out wandering

[Wilkens]

the house was blessedly quiet. as wilkens stretches she realizes that the past few days have been hard on her, both emotionally and physically.

as she quietly gets dressed she thinks to herself about what she has to do for the day. there is really no need to stay here waiting for her mother to come back from the healers.

"maybe i will go and do some hunting. and when mother gets better she can make some of her famous jerky. "

thinking of the jerky reminds wilkens of my sweet. such an ugly bird but she was the best pet a girl could have.

" i will have to find my new pet sooner or later. i wonder where it got to"

wilkens quietly heads downstairs not knowing that the house was empty.

" i will leave sly to sleep. that poor girl has been thru alot lately. i can take her out hunting with me later"

before wilkens heads out of the house she stops in at the kitchen to grab some jerky to take with her so she can eat on her way. on her way out of the kitchen she notices the burn marks on the walls from the wizards attack.

" i will have to fix that when i get back. it doesnt look like it will take much "

as wilkens heads out of the house she shuts the door quietly behind her and heads towards the coach.

" i think i will head to halas and get some snow leapards or something of that sort. "

:: as wilkens walks to the coach in freeport, a strange look comes over her face. she walks up to the coachman and asks for a horse to take to tethelin.

when she gets to tethelin she hands the horse over to the coachman and heads due north. her face is now completely blank. she doesnt respond to the coachman's questions of concern. :::

[Slyfoot M'Zors]

Slyfoot makes her way to Wilkens house, and goes up to her own room that Renee had given her. She gathers her pack and sharpens her daggers quickly.

“I should tell Wilkens that I am leaving. Ah, she knows how to reach me. I’ll just let her rest. Perhaps I will leave a note.”<br>
Slyfoot finishes packing her things, and walks down the stairs, placing a note on the table reading:

Family,
I must go away on account of personal affairs. I will be back in a few days.

“ At least I hope I’ll be back….” Slyfoot thinks to herself as she leaves the letter beneath the flower vase on the table.

Slyfoot snugs her robe about her shoulders, takes a last look at her home, and then faces the sticky dessert breeze.

“It is time now. I am coming for you. I will have my revenge….you shall never mock me again…..”<br>
Slyfoot mounts her horse at the coach and races off towards Orrgok, traveling deep into the night.

The wind screamed past the entrance to the cave. Inside, the light began to dim as huge dark clouds swirled in the sky. The air held the slight electric tinge that promised a thunderstorm.

The great bear watched the maelstrom outside from the sanctuary of her home. This was no ordinary storm. Argra closed her eyes. She sensed the shifting of the spirit world, as subtle as the plucking of a harp’s strings.

She turned and ambled to the pool of water at the back of her cave. After a few moments the color within began to shift, swirling like the clouds, the image within eventually congealing into a view of the ruined city of her birth. The shaman waited with a patience borne of 1,000 years, watching as the players came into view.
