My wonderful wife and I had the pleasure of Batman Begins via the IMAX experience. We both thought it was excellent. It is amazing what a good director can do. Everything was developed, and it left you with a movie where the suspension of disbelief was akin to a normal action flick like Die Hard rather than any of the original Batmans. He even tackled such issues as...boy that batcave looks nice...how could someone have built it in secrecy. Anyway, this movie was actually presented in IMAX opposed to the many posers which are shot normally but still shown on IMAZ screens. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I was pleased with this movie and can only hope that the Fantastic Four is half as good.

I have heard everyone saying that this was a great movie. Call me crazy but I am not overly psyched or excited to go see it. I am a big fan of the Batman movie with Michael Keaton. I am hoping to see it sometime this next weekend. Anyone know about how long it is?

Back in 1989 I couldn't wait to see Batman. Today I don't know how I feel about going to see the new movie. I like Batman but after those Bad sequels I can't seem to get excited.

There are some corny scenes in the new Batman, but on a whole it is a great movie and I think it is by far the best Batman movie yet.

yes but the corn is limited, I thought Liam Neeson did a fantastic job as well, it is good to see him in a situation where he had all of these big time historical drama roles ala Oscar Schindler, Michael Collins...and now has become Qui Gon Jinn and Ducart(sp?). BTW was that Rutger Hauer as the CEO? Come a long way from the Hitcher and Ladyhawke lol!!! It was good to see Jim Gordon fleshed out complete with crying future Batgirl in the one scene.

What Corney scenes? I thought it was an awesome movie, I hope they make a few more to negate all the lame ones that were made before this.
