heres a little story from one of my very 1st encounters! I hope you enjoy!
Travel back to a land long ago, before the ever-widening frontiers, and inclusion of the vast planes of demise....This is the story of Siliskor, or should i say rather the story of a young band of adventurers, seeking fame and fortune to destroy the then undefeatable black dragon of Elephant Graveyard. Nearby towns of Gentar's Mine and Blackwater cried out for help, they feared the coming menace and rightfully so.......
Words spread throughout Tunaria, "Great oppurtunity, great pay, fame and fortune await!" Many came representing their respective guilds but only a select few would be chosen for this task. 1st to be called upon was Omekin a great healer and rugged tank, famous for his exploits/destruction of Lady Vox and the lowly Skahyir. Next to follow would be Kero, Sylan, Shina, and Magdalina, each respective dealers of great damage. The job of keeping Pomus Magemell busy was that of Xiann a powerful and fairly large Shaman from the north, organizing the kill was Infinity the once long time leader of the infamous band of adventurers known as Eternal Eclipse. Accompanying them would be a host of healers and spectators, eagerly standing by to help.
Infinity assembled the team in the Elephant Graveyard, preparations were made as the preists gave out blessings. Everyone was in place save one...the druid Cana was nowhere to be found. Anxiously they waited until they decided she had abandoned them....The fight ensued...Xiann worked hard keeping Pomus the caster at bay, while Omekin and the rest attempted to engage the great black dragon himself. All was well as they began to cut the monstrous beast, and then somethin went horribly wrong...The dragon lashed out with a mighty aura greatly weakening the band of adventurers, the out pouring cries caught Xiann's attention and the caster Pomus broke away and began aiding the dragon. One by one they fell to the flames and furiosity of the dragon and his pet, they had lost all control. Magdalina stood alone beside the bodies around her fear overcame her as hope dwindled. Then over the hills above the grave a dim green light was seen growing larger quickly, breifly the fight stopped as Magdalina, Siliskor and Pomus stood awaiting this unknown captivating glow, then suddenly from above them a great black wolf came leaping over the gorge right at the dragon, it was Cana. The dragon enraged lashed out violently with his claws knocking Magdalina to the ground, now Cana stood alone with this battle scared beast breathing on her, she new she would have to act and soon or fall as well...Quickly she burst out running right to Pomus, he expected an attack and readied himself only to find he was soon bound in place and could not move...now Cana turned her attention to the massive black chest loaming over her, fear took her and she slowly peered up into his hateful eyes. Spell after spell she issued forth calling upon the skies and gods themselves to destroy the beast, long was the battle and Cana was barly holding on......Suddenly a voice was heard, "Hail Cana!" he cried it was Kero he was back, then another "Hail Cana!" 1 by 1 the hailing came forth as they cried out her name!!! She had held off the dragon long enough for them all to return. The band regrped as Cana issued forth her last spell and fell. With a great yell the wizard Magadalina came running back away from the priests, picked up cana's staff and back into battle, Kero charged with his swords held high, soon the others rallied behind them screaming battle cries and attacking viciuosly. The dragon cried out, but to no avail, Pomus was now cowering away while the adventurers swarmed on Siliskor. Magdalina held Cana's staff high above and summoned all her energy issueing forth a massive lightning bolt slaying the beast. All rejoiced and celebrated the kill and the wealth obtained. All recollected and stories soon spread amougst them about the mysteriuos glow and phantom warrior that leaped from high above onto Siliskor, not many knew whom it was save Kero and Magdalina who had seen her for themselves...Cana never returned.
