The minutes passed like hours Lalandra an Phelan stood looking at eachother. Niether wanting to drop thier guard, Naldany was soon to her feet an banging on the door. Lalandra smiled knowing that she was so close to completing her mission. Outside the house the fight was nearing its end the imposters was nothing more than sludge an ooze on the courtyard floor. Loveless sat clapping on the steps as Darlena sheathed her sword. Nikkii without a word walked up to the lycanthrope an punched him, cracking a few of her bones.

" Leave ..... Leave my house..... now!!" She said her voice beginning to crack. Loveless was unfazed by her strike and simply smirked his usual smirk gathered himself and started towards the gate. Right as he pushed the door open the stench of charred flesh filled the air. He fell to the floor his back now exposed and as hes looked back Nikkii's hand was still outstreched.

" As for that Loveless I will kill you when I choose to..." Nikkii stated as they closed the gate on him.

Lalandra was the first to advance cartwheeling towards Phelan. He dodged her an went to sweep her only to meet with nothing.

" You are quick of foot boy.... we could do so much together... think about it. I am a master assassin an you have a nautral talent that is being waisted caring for that spoild woman." Lalandra smiled as she slipped on her bladed glove behind her back. Phelan kept his watch of her and her distance from the bathing chamber. Phelan pushed his own attack on Lalandra and nearly landed his punch to her face. She staggered away and gave him a devilish smile.

Lalandra went on the defensive while she tightened her glove on her hand. The bath chamber where Naldany was pushed into had quieted down no longer was she yelling an hitting the door and shifting of objects could be herd. Phelan pressed her again and he grabbed the hand the glove rested on an attempted to remove it. Lalandra punched Phelan a few times in the back of his head to free herself but he held fast an broke three of the blades off leaving her with one and a very sore hand.

Phelan smirked back at Lalandra which confused her for the moment. She launch an assualt of her own flooring Phelan only but an instant before he grabbed her by the halter an tossing her near the door an her dagger. Realizing this she scooped up the sharp instument.

" This contest is over boy.... I am going to end your life." Suddenly the door behind her began to crack an glow, an before Lalandra could move the door exploded an impaled her in several places along with her own dagger punturing her midsection. In the door way stood Naldany an Aramis, Aramis giggled and clapped while Naldany looked winded from the attack still not fully recovered. Phelan rolled Lalandra onto her side she was gasping for air an bleeding all over. He went and reclaimed his swords an knelt down before the dying teir'dal.

"Now you have failed and I wish I could keep you alive longer .. but I will have revenge." Lalandra strained to look at him an spit blood on his leg. Like with Adaun the blades sawing thru her neck would be the last thing she saw. Naldany place Aramis on the bed an sat along side him looking at her once tighty room and shook her head. The shadow was now in the hallway that the very room they sat in, an it moved quickly towards the room with Olantar an Delrini in fast pursuit behind it. Nikkii and Darlena was also on there way to the room.

Before they could relax the shadow entered the room an tenticals sprouted from it grabbing Phelan, Naldany, and Aramis. Once Olantar and delrini entered the chambers the shadow entered they also was taken hold of. Naldany strugged to keep ahold of Aramis as Phelan, Delrini, and Olantar hacked away at the rubbery material. Slowly Naldany's grip loosen an she an Aramis fell into the shadow, now Darlena and Nikkii had arrived in time to watch Phelan dive into the dark ooze. Darlena didnt waist a moment in following and was soon followed by Olantar, Delrini looked at Nikkii an d then they both went in with the shadow fading.

In moments they side out to find themselves in Lilyths main hall surrounded by her minions an Lilyth herself sitting high apon a throne smilling down at them.

" Welcome one an all .... welcome to your place of death an my appointment as a goddess."

" A goddess??.... That you could never be, you have past your prime an was allowed to remain with the house as long as you stay in Hazernak..... That is what my father told me." Nikkii said holding back her laughter.

Lilyth motioned for her gaurd to surround the group of teir'dal as she stood from her chair.

"You are one to talk, You spent a great deal of time in the service of humans..... humans that are quickly growning in number an power. Even now you can't say when they would come to collect you yet again can you.... Your not even a pure teir'dal, your dwarvish halfbreed. I will make the O'seth house more powerful an respected, not just the simple church and priest training hall it is now. Once I drian that child of his abilities I will topple the higher houses of Neriak the Gal'saris, J'naris, Do'vexes.... all will burn and their power added to strengthen the newly reborn O'seth house. And this could only happen once the old reminants of the house are extinguished from this plane of existance."


With that her minions swarmed in apon them. Darlena was first to act and took the fight to them. Carving away into the thick of them leaving severed corpses behind her. Naldany placed Aramis at her feet and threw everything she could muster to push back their advancement. Olantar and Delrini helped to clear a path to Lilith as Nikkii healed their wounds. Phelan defeated foe after foe and this was not unnoticed by Lilyth as she nodded towards him. In a flash his blades was locked with Kasha and Mirra once again.

" Hello this time you won't get so lucky." They said in unison. Phelan however was ready for them this time and kept pace with the two assassins. The swords clashed and sparks flew from the blades, but this time the twins wasn't being so playful either. Kasha leaped over Phelan as Mirra did her best to land a hit , but before Kashe could swing Phelan had broke Mirra blades and landed a kick to her doubling her over an leaving Mirra wide open. Darlena was showing no signs of slowing as she went thru her minions as if they was novices. Now Lilyth was wondering if she had made a good decision in letting Phelan escape the first time, they could have a chance at stopping her.

"Mirra !!!!" Kasha screaming as she looked up to see her sister fall to Phelan's swordsmanship. " She won't go alone..... you will join her." She picked herself up and charged Phelan, but then it was like slow motion an everything fell silent as she saw him spin out of her away and a streak of silver flashed before her. " Your right she didn't go alone.... but it was you that would be joining her." Phelan said as he wiped his swords clean and turned to assist Naldany who was running low on power as the minions continued to fall about them.

Lilyth felt she soon would have to get her own hands dirty dealing with them and if she didn't do something soon it would be her against them all at the same time. "Mi'anna it's time take down that red- haired one with the sword." Lilyth said as she looked hard over to Naldany and notced the child next to her.

Quickly she unsnapped her cape as Mi'anna started to attack Darlena. She caught Darlena off her guard an knocked the sword from her hands. She attacked again and again with punches and kicks backing Darlena up. This was never seen before by Darlena, making it more difficult for her to mount a comeback. Lilyth sailed across the room landing directly behind Naldany. Naldany went to move to face her but Lilyth had caught her by the hair and pulled her close. Phelan noticed this and left the guards he was fighting to help his wife.

" You stupid girl ...... you will always be nothing more than a spoiled child... and complete failure." With that Lilyth bit hard into Naldany's neck some of her blood running down. Phelan had made it to her in time to stop Lilyth from completely draining Naldany's life as she pushed her into Phelan and went back to her perch snatching the child in the process.

Now Darlena was really becoming annoyed with that human incarnation as with evey attack she was pushed back further from her sword. Mi'anna swung with evrything she had but could not land a solid hit on the teir'dal. Finally Darlena let go of her restrait an her lycanthropic change began but this time it wasn't the humanoid creature, but a larger form of her wolf. She was twice her normal size and dwarfed the human girl. Before she could turn to flee Darlena had knocked her to the floor with one swing of her large claw. The smell of blood fueled thebeast in her as she lost control of herself and tore the human to pieces.

Lilyth saw this as well as Nikkii did and laughed. " Quiet a child you created now you have another threat and this might be more dangerous than me!! "

This was something Naldany had never witnessed before, her cousin was covered in blood an looked to enjoy it as she went after evrything in reach. She was getting over her dizzy feeling she had for the moment then noticed Nikkii had made it ever closer to Lilyth an she was still holding Aramis. The child looked like he was starting to become discomforted an begain to wiggle.

" I might have birthed that girl but she was turned into that creature by my father an the man I trusted.... but if i need to I will end her life here after you are dead."

Lilyth watched as Darlena begain to make quick work of anything that moved in her area. With Nikkii and the other two pest beside her closing in and the child becomming too uncontrollable she felt it would be better to cut her losses an leave. Lilyth prepared to toss Aramis away from her but then realized she lost sight of Phelan. Sweat began to bead on her forehead as she scanned the lower floor.

" Even that girl has dissappeared ..... dead maybe or ran away."

A sudden cracking noise came from behind her. She spun around to see Phelan comming at her sword drawn. She dodged his attack but just barely as she fell to the floor dropping Aramis. Naldany then appeared next to aramis and scooped him up before making her an the baby invisible again.

" So you stupid boy you dare still help those harlot women .... I will make sure you perish."

Phelan gave her no reply as he dashed at her ready to strike a mortal blow to her, but Lilyth thinking quickly with her strength draining spell sucking some of the life from him an slowing him giving her enough time to summon two pets to her side. They charged him pushing him back as Lilyth made towards the door leading up from the basement area.

"If I can't have that child's power then I will make all Teir'dal suffer my love's curse." Lilyth glanced back to see if her gaurd would hold, then continued on. Darlena was running out of adversaries quickly an the curse had full control of her mind, the next closest to her was Olantar and Delrini. And with the falling of the orc her attention turned to them as she snarled at them an ran full speed into the duo. With one swing she slapped Delrini to the ground, the force from the hit sent her sliding across the floor. Olantar moved to distract Darlena , a moved that worked very well because she held back nothing to attempt to fell the captain. Olantar unhooked his cape an tossed it over her face, temporarly slowing his as she shook her head trying to make the cloth fall from her face. Delrini jumped on her back an wrapped her arm tightly around the cape.

" Lady Nikkii please do something...." Delrini shouted and looked about. But Nikkii was no where to be found.

Lilyth stormed into her chambers and started towards her cabinet. " I don't know what you ment by what you said back there... but, you won't make any good on that threat. I will have Neriak for myself using that boy...."

Lilyth looked back at her door and right into Nikkii's cold eyes.

Delrini hit the floor with a hard thud when Darlena shook her off of her back. Olantar stood infront of Delrini with his sword drawn, Phelan was soon by his side.

" My' lord, it seems the lady has lost herself to the beast and I'm not certain if we can stop her without slaying her..." Olantar said as he readied himself to attack the lycanthrope.

Phelan was already in a deadly dance with Darlena before he had finished his sentence. He used the flats of his blades to slap her an made some minor cuts that was quickly healed. She growled at Phelan as she swung her large paws at the bladedancer. He narrowly avoided her claws an teeth but she was starting to close in on him. Olantar stuck Darlena in the side drawning a bit of blood an also gaining her attention, as she slapped him down an was bearing down on him with an open mouth to finish him. Suddenly a blast of ice knocked Darlena from him. She stood back up dizzied a bit an locked onto the sorce of the blast, Naldany. Like before the new threat got Darlena's attention and she charged at Naldany, her teeth ready to rip the flesh from her bones. Naldany quickly casted an arcane binding spellstop stop Darlena. The spell held for a few moment until the lycanthrope flexed her muscles and the spell shattered. Phelan with a running start slid under Darlena taking her legs from under her.

" Naldany get out of here and take our son from ...." Phelan demanded before getting cut off when Darlena struck him with a mighty swing. He was on his feet quickly enough to avoid her next attacks.

Naldany couldn't leave them in such a desperate situation an cast two more spells that slowed Darlena's assualt. Now Darlena was not going to allow her another shot, she ignored Phelan and Olantar and heading for the wizardress. Naldany used her strike spells that only enraged Darlena. Now Darlena was in biting range an went to do just so, but at the last second Delrini shoved Naldany to the floor. Blood splashed on the wall an a scream was herd, this made Phelan's heart feel like it hit the floor. Darlena turned an had Delrini locked in her jaws, blood covered her mussel and Delrini stuggeled to free herself. Darlena the began mauling her an tossing her about, with a few moments she dropped Delrini's lifeless body to the ground.

" No .... cousin what have you done? " Naldany said as she looked on at Darlena.

" My'lord...... we can not continue we need Nikkii to end the rampage."




" As if a halfbreed could run Neriak." Lilyth scoffed as she casted as bolt of infection at Nikkii.

Nikkii countered the spell with a bolt of arcan magic. " I an not a half breed, I did not ask that dwarf to save me nor infuse me with his kind. An as long as that boy is in my possesion I will destroy the upper houses an with that fear the rest will fall in line. And soon after the other lands will fall, especially the human lands."

" Well you an all teir'dal will do that under the moonlight, because after I cast this curse..... All teir'dal will suffer the plight of my beloved an our people... You will not be able to with stand the sunlight."

Nikkii started laughing as Lilyth made her latest threat. " You old crazy fool how would you go about that. And besides you only serve to weaken the teir'dal race."

"I have a host of curses.... that is what I specialized in. Your father married me for that an promised me eternal life for serving him.... You an that idiot boy you brought into the house killed him before he could bestow me with that nobility." Lilyth casted a few bolts at Nikkii that was again countered.

" Nikkii you are truely a tough opponent, but you have a major flaw, one that most of your profession suffer...... you can hold your own one on one, but you against multiple you will fall." Lilyth started to summon undead creatures one after another. Nikkii struck them, down as they came but could no longer pressure Lilyth.


Darlena faced off with Phelan an Olantar, the two men clearly was tired as well as Darlena.

The undead advanced on Nikkii despite her continued attacks against them. For everyone she knocked down one would replace it, the drain on her mana was becomming apparent as she started to back away no longer holding anything back. Lilyth seeing this opening to retrieve her spell book an move up to her tower.

"Goodbye you foolish woman...." Lilyth said as she left out of the back of the room.

Darlena was the first to make a move as she charged for Phelan. As she moved closer to Phelan, Olantar tackled her knocking her off balance an her own momentum sent her into the wall next to Phelan. Stunned only for a moment she was back on her feet, but she did not resume her attack. Instead she began to smell the air around her an looked over to a corner.

"Naldany get out of here now!" Phelan shouted looking in the same direction. Darlena moved over to the area slowly still sniffing a now moving scent. Something had to be done quickly now, Phelan thought.

"Olantar give me your sword......" Phelan said sharply.

"But M'lord? " He replied.

"Do it now.... hand me your sword." Phelan held out his hand awaiting Olantar's sword. He captain did as ordered an handed over the sword. Phelan threw the sword aiming to the front of the lycanthrope. A flash of blood splashed and a yelp of pain, Darlena's front leg was injured. Now her focus was back on Phelan, the pain only adding to her rage. Leaping over to the teir'dal men she made a mighty swing sending Olantar sliding into the wall behind them. Phelan spun himself out of her way and made a could slashes into her hide. Again another swing an he was down as well, his grip loosened from his swords and now Darlena standing over him. Phelan showed no fear in the face of death..... the thought of it being the form of a friend being unexpected. I sudden blast of heat an bright flash cleared Darlena off of him, putting her thru the wall. Phelan sat up an looked to where it came from to see Aramis an Naldany. The child's hands smoking from the blast he released. Olantar was already checking the debris where Darlena had crashed into. Within moments he rose with her craddled in his arms unconcious but back to her normal form.

"Olantar stay with her...I will find Lilyth an Nikkii. And put an end to this."

was reaching the limits of her powers an backing from the seeming endless numbers of undead. Now she used her mace more than the directNikkii spells but this couldn't be kept up for very long. A sharp sting to her side made her stagger a few steps, then she realized that the pain was from a sword an now she was wounded.

" I might fail here an my girls will have to carry this on for me....." Nikkii use a another blast to hold them off as she fell to one knee.

"You giving up so easily? I thought you had to much pride for that." Phelan smirked as he pushed though the skeleton guards. Nikkii didn't offer any works of hostility or encouragement, just simply used the opportunity to withdraw from the area. Not even slowing he rushed past them till they stopped giving chase. Now there was nothing seperating him from Lilyth.

Nikkii staggered her way back to where the others was casting a small healing spell with what power she had left. Naldany stood holding Aramis in her arms an Darlena was in Olantars grasp.

"We are missing someone other than Phelan aren't we?" Nikkii asked as she slid herself down against the wall.

"Delrini is dead....." Naldany said making sure not to meet eye contact with Nikkii. Her responce was met with silence which seemed like none would break too soon.


Phelan raced up the stairs after Lilyth her guard on his heels. She hadn't got too far infront of him an was confident that she was quiet alone. Phelan had seen her now an now had his swords drawn, soon this would all be ended. Lilyth entered her chamber to where she would cast a spell cursing all tier'dal an dal alike to burn by daylight, but her confidence would have the better of her as she left the door open. The door slammed an the door lock was engaged.

"This ends you old hag....." A voice came from behind her, startling her.

::This isn't Nikkii surely she is dead an that beast is finishing the rest of them..... I must get rid of whoever this pest might be quickly.::

Lilyth turned sharply to lock on to Phelan, who was already attacking her with all he had. His sword had made a small cut just under her throat, causing a bit of discomfort. Lilyth countered with a bolt of plague that he dodged. Now Lilyth had to come to terms that she might not survive if this keeps on. She scrammbled to get some distance between them an began to summon a portal. Phelan had seen this before an acted quickly. He leaped straight for her,an with several slashes took Lilyth's arms an head. However her spell was not complete and Phelan was next to the unstable vortex as it colapsed violently, making an explosion. The undead of the island began to wilt an fall as the town went to pieces.

"No Phelan !!!!.." Naldany shouted looking thru the hole in the wall at the breaking tower. Darlena awoke an in shock at what was going on but quickly was on her feet.

Naldany ran to where the rubble settledand began to dig looking for her husband. Nikkii didn't stop her, just looked on allowing Naldany to search in vain. Lilyth's body was uncovered, but only the swords that she gave Phelan remained. She continued to dig before Olantar placed his hand on her shoulder.

"My'lady ...... the has been lost to us.... please stop." Naldany shrugged his hand off an continued for a bit more before she burst into tears.

"Child we must get back home.., the elves will be here soon enough to investigate this." Nikkii explained as she picked up Aramis. "There is nothing you could have done..... an yes I will miss him as well but if you an the child don't live his sacrifice will have been for nothing."

Naldany nodded and went along to the boating docks with Nikkii an Olantar. Darlena watched them walk off before collecting the swords.

" I know your not dead... I dont smell your blood here my friend. I'll find you, but in the meantime I'll watch them for you."
