So who is going to see the new movie? We'll be heading out to the theaters on Sunday. Anyone planning to go opening night? Anyone planning to go opening night in costume?
Here's hoping they make it dark enough that we all can finally forget about that Jar Jar Binks creature!

The little woman (her term not mine) and I are going to see it tonight. She has just seen them all for the first time and enjoyed them (they resemble the Asian movies she is used to in a lot of ways).
Not going in costume. My roomates girlfriend wanted us all to go to costume. My fiance nixed the idea when she learned that we were going to make her Yoda (4'8" puts weird phrases at the end of sentances) because she wanted to be Chewie

an whats wrong with the cute jar jar biggs LOL!!! This is a funny statement, and makes me a meganerd...since you combined two Star Wars characters....puppetboy Jar Jar Binks and Biggs a childhood friend of Luke Skywalker and leader of one of the assaults on the original death star! . LOL!!! Can you tell that I was an impreesionable 7 year old when Star Wars came out....I remember fighting with my family who wanted to see Rollercoaster in the movie theater instead!!!!

LOL!!! That is what people are saying....I find it ironic that the majority favorites, cited are The Empire Strikes Back and Revenge of the Sith....this explains all the dark elves running around.
Can't wait to see it on Sunday.
Though I am still looking forward to Batman a little more!

I sooooooo can't wait to see it!!!!!! Wilkens, I thought Jar Jar Binks was ultra-annoying. Actually, I suppose you can say he's responsible for the downfall of the Jedi in some way, as it was his suggestion in "Clone Wars" to give all power to the Chancellor. Stupid Jar Jar From the buzz I'm hearing, Lucas can be forgiven for Jar Jar lol!

It was soooooo good!! I'd say it is now my second favourite out of the whole series. I understand why you're seeing it a second time, Phelan!! There's so much going on in that first scene alone.
So what were the most memorable scenes for those who saw it?
I can't choose just one: (1) The hunting of the Jedi after Imperial order 66 -- no heroic deaths here (2) Anakin walking into the room with the younglings (3) Vader's rage at learning he killed Padme
These were just a few. Kudos to Lucas for not shying away from making a dark movie!

As for the memorable scenes I have to say, no other fight scene in all of star wars can beat the Obi Wan and Anakin fight scene, it was intense and emotional. Vader stepping from the table in his entire ensemble and giving the most cliche of movie lines after finding out Padme's fate, which I loved. The first Space battle scene was unreal, I have to say probably the most intense and coolest space fight scene in any of the movies also.
