Yes your right Phelan, maybe they would add a role play preferred server. I hear they got a lot of cool stuff for the roleplayers on the PC, like being able to tag yourself as a roleplayer so other roleplayers can know.

Yeah I hear ya. I like the fact that on the role playing server not everyone automatically speaks common, so a troll and elf cant' understand each other right away. you have to learn langauges. it is really neat, in my opinion.

I like that as well. Makes sense that they would each have a different language. I like that because it makes it hard for different races to group. Makes everybody stick more with their own kind and its part of learning and meeting new races.

I totally agree with you. It would really bring out the fantasy setting and the world. It would be very hard for a Tier Dal and a elf to group then. It bugs me also to know end when you play a role playing game such as eq and ppl are like hey wat up? Yo you wanna group wit me? But then again I love role playing so... anyways dont' know whre i was going with that lol.

People often send me /tells to ask if I want to group with them, most of the time I tell them I prefer RPers only, sometimes I shout 'NOOOO! The voices have returned in my head! AAAAGGGHHHH!'
Here are some of my favorite lines from people when I tell them I prefer RPers instead of shouting about more voices in my head.
"What's 'RPers'?" > "Roleplayers, please" >> "WTF is that sh!t?" or >>"Dude, this is a game..." >"No it's not, quit living in a dream world!" (They get confused by that reply) or >> "Yo foo, jst grp wit me man, I gotta high level char that we can use to gank these mothas and sk8 thru this thing" >I typicly don't reply to this sort of dialouge, it would almost demean myself just to answer them
And I do on occassion play a female character. What drives me nuts is everyone trying to get into her 'virtual-pants' with emotes!
Anymoo, way off subject there but... oh yeah!
*Clears throat* I think it would be a great idea to offer RP only servers with language barriers and the like with an option to move your characters from server to server...

Just curious Phel -- how are you enjoying EQPC? I've never played a PC MMORPG before.

I have the same problem with it. The box has one thing listed for requirements but as soon as you install it and update it makes changes to the graphics engine that mean you need a better graphics card. I was confused by this till I called customer service. Turns out most 16 bit graphics cards dont support all the features it needs even though thats what the box requires.

i had to buy a brand new video card for the game and im just tryin to member the card i bought. but it wouldnt work until i bought it. well it did but oy the graphics and some of the stuff wouldnt work properly.
if you go to the eqoa site and theres a section you can go to that has a list of the compatible video cards for the game.
