An Assasins Past

::25 years ago Outskirts of Neriak::

" Listen up you two"Jwiz shouted at the two traines " This is no ordinary mission and why they decided that you two would be sent on this one i don't know but it you are to listen to me and follow my every command. Got it?"

" Tes Sir." the two shouted in unison

" Alright the target is the new head of the house U'dedne. He should be fairly easy to spot since he always wears a bright red robe so look for it. But there is a catch,ususaly he is surrounded by gaurds so we must hit him at an exclusive meeting of all the more important houses."Jwiz said calmly. " so any questions?."

"ummm yes, won't there be more gaurds gaurding this meeting?" asked one of the trainees.

" Yes but they will all be statoned outside of the building since this meeting is of some somewhat secret."

" Alright lets go" Jwiz said as the three snuk deep into neriak.

:: Jwiz and the two trainees are sitting on the roof of a building overlooking the building where the meeting was being held::

" So umm how are we gonna get in and kill..." THe young elf was inturupted by a whistleing noise and a scream of pain as the other trainee fell to the ground two arrows piercing his chest." No". the elf began to shout but stoped midway as two arrows struck hiim in his arm and leg he two fell to the ground.

" Damit " shouted Jwiz as he jumped to the ground and was surrounded by gaurds. Jwiz fought until one gaurd got behind him and struck him in the back of the head and he passed out.

Jwiz awakins finding himself being held by two gaurds in front of the twilight gates a pit f Lava in front of him and his two comrades being brought closer and closer to it until they were tossed in.

"Nooooooo" shouted Jwiz as he fought to break free from the gaurds that held him.

" Heh you don't have to worry about them,they arent dead. Oh no what happened to them is much worse than death...at least it is for an elf'. Muttered one of the gaurds holding Jwiz.

Jwiz looked in horror as two elven figures were lifted from the pit but they were not elven , they had become Dark Elves, there once golden skin now pure black,their blonde hair had become Jet Balck and their eyes now a deep red.

" An dwhat will you have me do with this one Lord U'Dedne" asked the gaurd.

"Hahahaha let him live to tell about what he has seen." U'Dedne turns and walks over to Jwiz puting his face in front of his and spits on him. " You are the worst of the lower races. You should be begging me to give you the same gift i gave them."

As he says this the gaurd hts him over the head again and drags his unconcious body to the River Sarene.

:: Inside the College of High Magic ::

"He knows too much " said the High Wizard Varian." He has seen heir darkest powers yet left with only two lumps on the back of the head,he must be tainted in some way."

:: The others at the meeting begin to whisper about what they think should be done.::

" It has been decided then we must eliminate the assasin Jwiz under the reasoning that he has been turned to Innoruk." The words rang through the building

The high wizard whispers to Lord Thex. " a wise decsion my lord, i shall have my best men on it."

Jwiz finds himself walking down the road to tethelin thinking about what he saw. A loud noise followed by an explosion inturupts him and causes him to instinctivly jump into a tree.

Another explosion and then a crash made by the tree Jwiz was siting in. Jwiz looking for the cause of the explosion notices three figures in black hooded cloaks, one with a bow ,one with wands and another with daggers.

'' hmph looks like they decided to kill me...oh well if they are foolish enough to try and kill me it is there own folly."

Jwiz jumps into the air wands pointed at the threee elves " Sorry but you must die." A blue beam of energy blasts from the wands hiting two of the assasins killin them instantly.

The finale assasin ,the one wielding wands leaped into the air, his wands glowed a deep red and began to glow. A red beam fired from the wands headiing straight for Jwiz. the wizard skillfuly dodges and counters with his own spell. This blast hit the assasin but as he fell he cast one finale spell hitting Jwiz in the arm.

Jwiz now running in the direction of fayspires arm hanging uselessly from his side. As Jwiz reaches the city he leaps atop the College if High Magic and proedes to blow a hole in the roof droping down into the liveing quarters of the High Wizard.

Jwiz puts his wands to the wizards head. " Those were yiur men! Why were they after me?" Jwiz whispered. " you willl tell meor i will kill you simple enough."

" They...they decide that you were tainted and that you must be destroyed." The High Wizard said shakeily.

jwiz looks at the wizard in shock. " What i was there most trusted assasin, i have killed more for you than any other."

" I...I am sorry there was nothing i could do."

" Here is the deal i will live here and you will leave me in peace or i will kill you the concept is quite simple. Yes?"

Jwiz leaps out the hole he created and begins to walk down the road to Tethelin again to think about not only his last job but also what had just taken place.
