So what games is everyone in these days.
I ended my long relation ship (and Station Pass) with SOE over some really bad customer service a few months back. Oddly enough I was trying to update my credit card so I could continue my subscription. So I now have a shelf full of EQ, EQ2, and of course EQOA going un-used.
I have been playing WoW but mostly bouncing around servers and alts. My RL best friend and I play together but never really seem to find guilds we like. Looking at joining a guild based around a George R.R. Martin fan site on Venture Company if it gets off the ground.
I have been playing with Guild Wars a little but haven't actually met too many people in game so it doesn't hold my interest.
I am still on FFXI since NA launch but just log on to play with my wife (who has gotten hooked on it) once or twice a week.
Other than that I just downloaded trials of DDO, Lineage 2, and the Archlord Beta. I played the Archlord beta a few hours tonight and it was a lot of fun but more like Diablo then EQOA.
Have copies of DAoC (seems like the RP possibilities in this game should be great but I've never even loaded it) and CoV that I got for free for a magazine sub just collecting dust on the shelf.

I know that Gaien is on WoW and is looking to start the RPA guild on his server, seems like there is a lot of the RPA on WoW. Gaien has played guild wars, not sure how much he does now and I know he just got D & D online. Anyways, as for me I am gameless at the moment and probably will be until next june. By then I intend to be on WoW though.

I tried to play FFXI but it's just not right for me. It required a little too much of a commitment and it felt a little too slow. Since giving that up I've been playing EQOA again. The servers are pretty dead but I still find groups. In October Phantasy Star Universe is coming out and I plan on giving that a try. Still strictly a consol gamer so I won't be playing anything for PC.
If anybody wants to make a WoW board like the EQOA board, and they have the insfrastructure more or less though out we can talk about making one. We sort of set the site up so that we could expand that way of we want too.

I still have an active EQOA account but i rarely log on, I played WoW for awhile but i need to renew my sub. We have EQ2 but i don't play it. Got Guild War recently and am planning on trying the Lineage 2 demo soon.
Definitely going to pick up Phantasy Star Universe.
I have to agree with Kyrinn on Final Fantasy, that game got boring after a while.
Also have X Box Live my gamertag is Xearo Nine

I could definatly see how FFXI could get very boring if you are not with a good group of people (I was lucky enough to play with RL friends). I just fell in love with the fairy tale like feel of the world. I also loved the strict team dynamic, it was really a team sport.
To me though all MMOs are ultimatly boring if not for the people. The people make the game. Only they can make the world feel real to me.

i am currently waiting for city of villians an city of heros to show up at the store, ordered them a few days ago. ive gone from ps2 ( until a new one shows up that can catch my interest again) to pc games. ive looked at WoW and a few others but so far its been CoH and CoV that have my interest.
to be honest, i got out of gaming for awhile there and it wasnt until this year that ive been seriously thinking about starting up again. the b/f plays the CoH an he said i could make a char or 2 an try the game out. well, that was the same mistake he made when he introduced me to eqoa...lol. i think my game time on that one was bout 3 yrs, not exactly sure anymore. so not sure where im headin in the near future. only time will tell thats for sure
