IC = In character OOC = Out of Character
Playing In game:
When talking out of character, put the entirety of the out of character statement within paranthesis, (like this).
When showing an emotion or action with your character in game, put it within pairs of colons. ::smiles:: ::sits down::
These are a few rules that have been around for the longest time, that help keep everyone on the same page while playing.
Posting on these forums:
Same rules apply as In game. The exception to this, is when you are in a designated OOC area, in which case no paranthesis are necessary.
