The assassin frowned. Playing the O'Seth woman's games only meant more time wasted. Letting those three live would only mean trouble sometime in the future. But, his main goal here was to help recover the child.
As the three of them rode on, he followed behind Phelan and Naldany. Every now and then, Naldany or Phelan would look behind them to make sure he was still there.

Phelan smiled, he had found a bit of joy in toying with the three would be thugs, what scared him is that he wasn't ashamed of it either. His swords yearned for Keyra's blood and he wanted to make sure that they would have it.
Phelan lashed his horse until it was at a dead sprint. Mercy, Mercy is weakness, I should have killed her when I had the chance..... Just like I should have killed Nikkii when I had the chance... now I am a prisoner, a slave in the O'seth house. Phelan thought as he rode on.

They was nearing the inn and the hour was growing late. The assassin seemed to be trustable however he still frightened her but Phelan seemed comfatable with him so she would act the same. Aramis would spend another night in the care or a crazed elf. Soon Adaun and that other man from the house of Fenn'dal could be seen.
" Phelan... is that your sister up ahead?"
Naldany noticed the large bridge ahead of them as they rode closer to them.
"We should rest my sweet Keyra could not have travelled much further..... small children need their rest and will not be the most silent of things."
SD came into the room and looked to Mackleeric then down to the elf.
" Keyra isn't far from here... I can tell she only went a bit further south from here. She is my hunt and I owe her for the lives she has taken and pain inflicted apon me."
He removed his helmet showing his missing eye and multiple scars.
" I can smell her and she has something with her.. a child? That must be the one that has a high priestest of Neriak furious."

Aramis became unruly as Keyra fled the manor south towards Forkwatch. She ran with the baby for atleast an hour till she herd a familiar voice call to her.
" My little hunter you got the baby successfully I see. But you had best silence the little rodent before those fools find him by the noise."
" I'm trying but his kicks hurt and he won't stop crying.... I want to pull this charm off of him but I don't know its importance."
Loveless took the child from her and examined the necklace on him. Aramis stopped crying as he looked at Loveless in terror. He handed the child back to Keyra and took her hand.
" Its a ward ...... its binding his magic somewhat. but we'll take the house from those fishermen in the village ahead."

Phelan ignored Naldany's question as they rode up to Adaun and Lecious. Phelans ice blue eyes glared at the rode ahead before looking to his Sister and Leciuos.
"Sister, glad to see that you are ok." Phelan said without feeling.
"Lecious... how far away are they?" Phelan asked.
Phelan clenched his jaw in anticipation and his neck tensed. He clenched his hands around the hilts of his swords and a fire burned behind his blue eyes. He looked almost feral with his hair whipping about in the wind and his frantic look.
"Not far ahead Phelan, but they are getting farther away, but it seems thier progress has slowed considerably. Please remember it isn't like I can tell you exactly how far away they are." Lecious said.
Phelan looked from Lecious to Adaun and then back to Naldany and the silent one as they rode up.

They met up with the others as they crossed the bridge and into the court yard of the inn. Naldany dismounted the horse and stood looking into the inn. There was a large bloodstain on the ground outside that only looked a few hours old.
" I think she's been here..... Adaun would you look inside before we go in she's not familiar with you."

"I can go in, but I seriously doubt she is still here." Adaun said. She glanced at Phelan and then to Naldany. She was taken aback by the abrupt changes in her brother since this ordeal had started. He was starting to become the typical Tier Dal in her opinion. Maybe the events that had recently taken place in his life had jaded him or maybe this was always his true nature and he was repressing it before either way the change was becoming obvious.
Adaun drew her sword and walked inside.

Mi'anna strugged to get up out of her bed her stomach area still bandaged up and a bit bloody still. most of the people had gone to sleep. She wandered down the stairs and looked for her back pack. A woman with a sword came into the inn and caught her attention. The teir'dal woman looked mean that cape that was on her armor and the way she carried herself showed she could be nobility. Mi'anna worked up a bit of courage and stood in the woman's path.
" Miss ..... do you know of the O'seth house?"

"Yes I know of the O'seth house...I am an emissary of the house." Adaun said to the human girl standing before her.
Adaun instictively measured her up as an opponent. She looked weak, and was ever so slightly hunched with a protective hand over her stomach. A stomach injury, that will slow her down if she tries to strike at me, Adaun thoguht. No visible weapons, she must fight hand to hand, keep her at a sword length, she told herself.
Adaun relaxed her muscles but was ready to tense them all on a moments notice and spring into action. A light breeze came through the door and Adaun's golden hair gently waved in the breeze. Adaun gazed into the short girls eyes waiting for her response.

" I had a child in my possesion ........ Aramis was his name, an elf girl had left him behind at the pilgram inn near Freeport. She couldn't handle him at first but I had fed him atleast then some people attacked her in the night. I brought him to here and she attacked me after i was told she was a criminal."
Mi'anna sat down in a chair when the pain started to get to her.
" She turned into a werewolf and overpowered me and another. There is two other people here that can track her down but won't leave until morning"

"Why would you tell me this?" Adaun said, immediately suspiscious of the girl. Humans could be even more devious than the Tier Dal, at least with the Tier Dal you knew that you were being lied to. Adaun stepped closed to the girl, she seemed in no condition to fight.

" That elf claimed the child was marked for death by the O'seth house.. I thought she was telling the truth at first but then when I noticed how surly the child acted towards her and not to me I knew there was something wrong with her tale."
She gazed at Adaun noticing that she wasn't a wizardress and sighed a bit.
" She told me a woman named Naldany and a man named Phelan was his assassins ... but I bet that isn't true either."
Naldany walked into the inn shortly after and stood behind Adaun and looked at the small human.

Adaun turned toward Naldany.
"She has news of Aramis, you may also want to thank her, she cared for Aramis and tried to keep Keyra from getting a hold of her, I am going to go get Phelan, appearently there are some people here who are leaving in the morning to track Keyra.... Be nice to her." Adaun said as she walked out of the inn.

" You cared for my son did you?"
Mi'anna looked at Naldany and her eyes widened.
" Yes I did..... Are you Naldany?"
" Yes... and I see that wench injured you as well... I'm sure my husband and aunt also feel grateful for what you done in slowing her down."
Mi'anna smiled a bit and stood up again. She had never been near a teir'dal before much less ones of a noble house. Naldany walked past her and looked about the inn's surroundings.
" One of the poeple I mentioned to you friend said she headed south.... and the road is full of the gaurdsmen from Qeynos.... perhaps I'll show you them in the morning... that elf took my backpack as well and I can't go home till I have it back."
Naldany frowned at the thought of waiting but had little choice since she was tired as well and no clue where to look in the reigion.
" Fine let me speak with my husband outside....."

Outside the inn Adaun approached Phelan, he heard her but didn't turn his eyes were glued to the road.
"Phelan...?" Adaun said quietly.
"What?" Phelan said with an edge to his voice. He looked at Adaun and she cringed. That look in his eyes was piercing a wild fire buring beneath the ice blue shields.
"Will you come inside? There is a woman who.." Adaun wasn't able to finish, Phelan cut her off.
"No! I will not sit by, idle, doing nothing while my child is being dragged across the country side by a wretched wench! I will go on tonight even if all of you stay." Phelan shouted.
"Phelan...what has gotten into you?" Adaun asked.
"Me? What is wrong with me? Nothing I am feeling fine, like myself. We are Seladria's, have you forgotten what that means? Are we people to be trifled with? let alone people to kidnap from? No! We are a family of warriors, we settled disputes by our sword. That spirit thrives in me even if it doesn't in you." Phelan shouted at Adaun again.
Adaun grabbed him by the leg and pulled him from the horse. Anger flared in her eyes as she pulled his face within inches of hers.
"Don't test me brother, we have gone through this routine before." She said with a growl.
Phelan smiled wickedly.
"So there is still some fire left in you...Good. Will you help me get my son back? I will not wait till morning." Phelan said.
"If that is what you wish then that is what will happen brother." She said.
"Then it is decided." Phelan said with a glance to the Tier Dal that rarely spoke. "Lecious is with us if you will alow it and you will watch my wife...." Phelan said quickly lowering his voice as Naldany came out of the inn.
