It's difficult to think of an actual comic book super hero (the new justice league Green Lantern kicks ass in a Samuel L Jackson kind of way though) since I never really got into the super hero thing when I was a kid. I've never really picked up the interest later in life either - I read a lot of comic books but they're not of the super hero variety. With my selection limited to the New Justice League and Teen Titans on cartoon network I have to say its got to be Robin from Teen Titans. It had to be between him and Batman since they have basicaly the same power: being a total bad ass. Robin isn't always sitting in the dark feeling sorry for himself because his parents are dead though.

Isn't it amazing how they've actually managed to make Robin look cool on "Teen Titans"? It's not a word I would have normally associated with him.

Spider man is cool and all, but still, under all those super powers is a scrany little boy. Under then the bat, now that is a man!

Dare Devil all the way and yes I liked him before the movie came out. How can you not like a blindman that can whoop the .....well you know....out bad guys, that is pretty cool. I really also like the fact that his only super power is hightened senses, so yeah there is my vote.

Personally I didn't care for the movie...but yes pretty much when Frank Miller redid Daredevil back in the 80s it was an amazing transformation! Some of the best stuff ever...the apocalyptic battle between Bullseye and Elektra was awesome and it was back when you could tell that Frank Miller's biggest comic art influence was Neal Adams (this is seen in Bill Sienkiewicz's early art in Moon Knight)...lastly (yes I was quite the geek in High School, collected comic books and played D&D with buddies at lunch then went on to play football and lacrosse after school) one of the strangest things is that Eastman and Laird decided to use the origin of Daredevil to also cause the origin of the famous pizza eating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (after the radioactive canister bonked Matt Murdock...it leaked on the ground and created the Turtkes) however I do think that before Frank Miller I used to think of DD as a poor man's Batman.
Note: I have probably not read a Daredevil book since the cover price went over 60 cents.

* looks around and speaks very quietly * I still read DD and it is till really good, I started after I read the Kevin Smith storyline, absolutely loved it. Anyhow you are right he is kinda the poor mans batman, for marvel at least, he has always been a "b" superhero, but he will always be an "A" in my book.

lol I hope I didn't imply that being a "b" superhero is an insult. One of my favorites is the Silver Surfer who is an "a" in terms of power but a "b" as far as popularity...poor guy. And yes I have been a proponent of DD but I really didn't like how Bullseye was portrayed in the movie. He was way more reckless than he has been shown in the comics (at least way back when I read)...Did you read the Kevin Smith Green Arrow? I have always had a soft spot for old Ollie...and for Hawkeye for that matter...

No I havent been able to get my hands on a copy, I am a green arrow fan as well. I kinda like the more obscure ones that for fans are more "b" superheros but they are really great, the only reason they didn't make it big was they had corny villians.

ok ive had a lot of time to think bout this one, since it has to be a comic book super hero my choice is
wolverine, not for being such a handsome devil, but for the fact that he has the coolest weapons in the world.
