This is from the main EQOA boards. There's also a 15 page ++ "Official Rangers Thread" but I didn't wade into that LOL! I think you're right though in that Wisdom affects ranged damage. I hope this helps:
Power pool = Dex and Agi (the flashing ones)
There are four key stats to a Ranger IMO -- Str Dex Sta Agi -- Str and Dex are the keys to more melee damage, Wis and Dex are the key to ranged damage.
You could also build a well rounded ranger, like I’ve attempted. Get agi-dex-sta-str to 100, then work on wisdom and take the bow path line. The items you receive/ armor will mostly likely have agi and dex on them, so upping wisdom and str is ok.
If you go bow path ranger, think like the alchemists, you’re going to use 10% of your mana anyway so your Power isn’t really that important. Get as many of your PoT's cm's as you can and whenever you group try to have a battery with you always.
Now I say up str because when your mana is out, you will need to start swinging. You should have some armor space to substitute items for more str and dex, as well as items that will increase wis and dex. Hopefully you will have a good tank so extremely high Sta isn’t needed right away and agility isn’t that much of a factor to you.

Sounds like Dexterity, then Wisdom, followed by Agility and STA/STR. Correct?

That sounds about right. Of course you don't want to build a paper character, so points in Sta should be a priority. After all, tanks only have one Taunt spell between levels 1 and 23 -- you don't want to draw too much attention to yourself during that time! I'd say focus on Dex and Sta with a bit in Agi, Str and Wis now and then. Putting points into Dex and Agi will boost your power pool and help you shoot those arrows. I honestly don't know how much of a help Wisdom will be at lower levels. Here's the link to the main boards, you might find additional tips there: everquestonlineadventures.station.sony.com/
