;D If SOE came here to RPA for ideas what would you say? I know they probably wouldn't, but I like having this discussions to have fun. Where should I begin... Well I like being in teams, so I would tell them to divide the races into three teams and they would be in constant war with each other. So we could have massive battles.....oh wait this is my idea for the PvP server... Well then I'd say the way they had them on EQ PC would be a start.

Roleplaying preffered server for sure. they need to add in langauges. I think being able to own a house and the what not like the pc version is important too. the way alchol works on the pc vers, with the drunk effects and all is a must it was always fun trying to go fight something like that. Also different looking armor and being able to change the look of your armor, customizable.

I agree with Phel on the roleplay server. If they made one of those, I'd DEFFINATELY have that server filled on my account. Also, I think there should be more than four people allowed in a group.
A group with a healer, a tank, a DD, and say two casters or something like that would be awsome. Do you have any idea how cool that would be? Say you'd have a warrior, a shaman, a bard, a wizzard, and a magician/necromance in one group. You'd OWN the mobs you were killing. (No, I do not use the word pwon or pwn. As Phel would call it..its alphabet soup to me)
I'd also like to see more dropped rares with charsima out there for all levels. Being a shaman its hard to find anything with charisma that isn't crafted. That's on both CLW and FH. I've looked. heh. Any way that's about all I can think of at the moment.

I'd want to see better AI... Such as scouts running back to DFC to tell them that a party of mighty adventurers is coming so that they could whup our butts...
Would want political intrigue ...someone killed the current Bayle and now there is a power struggle for succession.
Would want powers granted due to being true to their professions. Such as a cleric pisses off their diety and being stripped of their spells. or a wizard hasn't studied her spells long enough and forgets a word in the casting. Or a paladin acts like most of the paladins I have met (which is probably truer to the historic Paladins of Charlemagne (who were merciless knights) than to the fantasy version)
I would run server wide events where the NPCs are part of the guide program that was supposedly installed and I would create unique artifacts as rewards (like I did with my immort when I played MUDs)
Basically I would want roleplaying aspects to be implemented by people who get paid to do it (and thus have far more time)

Zug I complete agree with, those are a few more aspects that are from the comp vers that they need to move over to the ps2 vers.

I am amazed by some of the writers here in RPA. It would be great if we were aloud to make history and create lore. I've read some bios about your characters that are so good that I would liked to have read them in game.
Maybe make a small window, like the charter where we can write stuff for the guilds, where we could read some bios about the characters.
Or books in towns where we could write stories for our characters. That would make those with great roleplaying skills famous, in my opinon. Our characters would become part of history and lore.
I must say reading SL about characters, makes me want to roleplay.
New players would read about this as history and lore, and make more history and lore for the next generation of players.

A RP server with languages would be great. I just wish they did more things to encourage role playing in general I realise that EQOA is not the big dog and probably has a small staff at this point but then why don't I see any of these things being done on FFXI (the current 800 lb gorilla of MMORPGs although WoW and EQ2 should pass it soon)?

(WoW passed up both EQ2 and FFXI, amazingly, but there are still improvements that could be made to it, but the same could be said for any MMORPG. Loved FFXI tho')
Hmmmm..... this give me an idea, assuming WoTC doesn't zap it from my head...

You would think that someone would have incorporated everything into one by now, but no there isn't one with everything in it, I have confidence in sony, they have a good record at upgrading, at least with regular eq. I am sure that if enough ppl actually expressed stuff they would like to see they would add it.
