(This story picks up from the middle of the Assassination of Slyfoot M’Zors. It is the vision she has right after she meets Jwiz in his room in the Freeport in).
As the darkness passed over Slyfoot, she relaxed into a state she was beginning to get used to: the faint feeling she fell into just before a vision would occupy her mind.
The vision went by in a series of flashes. First she saw Jwiz. She was talking to him, but her lips were not moving and she was no where near him. Then she heard Jwiz, and saw him speek, but again, she was no where near him. Then she saw herself in the tundras of the ever frosted region. Then Zug slugging down a jug of ale, then him spitting it out as Slyfoot talked to him to, but she was no where near him and no one else could hear it. Then she saw several people, in several places: Rhabuka stiring a smoldering pot of soup, Ellindar singing away to a flock of fainting females, Jwiz just out side the house of his bother, a flash of red eyes, a small Teir’Dal screaming in a dark room, a dwarf with strong arms, all of which she talked to, but was no where near them, and no one else could hear her speak save for the individual she was talking to. Then she saw a final face, a face horribly destroyed from the tiny tearing teeth of acid. That face lingered for a while and then a bright light, and she saw a small tent in the northern tundra. And the vision was over.
“Jwiz?”<br>“Yes?”<br>“How long has it been?”
