The U'dedne's stood firm outside the archers range along the wall. It was a cold stand off that seemed to last for hours before a dark elf stepped from the back of the formation and roceeded forward. He removed his helmet revealing himself to be the Scornblade himself.
"I want to speak with one of this village's leaders on a matter..... I have a few request of them."
This took Olantar off gaurd for a minute but then regained his senses. "And just what would those reques be as you put it?"
"Please I promise you no harm will come to them I'm not hear on my cousin's behalf." He uttered. "If I am correct.... one of them knows me well and I told him that we had unfinished matters."

The doomseeker pondered what he had learned since his return to Moradhim. The Priest of Brell had led him to a young beardling who had witnessed the attack from its start and had hidden in a mining cart to save himself. The beardling had described the attackers and their fighting styles in great detail.
"So do ye know who these attackers were?", asked the priest. "Ye acted strangely when I mentioned the red hair".
"Red hair is nae a common thing amongst the Teir'dal. I once knew a Red haired cleric. Very powerful. But the description the beardling gave is nae her. The fightin style he described does sound familiar though, someone else I once knew. Nae a Teir'dal but she did use disguises."
"Well who are they then?" asked the priest. "Ye seem as if ye have an idea of who this might have been."
" The Teir'dal cleric was the leader of the house O'seth though I've heard ruour that shes dead now. The one who had a fightin style like the one the beardlig described was her adopted daughter."
"So if she is nae Teir'dal then where can she be found?" asked the priest.
" I dinnae know", answered the doomseeker. "But I do know someone who may".
The doomseeker left the priest and headed for the stables. "Elindar me old friend", he thought to himself. "Tis time I paid ye a visit".

Elindar knew that most teir'dal's words could not be trusted. They could be just looking for a hostage to get what they really want.
"I am one of what you seek what would you have of me or my family?" Elindar spoke boldly.
"No it's not you he is one of the indigo brothers." The scornblade responded. "Phelan..."
Elindar frowned when he said that, it was this time that Darlena had came up to join both Elindar and Olantar. The scornblade raised an eyebrow when he saw the red-haired teir'dal thinking it was the denouncer before noticing she was one of the daughters.
"You there..... woman." He shouted. "Go an fetch your lord Phelan." He spoke attempting to provoke her.
Darlena went to reach her beheader but Elindar softly stayed her hand.
"He is dealing with another matter right now but she is one of the ladies of this village and is to be shown more respect." Elindar said.
The scornblade smirked for a moment. "I can tell that she is the more violent of the two heirs my mistake for thinking she was the timid one. I tell you one of my request.... I would like to test the devil-elf, I know you are in contact with her..... other wise known as Keyra.

Hallarn could see the towers of Fayspires rising in the distance. As he rode he approached a horse and cart moving slowly ahead of him. As he got closer to the horse and cart he began to get an odd feeling about the driver of the cart. The driver was wearing a hooded cloak that prevented Hallarn from seeing his face but as Hallarn came up beside him it was the hands that sent a chill down Hallarns spine, the dark blue hands of a Teir'dal. Displaying unusual agility Hallarn leapt from his mount onto the cart, sending the driver sprawling through the air onto the ground. Before the driver could get up the doomseeker was standing over him hammer rasied threateningly.
"State yer business, why is a Teir'dal merchant riding to Fayspires? Have yer lot invaded the city?"
The Teir'dal looked up at the dwarf eyes wide with fear. He sure that the insane dwarf would kill him.
"Please don't kill me" he pleaded. "I am only bringing supplies for the new village, I am a merchant not a warrior".
"New village? What are ye talking about?" asked Hallarn.
The merchant began to explain recent events to Hallarn. Hallarn listened but due to his deep distrust for the Teir'dal he was not entirely convinced that the merchant was speaking the truth. When the merchant was finished Hallarn spoke.
" If what ye say be true then go to your village and find Elindar. Tell him that the Doomseeker Hallarn needs te speak with him. I'll be watchin ye from a safe distance just incase ye be thinking of leading me into an ambush."
"Yes, yes, certainly, I can do that for you." replied the merchant, relieved that the dwarf wasn't going to kill him.
The merchant resumed his journey and Hallarn followed at a safe distance. "This just keeps gettin stranger and stranger" he thought as he rode.

"Sorry for you to have waisted a trip but we try to avoid dealing with that bandit and it's been quiet some time since she's seen fit to show herself here." Elindar spoke.
The scornblade sighed and shook his head. He turned towards the setting sun and crossed his arms. "Well that is truely dissappointing..... I cant just go back empty handed you know. There is the matter of this village an all within are enemies of Neriak. The ones known as Naldany and Phelan are to be brought back to face the reformed counsil as well as that old fool that use to govern it. And most likely executed soon after."
"Well .... hehe" A voice said from the wooded area near by.
Darlena looked right to where the voice came from and frowned. "Looks like your gonna get your wish scornblade..."
He spun around eyes widen by what Darlena said. "Could it be?" He followed Darlena's gaze and soon saw an sitting apon one of the huge stones smiling at him.
"Whats this talk.... I thought I herd my name.... Our priestest sent me with a new message and assignment for you and I happened apon this conversation. so who wanted to see me?" She said with a giggle.
"I see she is just as childish in nature as I've herd. Had I not seen her handy work in the past I might underestimate her an lower my gaurd." He drew his swords but kept his distance, which only made Keyra smile an watch him more closely.
Elindar grew more unconfortable with the growing situation and thought of the families within. "Darlena please make sure everyone is safe."
Darlena was a bit taken by what he said. " If she decidesto get rough your gonna need me here."
"Now is not the time for this I learned a few things on how to deal with her have a little more faith in me." He gave her a kiss an she nodded turning to go back in. As she walked back through the gates Phelan met her and pushed passed to where the others was.
Once he saw the scornblade he knew things wasnt going to be good and then he smelled Keyra's scent just before noticing the crazed girl, and drawing his sword as well.
Keyra clapped when she saw Phelan. "Why hello brother Phelan I missed you so much."

It had been over an hour since Hallarn had watched the merchant enter the village and he was beginning to get impatient. Something wasn't right. He had seen Teir'dal in heavy armor ride into the village and it didn't look like they belonged there. "Theres trouble brewin' I'd stake me beard on it", he said to himself. "Well trap or no trap if Elindar is in that village then I need te be lending him a hand". The doomseeker slid his hammer from his back and ran toward the village as fast as his short legs would carry him. "Tis a good day te die" he said to himself and began to smile.

"Don't give me that!" Phelan shouted. "We are done with dealing with your priestest.... The deal was fullfilled."
Keyra took a deep breath and smiled with the same innocent smile she gave right before she would murder in cold blood. "She sent me to really deliver a message that she wished to make a visit to see the village you made and to have her a lodging prepared. She also requested a few more dwarven bodies for her experiments."
The scornblade started to laugh. "So my friend you are in dealings with the devil-elf.... and now I know there is someone pulling her strings.. Hey you!" He shouted over to Keyra.
She looked back over to him but them something caught her attention a small bearded man with a hammer running towards them.
"My oh my looks like here come a nice specimen for our lady." Keyra stood up and faced the on comming dwarf.

Hallarn roared a battle cry as he approached. He was initially moving toward the Teir'dal guards but stopped when he noticed Keyra.
"Keyra ye witch!! Twas you that attacked the mines in Moradhim wasn't it? Admit it before I kill ye!". Two of the scorneblades guards stepped into the doomseekers path, not knowing what to make of this new threat. Hallarn, driven to rage at the sight of Keyra, attacked immediately. The first guard, not accustomed to seeing a dwarf move so fast, didn't get a chance to defend himself before he was sent flying through the air with a hammer blow that crushed both armor and bones. Life had left his body when he hit the ground. The second guard wounded the Dwarf with a quick jab but heedless of the wound the Dwarf counterattacked and forcibly removed the guards head from his shoulders with a mighty swing of his hammer. The head arched through the air landing at the feer of Elindar and Phelan.
Phelan stopped the head with his foot as it rolled towards him.
"Nice hang time. I think I've met that dwarf before. Isn't he a friend of yours Elindar?"
"Yes", Elindar replied. "Unfortunately he tends to swing his hammer first and ask questions later".
Elindar sighed. Any hopes of peaceful negotiations were gone. Things were about to get ugly.

Keyra giggled at the scuffle that happened. "Aww that stubby little guy seems so upset.... Let me think."
Keyra mocking smilled tapping the tip of her finger to her chin. "I killed so many of your kind it's hard to tell but the last time was a few priest or something like that ... just a bunch of useless ol' fools no one would really miss."
She resheathed her swords and sat back down atop her rock perch. "Yeah I killed them but it wasn't by myself..... but it was entertaining listening to their screams and crying begging for their pathetic boring lives like little babies."
Feeling ignored the scornblade himself rushed up the rock to Keyra his blades throwing a few sparks. As he swung for the girl she leaped out of the way tossing a pag filled with toxic powders that left the man gasping for breath an blood running from his eyes. She them came from behind him an gave him a hard kick to his back toppling him from the rock.
"So you look familiar to me .... but then again you all look alike what was your name?" She said laughing

Seeing two of their comrades fall, more of the guards moved in on the doomseeker. Elindar, seeing that his friend needed help, drew his sword and joined the fight. Phelan and Olantar looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and drew their weapons and charged. The battle quickly turned into a chaotic melee. The town archers couldn't tell friend from foe in the swirling mass so they held their fire. Hallarn fought his way towards Keyra, leaving a trail of broken bodies in his wake, until only the scornblade stood between him and his quarry.
"Stand aside Teir'dal, that witch is mine!", the doomseeker bellowed.
"She is of no concern of yours dwarf." replied the scornblade. "She is to be taken to Neriak for interogation. Go back to Moradhim and mourn your dead."

"You take me back to that place ....." Keyra laughed aloud. "In your condition I give you a few hours before your body shuts down on you."
Keyra leaped done next to him and with a flurry of swings disarmed the poisoned scornblade and sent him to the ground. Keyra then turned her attention to Hallarn, pressing a swift attack she pushed him back before sheathing her swords and removing a glove.
"So.... how should we do this. I always wanted to fight a dwarf with my own fists. Why dont you show my what those large hands can really do besides wipe those tears from your face.
Darlena couldnt help but to return back to see how things was going and stood in shock for a moment to see things had feel completely apart. Elindar was doing fine as well as Phelan with dealing with the gaurds but the dwarf was getting in over his head.

"Well aren't ye the comedian Keyra. I've nae shed a tear since I took the doomseekers oath. I'll fight ye with er without weapons. It does nae matter te me."
Elindar had fought his way to Hallarns side. He placed an arm across the dwarfs chest holding the doomseeker back.
"Careful old friend, she's not the same person you knew."
"Nae the same person I knew?" replied Hallarn. " I saw the evil in her from the beginning, twas you and the northman who said she was tryin te be good. I never believed it! Ye should have killed her when ye had the chance." Hallarn turned to Keyra. "I now more about ye then ye might think Keyra, and about yer mother. Are the rumours true? Is Nikki dead?"

Keyra stepped a few steps closer an put both hands behind her back.
"Yes she did die..... in that village behind you. And all thanks to a sniveling child." With one of her hand she took a dart from her back pouch and the other hand formed her lycanthrope claw.
Darlena came to the other side of the doomseeker. "She was my true mother and she gave her life to save her granddaughter and she was layed to rest inside the village.... Keyra has very little intention in fighting you fair getting you to put down your weapon and fight her will seal your fate."
Keyra laughed. "Oh big sister, your gonna spoil my surprise... but you know you can't let him harm me. If I don't return to Lady Kyriko she is gonna send more here and what makes you think I'm truely here alone?"
Darlena and Phelan frowned when they realized she probably wasn't joking. Loveless was almost always nearby pulling her strings.
"Hey doomseeker I don't really know your abilities that well but fighting a lycanthrope with your bare hands is suicide." The red-haired teir'dal said to Hallarn.

"Dinnae worry I know her tricks. Shes tried te kill me before yet here I stand."
Hallarn turned to Darlena, her red hair catching his attention, "By the way, daughter of Nikki O'seth, Keyra was nae alone when she attacked me kinsmen. Have ye ever been to Moradhim?"

Darlena was taken back by his question and hesitated before Kerya interupted.
"Oh course she's een there who do you think assisted me in that little trip." She mocked Hallarn.
"Yes.... what she said is true but I had good reason for doing that and if I had my choice I would not had done that trust me." Darlena said.
"Enough already" Keyra said and dashed at the doomseeker taking a swipe at his chestplate leaving three deep claw marks in the armor. His reflexes was enough to keep her from landing the full force of her attack allowing the armor to take the impact.
"Aww I was hoping for a quick kill." Kyra said holding her clawed hand with a bit of greenish liquid dripping from the nails.
One look at Hallarns armor could tell it was useless now.
"Let us deal with her master dwarf." Darlena said.
"nonsense big sister he wants to die." Keyra said giggling.
