Honor Of The Five

[Cana]

Eckiles ran swiftly taking cover in the brushes..

Eckiles:"i think there gone my lady, let us rest a moment." Eckiles sat to catch his breathe he then noticed Kyra was no longer around.

Eckiles:"o no what have i done, did i drop her back there without knowing? Lady Preistess!!!! Kyra!!!!"

'I'am here.

Eckiles:"o thank the stars i thought i had gone and lost you and then who knows what would have happened, and damanen would have been frightfully ma..."

Kyra:"forgive me." she struck him unconsoius as the guard of Arcadin arrived to take the dark elf away. She then turned about and dashed to the battle where damanen lye. He was being overwhelmed but still slaying them furiosly.

[Cana]

Damanen:"my lady get out of here i will draw them away!" the ranger made to dash off with the enemy but soon found his feet entangled in roots. "we have been decieved..." The enemy now had the advantage and Damanen was hit again and again.

Kyra:"i can not let them kill him."

"you will do as commanded of you, in order to perserve the balance."

Kyra:"but they are no killers, not murders, they are good folk."

Doomu:"the choice is upon you, but remember we are in perilous time, and all is not what it appears to be. not even within ones own heart. Do what is right, for we are the last of our kind, the last of the sisterhood of the druid. The others did not beckon my call and so only we are left..." the beguiling words of Doomunatu seemed to follow her everywhere, her mind was poisoned.

Kyra:"forgive me Damanen, but my elder is most wise, beyond my compassion..."

The ranger now had pressed the advantage on his enemies, many were dead at his feet. His wounds were deep and armor tattered, he held only one sword in his right hand now, for his other was destroyed. Just as he pressed his advantage a blast of lightning struck him from the side.

Arcadin

Shuri and Fenerin could waste little time, the guards of arcadin poured out in anger to meet them.

Fenerin:"let me go!!!! ill take them all!!!!"

Shuri held on to the elf as she called about for her stead, Erudil. The black stead appeared and sped off with the two, his great speed could not be matched as they evaded capture.

Damanen now was at the fate of yet anothre attacker. His vision came to and he could see the priestess before him.. "Kyra..." The aura around here rose but then she was thwarted. It was not Kyra that had attacked but Doomunatu, Kyra then surprisingly tackled her to the ground.

Kyra:"Run Damanen!!!" Lightning was engulfing the area as doomunatu was enraged. Kyra froze and her eyes widened at the site of the oncoming storm.

[Cana]

Damanen:"i have run for far to long." He stood his ground as the enraging storm was about to strike down upon him..he braced himself.

He closed his eyes and as he did he felt neither pain nor suffering, he opened them. There in front of him was Kyra, she had stepped in front of the attack. She then fell to the ground, her robes were incinerated, and armor torn. She lay there in agony as the unrelenting Doomunatu continued her assualt. Her lightning came for them again as Damanen took blow after blow. He was now covering the preistess and felt the end was near.

Doomunatu:"how pathetic, how weak you are. I will end your shame now."

Damanen quickly unsheathed a boot dagger, and jabbed it through her ankle. She writhed in pain as the ranger took Kyra and attempted to flee.

Doomunatu quickly recovered and was upon them with more rath and might then before. Damanen turned again to face her, he dashed about with his blade in one hand and struck her twice..she slumped over.

Damanen:"this one is for Cana." He attacked her again and again knocking her to the ground as she screamed out in pain. He walked over her and leaned down to look upon her face. Quickly she grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.

Doomu:"you think you could ever killl the Immortals, such a fool."

He was within grasp of death when Shuri and Fenerin arrived upon Erudil.

Doomunatu:"i have no time for this!!!!" she dissappeared into the oncoming night as Damanen was falling into a deep sleep.

Kyra:"he is passing..."

Fenerin:"then heal him, your a priestess!"

Kyra:"i'm weakened from battle and badly wounded.." she revealed her side where her armor was torn in half and blood stained her clothe.

Shuri:"Kyra..."

Fenerin:"we must get them to aid and quickly."

Shuri:"i can take one with me upon Erudil, in Tethelin we will find aid there, follow us as you can, i will come back everyone."

Kyra:"we all can not leave, i must stay and rescue the drow Eckiles, for i sent him deep into danger, prisoner to be executed by Lady Doomunatu."

Fenerin:"why did u decieve us?"

Kyra:"i was decieved as well, we have little time send Fenerin with Damanen and your stead Shuri."

Shuri:"I'm welocme amoungst the elves there, and my horse knows but one master."

Kyra:"i will need u here, and the elves of Tethelin will need damanen and Fenerin."

Shuri:"are they in danger?"

Kyra:"i was sent to kidnap one of you as a distraction, in hopes you all would come to aid your friend. But in secrecy Doomunatu moves a large force to tethelin now, to destroy its great libraries and anicent lore. She is a dark priestess, like those of Legend."

Shuri:"but they were said to be vanquished long ago. After the fall of the dark star Jenci."

Kyra:"She will not stop until tethelin falls, for each druid that dies she concumes there power. As earth guardians we are tied to the earth and its skies above. The power within it never changes but exists for all in endless time."

[Cana]

Kyra:"it is there in Tethelin Lady Cana began a school of sorts to pass on teachings to fellow druids. I aided her in this ideal and soon she adopted two very young she elves into her study. Starwolf, and Ryohei, seek them there and protect the young ones within the school."

Shuri:"surely the elves of Fayspires will catch wind of a vast moving army through there terrain."

Fenerin:" no aid will arise out of Fayspires, for you see my people banished me under the foul spell of a greater evil. Fayspires is home of my father, and his fathers, Arcadin was merely a refugee."

Kyra:"Arcadin is my home, and I its keeper, i will not leave my people and your friend to peril."

Shuri:"let us delay no longer, we will meet you soon Fenerin."

The elf sped off upon Erudil carrying Damanen while Shuri and an injured Stephi now looked upon Arcadin.

[Cana]

Fenerin rode hastily into the night, never had he felt such speed upon any horse. Into the oncoming distance he could make out the faint laterns high atop the trees, the dwellings of Tethelin.

Guard:"halt there."

Fenerin:"I'm Fenerin Son of Fannen, and my friend is dieing." he dismounts and takes Damanen off Erudil. The guards pass word to a meesenger whom sped off and returned with two young elven women. One worn a blue robe and a golden circlet upon her head. Starwolf they called her, and along with her was Ryohei, whom quickly began healing Damanen.

Ryohei:"All is well Lord Fenerin, rest now and be at ease amoungst us." two days passed, and Damanen came to recovery, although not at full strength.

The visitors in Tethelin caused great warning amougst the elves. A council was taken were Damanen had been listening close by.

Starwolf:"they bring great evil to us, Scouts to the north report an army moves against us and will be upon the shores by daybreak."

Ryohei:"yes but they pose little threat to us, although outnumbered we hold greater power then these foot soldiers."

Elder Amberwood:"the elves have not gone to war in 100 years, we certainly will not now. They are here for our guests, not for us elves."

"That is were you are wrong." (Damanen enters the room) "forgive my intrusion, I'am Damanen of the North."

Ryohei:"you recover remarkably my friend."

Starwolf:"you are welcome here, as we have heard many great stories of your heroic deeds while you ventured with the Lady Cana and Lord Fannen."

Damanen:"I thank you, but bring ill news from priestess Kyra...that army approaching moves not against myself or Fenerin, they have come to destroy the last of the druids."

Amberwood:"what nonsense"

Damanen:"I was not finished. The Lady Doomunatu has turned to a great evil, that is her army and she is coming."

Starwolf:"Last of the druids, whatever do you mean?"

Damanen:"The Lady Stephi is badly wounded and greatly outnumbered, Valdius and Cana are dead."

Ryohei:"So it is true, the vision has come to pass...."

Starwolf:"were can we find priestess Kyra, we must aid her."

Damanen:"She is in good hands for the time being, but on the dawn of the morrow she will attack the guard of Arcadin."

Ryohei:"we must all leave here quickly, we must seek refuge in Fayspires."

It was then in the midst of there council the guards entered with a frantic message.

Guard Treewhisper:"They are upon us! we are surrounded, all but the shore. to many numbers to tell and more arriving!"

Starwolf:"get everyone out to the docks, ready the sails and take only what provisions are needed."

The elves of Tethelin made ready to cross the waters but soon found they could not enter there ships. For the tides danced with the lightning above and the sea became a greater foe then any. Doomunatu was approaching, bringing the weather down upon them. Rain and lightning, thundering dark clouds that covered the stars in the sky.

[Cana]

Fenerin awoke to the comotion, and ran out to meet the others. All the elves were out looking on as the massive army approached.

Fenerin:"Ancestors give me strength." The elves were quiet, Fenerin approached Damanen with a grieveous look.

Fenerin:"there must be a few thousand, we are doomed."

Damanen:"no, we must hold them for awhile. I have sent word to my brothers to the north, they will be here soon."

Fenerin:"you have an army?!"

Damanen:"yeah at least 20 of us."

Fenerin:"20!! Wh" He was then pulled aside by the ranger.

Damanen:"Fenerin it is up to us now, there is great strength inside you I can see it. Now is the time!"

The young paladin felt his confidence renewed and called out to the elves.

Fenerin:"Take arms, our greatest moment is upon us!!! Ready archers, swordsmen with me. Priestess protect us all from the oncoming fires."

Arcadin

Kyra:"how will we ever suceed."

Shuri:"500 of Arcadin's finest guard against us, no problem." She smiled with her massive halbred resting upon her shoulder."

Kyra:"they are coming." Shuri stood well in front of Kyra as the first of the guards approached. She slammed her halbred to the ground knocking them off there feet. She swung it about in circles cutting through her foes. She rested it upon the ground as dust had surrounded them all and she could see nothing.

Two magicians appeared and were unleashing there elemental might upon Shuri. With fire and water, pets and spells they attacked her. Knocking her back as she used the massive halbred as a shield. Shuri now found herself attacked from the back as a host of guards were upon her rear flank. She slammed the halbred into the ground, . This threw back the guards but left Shuri without her favorite weapon. She then lept back to the magicians and drew a long katana which was at her side. She immediately ran in and sliced one in two. She readied to slay the next but was hit with a powerful blast of magic. A wizard had appeared, tall and dark. He wore a black robe with symbols upon it, he was no guardsmen.

Fallen:"I'am Fallen, sorcerer of the west plateaus. I ask you to leave now, for I'am no murderer."

Shuri:"as if you had a chance to begin with." She charged him enraged and made a furios swipe with her blade. But it was merely an illusion she sliced into the air and then found herself bound. "Damit i cant move."

Fallen:"no mercy." he discharged a powerful surge of lightning knocking Shuri far back sending her hard to the ground. Kyra ran over to aid Shuri but was cut off by the mage and a host of guard behind him.

"What will you do now Priestess, you are at our mercy."

Kyra:"this is my home, i will never surrender it to you.' she discarded her shield and 1 handed sword, and took off her back the Staff of Eilderwal that Cana carried. It was glowing green and eminating a radiance.

Kyra:"first of its nature, and most ancient of its kind, you will not destroy the sisterhood of the druids!" they attacked her and she countered them all weilding the staff with unnatural accuracy."

Fallen:"you should have left these lands drow, now it is over." She smiled up at him quickly getting to her feet and knocking the wizard to the ground. She ran to gain distance drawing her bow. The wizard was powering up and engulfing the area in his arcane might. He unleashed a hellish blast."

Fallen:"you will not evade that drow."

Shuri:"bastard!" she saw the oncoming storm and could do nothing more but try to get off one good shot. She leaped and fired her crossbow. The powerful blast then caught her, she screamed in agony and tumbled.

Kyra:"no Shuri!"

The sound of an eagle screamed into the air shuri's arrow had taken form and was heading right for Fallen. It sunk deep into his chest and killed him.

Shuri lay upon the ground, her armor tattered and she had no weapons left. Guards were approaching her and Kyra try as she may, had a host of her own to deal with. Then in an instant, a blade dropped the oncoming guard, shuri looked up, it was Eckiles.

Eckiles:"come on get up, we gotta finish them." He pulled her up and handed her the halbred.

Shuri:"However did you get this out the ground!"

Eckiles:"i didnt, he did." he points to a massive ogre whom was running towards them, shaking the ground below.

[Cana]

Screaming bloody murder with his giant mace above his head came this menacing ogre. Shuri, Eckiles and kyra had reunited but surrounded.

shuri:"kyra we must go now."

kyra:"i can not leave my people in there hands, no longer!"

Shuri:"we will not live this battle through, in victory or defeat!"

Eckiles:"thst big guy is coming again!"

kyra held out a small radiant stone and the three vanished. They had arrived in the Northern wilderlands a cold icy region near castle fayspires, and tethelin.

Shuri:"we will return Lady Kyra, this i promise."

The stone turned to dust and wisped away in the breeze. Shuri made ready to make haste to Tethelin, but soon discovered Kyra's wound was deep and ailing her badly.

[Cana]

Tethelin

Doomunatu's forces were now upon the elves, they tried to set the great oaks a blaze, but were thwarted by Starwolf and Ryohei.

Doomunatu:"Surrender elves of Tethelin, you are have no chance other then this one I offer now."

Fenerin:"Long have you plagued the council of the elves! In fayspires your beguiling striped it of its honor, in Arcadin you made slaves, and now to Tethelin you seek to destroy the teachings of the druids!"

Doomunatu:"Silence! I come not to discuss but to conquer Fenerin son of Fannen, Slave of Arcadin!"

Fenerin:"FIRE!!!!" He yelled out furiosly as Damanen and a host of elf guards unleashed there bows. Doom's forces were taking an aerial assualt and could not return one of their own.

Doom then noticed the two preistess' sitting on opposite ends of the village. They were radiating a barriar.

Doomunatu:"dam them!" She ran far left and unleashed a hellish blast upon Ryohei. It broke through the barrier and knocked the preistess to the ground.

[Cana]

Elder Amberwood:"they have breached the north side, the lady is down!" The elder was kneeling down to pick up Ryohei when Doom's forces had reached the top of the steps. Damanen fired past his ear slaying the oncomers. But with fire from below and encroaching forces from the north, there need grew dire.

Fenerin:"swordsmen take arms and follow me!" Fenerin and a host of 20 elves made for the northend of the village where the enemy was pouring through.

Fenerin:"Await them upon the bridge, they can not attack us in force there." The paladin proved right as they awaited the marauders and cut them down with ease.

And then suddenly the bridge collasped beneath them. Fenerin and his guard fell to the ground were over 1,000 dark forces awaited them. Damanen attempted to cover their evade, but they were surrounded. With there backs pressed hard against another, and quivering swords in there shaking hands, they felt death nearing them.

Damanen then risked life and body as he jumped from the treetops down below upon the invaders. Whirling his blades about him like a master. He dashed about slicing away at the increasing numbers. Starwolf was pulling the injured to the southend of Tethelin were they gathered horses near the coachmen. The north end of the village was all but ruined and burning.

Amberwood:"Damanen!!! get them out of there!!!"

But Damanen, Fenerin and the rest were surrounded by there great host.

Damanen:"flee while you can, the priestess' must live on!"

Amberwood and his guard began to take up there horses when Lady Starwolf parted through them and walked down below toward the battle.

Elder Amberwood:"My lady we must escape."

Starwolf:"No elder, this renegade druid comes to destroy us all, and i will vow vengenace for the preistess' lives she took before me!"

Ryohei then struggled to her feet as Starwolf helped her up. The two young sheelves walked down the stairway and made their way to the hopeless battle together.

[Cana]

Doomunatu halted her army, and preceded to the front. Damanen and Fenerin were exhausted, only three elves now stood with them. Starwolf approached aiding Ryohei as they confronted Doom. They stood in front of her silent and poised.

Doom:"So you are the last"

Ryohei:"BE SILENT!" Ryohei interupted her with fury in her voice. "How could you do this, how could you murder your fellow druids!!!"

Starwolf:"We heard tales of your great deeds as children from Cana, and you have sent her to death."

Doomunatu:"I will destroy you two and be the only nature priest to walk the earth. True power will be mine....... your power will be mine."

Damanen:"RUN!!!!" Starwolf and Ryohei failed to see the attack coming from high above them. An enormous bolt of lightning was about to engulf them all. They evaded it just in time but both were hurled back from the blast. Ryohei whom was already injured took a hard hit and did not get up.

[Cana]

Dust and debris were everywhere, the guardians of Tethelin were strewn about the ground. Fenerin was the only one to remain standing. His heavy armor now destroyed. He held his sword tightly in both hands as he heard the oncoming footsteps. Starwolf was at Ryohei's side when she charged into the oncoming army. Discharging fire and lightning in all directions, attacking any oppenent near her.

Damanen's vision came to, and he could see Doom closing in on Starwolf. Fenerin quickly intercepted the evil priestess and hit her upon he head with the hilt of his blade. She tummbled hard upon the ground.

Starwolf:"you got her!" But there would be no such luck, Doomunatu quickly sprung back at Fenerin and unleashed a deadly attack. All the paladin could do was try to defend the onslaught from Doom and her army. Damanen hit Doom with a series of arrows, the thwarted attacks enraged the priestess whom summoned her army around them.

Doomunatu:"Surround them, and finish them off!!!"

Hope was lost for Damanen, Fenerin, and the elves of Tethelin. Greatly outnumbered and exhausted, only but a few remained to fight.

Doomunatu:"you will die at my command!!! prepare yourselves for nothing can save you now!!!!!"

"Spell of ten thousand wolves!!!!!!" A yell came down from the hilltops to the west. This caught the attention of everyone as a faint glow then came from the direction. Suddenly Shuri, and Eckiles were upon them charging along side what looked to be white wolves. Howling came from every corner and a host of spirit like wolves appeared and ran threw Doomunatu's guards.

Just as they came they were gone in an instant. Doom's army lay dead in defeat, as the priestess now stood alone, against Shuri, Kyra, Eckiles, Damanen, Fenerin, and Starwolf.

Doomunatu:"How, how can this be......" They began attacking her at once, and landed many punishing blows upon her. She fell and struggled to her feet, Eckiles ran quickly upon her from behind, but was caught. She caught him dead in his tracks and shocked his body until he fell in pain. Fenerin was now charging her, she stood her ground and held her arms high to the air. The lightning came upon her and she cast it at Fenerin. He tried to block the attack with his sword and was able to. Until it broke in two....

She cast another attack, the paladin was set a sunder, he tossed in the air and crashed to the ground.

Shuri:"Damn you!!! i will send you to your death!!!!"

Doomunatu:"Will you not face me alone? you are scared I can feel it!"

Shuri:"noone is to interfer, she is mine."

Damanen:"this is no time for such foolish pride, we must destroy her now!"

Shuri:"She is mine Damanen, she will pay for the death of the Lady Cana!! The priestess of the white wolves travels no more. Betrayer of your own kind, YOUR LIFE IS MINE!!!!"

Charging with a series of furios attacks, shuri cut away with her sword. She was unrelenting and attacked again, and again. The last cut of her blade ripped the robe off of Doomunatu and sent her to the ground.

Ryohei:"you have her now!!!"

Priestess Doom vanished in an instant, Shuri lost sight of her and paniced. Doom was running about them at a furios speed. Shuri was hit hard in the back, this winded her as she staggered for a second. The blast came upon her far to quickly Doomunatu unleashed her lightning and struck her again.

[Cana]

Damanen and the others looked on as Shuri slowly came to her feet. Her sword was no longer in hand, so she charged the evil priestess with only her fists. Doomu hit her again with a volt of lightning to her chest. Shuri fell to the ground and did not get up. Doom approached her and stood over her, she jabbed her staff into Shuri's chest. The dark knight yelled out in pain as blood trickled from her mouth.

Fenerin:"We must put an end to this!" They made ready to charge Doom when a bright light distracted them all coming from the west. It was Kyra walking towards them, holding Cana's staff in her hands which was illuminating a brilliant light over taking the area.

Doomunatu:"so you come to join your friends in death!! Kyra, Last of the earth guardians."

[Cana]

Kyra's distraction gave Damanen time to get Shuri out of the harms way. Doomunatu was out numbered now, and kyra began healing her comrades increasing the odds.

Doomunatu:"Once i have you kyra, the earth guardians will be defeated and one dark priestess will exist to rule natures power.." She began radiating a column of fire which consumed her body. She yelled out into the air as the fire swelled and grew ever greater and larger.

kyra:"whether i die or not the teaching have been pasted on, only your treachery and betrayal shall die here this day!"

[Cana]

kyra raised her staff to the sky as the clouds gathered round her. In a brilliant display of might and magic they unleashed there attacks. The power of fire and lightning began overtaking the area and the adventurer's were forced to flee for there lives.

Neither preistess would relent as they pressed there power each seeking the advantage. An explosion burst out, kyra and Doom both lay on the ground. Doom was struggling to her feet, but kyra did not move.

Fenerin:"kyra!!!" he ran to her side as she ailed upon the ground. "hold on..." Ryohei and Starwolf also came to her aid, but she was beyond there healing and fading fast.

They could only watch on as she took her last breathe and perished.

Fenerin:"AHH DAMN YOU!!!!" The disoriented preistess was stumbling about in a daze.

Shuri:"Let us all finish her now." Starwolf and Ryohei flanked her with Fenerin, while Shuri and Damanen meet her head on. They appraoched Doom whom was struggling to prepare a spell as they closed in. The sweat and blood poured down her face, as she nervously uttered the spell again and again.

Fenerin moved in for the kill but the preistess vanished....

[Cana]

Fenerin yelled out in rage as the enemy evaded them, and Kyra lay dead. The scene was quiet and barren of life. The once lush and peaceful tree village od Tethelin had been tattered with fire and metal. Very few elves survived Doomunatu's attack. The fallen bodies of her fallen soldiers lay strewn about the ground, as Ryohei and Starwolf looked for survivors.

Shuri:"We ride for Arcadin, we must not linger."

Ryohei:"go if you must, i must see to my village and its survivors."

Shuri:"we will need every able person here."

Ryohei:"my village is in flames!"

Shuri:"And the enemy is nearly dead!!!! let us finish this now."

Damanen:"MY brothers from the North are coming!!!!" The Ranger shouted as they looked to the North and could make out a small band of riders approaching fast. A young elf was at there lead, he had long blonde hair and a lordly manner about him.

Qenelen:"It is good to see you well Damanen!" the riders dismounted and met with Damanen, whom then introduced his brothers from the northern lands.

Damanen:"Shuri is right, we must get Doomunatu now while she is injured and her forces weakened."

Fenerin:"I wish to see her dead more then any, but someone must remain here. If it is the healing of the priestess you should need, then i will remain behind."

Eckiles:"my lord Fenerin, spoken like a true King." he says bowing to the paladin. The others followed his courteuos jesture, all but Ryohei whom remained behind with Fenerin.
