I got this idea when I was traveling along the Highpass trade road to Freeport as my shaman character. (this is only an idea by the way nothing official set in stone or anything) but I was thinking, maybe a "Highpass Marathon" or something.
From Qeynos, you make a human character, find the quickest route to the various guard houses on the Highpass trade road. some of the would have a character, (like a guild master) there to give the first racer to arrive an item as proof of the visit. Not all guard towers would have someone there, the goal being to get five pickups first, and delivering them to a player in Freeport. And it's VERY easy to add a storyline to this.
Oh, and no coaching would be allowed at HighPass hold.
I mean, since I joined thought it be a good idea for me to give my two cents. so, any feedback on this suggestion?
Good? Bad? Ugly?
(if it's been done before, or the basic theory, (race across Tunaria) has been done to much, that's ok then)

We have had several events like this, the last one Gorgarr the quick won over Littelmack.
I was thinking that the trial of Keyra might be in the works if she is willing to submit herself to the authority of the courts.

I vote for Hallarn to play the district attorney of Tunaria ;D
Surely a holy knight of Brell has a strong sense of justice and fairness, right?
Right?

I'm sure that Hallarn would be completely fair and impartial.

All right, the cast so far... Keyra -- The Defendant Loveless -- The Co-Defendant Naldany and Phelan -- The Plaintiffs Hallarn -- Prosecutor Elindar -- Defense attorney ("If the diaper don't fit, you must acquit!") Severedamage -- Witness for the Plantiffs Nikkii -- The Executioner We'll just need to fill a few more key roles, especially the judge! Angrol, you might be a good choice since you don't seem biased to either side. Let us know when would be a good time for the trial -- maybe sometime this weekend?

Now we need a group of 4 who are not in the guild to be the jury.

I don't know them anyway, can't have any disliking for someone you don't know, can you? but the only thing that might be a problem is that Angrol is currently on Bogman's pass. (assuming this will be ingame) So, one question, will this be like "chat role playing"? Or "in person role playing"?#nosmileys

Hi all,
Yes, we can definitely make this in the evening. Let's try to figure out the best date where most people can attend. Of course, it's absolutely crucial that Keyra can be there lol!
What are good nights for everyone? Would Friday or the weekend be best?
Any suggestions for venue where both good and evil characters can attend? We could pick a place in Highpass, Freeport (very busy place tho, might get bothered with duel invites!), or a druid circle out in the wilderness.
Angrol, I anticipate this will be a face to face event, so wherever we decide to have it, I'll make sure you can get there! Rhabuka is speedy for her size.
We would also like to have some outside jurors, so if you have any good buddies that you feel might enjoy this, please invite them. We'd like to give Keyra a fair trial as possible.

Despite Nobel's banishment (I am sure that the other gnomes will be understanding due to her role in saving Norrath from two world destroying entities.) I believe we should maybe look for a place in Klick A'Non.
And yes...I will be available to come up with a defense for Keyra. Though I am hardpressed to aid a villainess such as Keyra. Maybe perchance I have been hasty in my judgement. I will gather with my "client" and prepare a defense as soon as I see the charges she has been arraigned under.

HighBourne might work if your still looking for a place to have it. Not to busy, plus the have a kinda stage like area that might work for something like this. The only problem is, not sure if evil characters will be attacked.
Plus, it's easy for me to get there, I have coach.
Druid circle idea might work, there's one East of Surefall I can easily get too.
Anyway, my two cents.
Oh, and I'm (as I mentioned before) online usually every afternoon, I'm just not on as late on Wednesdays, have a deal with my boss for morning shifts most of the week, and a night shift from six to 8 (or more, depending.). But yeah. My point is, most nights are good for me, though Saturday might be best, we'll see.
EDIT: I'm back in Qeynos now, by the way.
