Phelan, I bet you are excited as I am about the upcoming Elektra movie. Like I said, I have probably lost the continuity battle in regards to Marvel and DC. I can date my absolute comic reading height as being the time period between X-Men 93 - 225 (LOL it is funny but I still think of Wolverine and Storm as "the new" Xmen)...anyway, one of the best SL's was the Elektra SL in Daredevil with Bullseye...but also the miniseries (with Bill Sienkiewicz) so I am really looking forward to seeing how the movie goes. I believe it will be a mix of Kill Bill (which I thought was awesome!) and the upcoming Batman Begins series...where she gets her ninja training. Having Jennifer Garner (of Dude Where's my Car? fame) doesn't hurt either. What do ya think? Also I have looked at some of the sites for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie and was not too impressed.

I thought the Daredevil movie probably suffered a bit, coming out after Spiderman which truly kicked butt. That might be why I'm not excited about "Elektra".
I think the next X-Men movie should be good, provided they can keep the remainder of the cast together. Halle Berry is out but hopefully the others will return.

The upcoming Elektra movie looks good. I didn't know who she was before I watched Daredevil. I hear Batman Begins will be great, though I don't feel to exicted yet. I was more exicted back then when Batman 1989 movie came out. Hulk 2 seems to be the one I hoping they make. EleKtra looks real good.

I have some mixed feelings about Elektra, I hope its good, but it looks to me like the focus of the movie is special effects. I just hope the SL is solid and not a weak SL wich they try to renforce with really neat special effects. From everything I have heard the new Batman movie looks like it may be the best comic book movie yet, I haven't seen the previews yet, but from what I am told it looks awesome. I disappointed to hear Zug, that you are not impressed with the Fantasic Four movie, again a movie I had hopes for being good but I wasn't holding my breath. I haven't seen anything for it. I think part of the problem is that they are trying to make sure they can get these movies out before fan intrest drops in the whole comic book movie thing, so they are throwing them together and not taking the time that has gone into some of the previous ones, such as spiderman and the X-men, or even Dare Devil. So there is my two cents on the subject

EleKtra looks real good. LOL I remember coming home from college and meeting a friend to see the one in 1989 (we had to bring my friend's little brother). Did you enjoy the Hulk? There were parts I liked and parts I didn't....I really didn't care too much for the ending...besides...where was the piano music when he goes from town to town....Basically I thought there was alot of potential that wasn't realized...though I thought Ang Lee did a great job directing...like when he broke the screen into comic book panels when the military was assaulting the Hulk. I wish they would make more high quality Fantasy Movies like the LOTR. However they would be expensive to do right.

The begining was to slow, though I do like origins in movies. I liked it most when The hulk escaped from the military base and destroyed alot of stuff. ;D I also liked the ending when he fought the villian of the movie who remided me of Absorbing man. I'd like them to make Hulk 2 because "there is a lot of potential" for the movie being better now that the Hulk's origin is done. Bringing in the Abomination to fight the Hulk, destroying everything in their path, it would be a great fight.

I was dissapointed with the Hulk, I thought that is was rather drawn out and it wasnt' the classic origin. I do agree with you though that a second movie has a lot more potential to be really good. I really liked the comic book film style, I thought that was very neat.
I would really like to see a green arrow movie or maybe a flash movie would be pretty neat. I would love to see a second Dare Devil movie, Ben Afleck floored me in the role of Matt Murdock, I was so impressed that he pulled it off.
I really belive any comic book movie could be good as long as they pick the right story line from the comics.

I just hope, that if they make a second Hulk movie it doesn't go down the Rick Jones path. Ghostrider would make a cool movie too... Halle Berry says that she wanted more camera time...(after all she is a best actress winner ::tongue in cheek: . I say give her more time...and better yet put her as the 80's Ororo and give her a mohawk. Just don't bring in Jubilee or Gambit (I never understood the fascination with Gambit) and let rogue fight and steal Ms. Marvel's powers! And as for the fight with Nick Nolte at the end...why didn't they just have him fight Abman...why did they have to make his dad part...this brings up the question. Why do these people think they are better than Stan Lee? ~Excelsior
