What a Story Line Is
Many times, you may hear people refer to a Story Line (sl). A story line can be one of three things: A story about your character, a story you create with your character and other people’ s characters, or a quest that someone in the RPA has given you to complete. Here I will go into a little more detail:
1. A story about you character-
When you first introduce yourself in the census office, you can write a short story about your character describing their past. This is a story line, or the beginning story line of your character. You can continue to write about your character, and it does not have to involve anyone else but yourself. (Example: Tavern Scoundrels ~ Songweavers Tavern)
2. A Story you create with your character and other people’s characters-
This happens when you and an other player(s) get involved with a dialogue that turns into a story. This can include you and another character completing a quest together, having an argument, or doing something with that other character what ever it may be. Also, it may involve several people. (Example: The strength of Friendship ~ Songweavers Tavern. This was a story line lived out through dialogue using AIM)
3. A quest that someone in the RPA has given you to complete.
Some people in our association have created their own quests. These are not the quests given to your character by NPCs in the game, but instead they are created by a member of the RPA. This is called a Story line as well, because even though it is a quest, your character still lives through it and a story can still be written about it. (Example: The Spiritual Leader of the lost Tribes of Rallos Zek under Repeatable Storylines (Sls) ~ OOC council )
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
