Phelan's head spun and the floor felt as if it were tipping as he ran. The color had gone from his vision and a haze seemed to fill the hallways. Phelan shook his head trying to stave off unconcioness long enough to ensure his wife's safety. Phelan stumbled in to the walls as he turned the corners.
"Naldany...Naldany!" He bellowed as stalked toward the chamber.
Phelan felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and the bolt fell to the ground. Blood soaked his arm that now hung at his side limply, sword sheathed. The shooting pain made his stomach churn, but his vision cleared and saw the doorway to the chamber.
"Naldany?!" He yelled again as he closed distance to the doorway.

Adaun felt her arms burning with exhaustion as she frantically tried to keep pace with the unseen warriors infront of her. Finally she plunged her sword through the defenses of the armor in front of her skewering it upon her sword. The helmet, bracers and leggings hit the ground with an enormous racket.
Adaun swung her sword side to side violently staving off the other two warriors attacks and trying to shed her sword of the breastplate that was now impaled on her sword.
"Naldany, you have to run. I can't hold them off. go, please." Adaun said as the armor flew from the sword.
Sting after sting assiled Adaun, yet she battled on, blood dripping from her multiple wounds. She knew that soon her arms would be to tired to parry and there would be no hope for her after that.

herThe twins looked at eachother in frustration that they were humiliated by Phelan and now he might make it in time to save the princess and the boy from the other assassins.
" Madam Lilyth won't me pleased .... sis.."
" Yes sis but we need to escape from here and recover somehow."
Darlena and Delrini made it to the front where the ackolytes was in preperation for the the eveing ritual.
" Something's wrong here Delrini...... this area is an easy target but nothing has happened here. "
" M'lady..... I think they are focused at the front door then... maybe they are comming for someone, not to take the church."
" ARAMIS...."
Darlena sprinted back towards the courtyard of the church where Olantar was barking orders to the guards that survived the first wave of the attack. The soldiers wore the same crest as the church gurd except a seal on the back of the armor making distinguishing them as foe very difficult. Olantar was injured but the cleris was was healing him as he stood firm against his oppenents.
" Olantar you should back off ... let me take over and you see to the wound."
" No... I am captian..... I should have seen thi trick sooner. Alot of them came in with our guard and started attacking before we was completely ready. There is a human leading this group and his attacks are flawless."
He then looked over to Darlena as she came back to his side. Pain had finally started to take him as he went down to one knee. Darlena eased him down and Delrini took over the troops.
" Two trolls ...... there is two very large trolls they are there with him."
" I'll take care of it .... you did well."
Some of the priestess helped him up and back inside. Now the second attack came though the doors and the fight entered the courtyard. Darlena leaped into the middle of the fight she could smell the difference in them they smelled of sand and sea water. This did not go unnoticed by the Human shadow knight and his troll allies. Delrini did as Darlena was and was fighting with all she had, stinging pain and shock of the impact of her blades excited her. Darlena didn't realized that she was being allowed to cut deep into the crowd to seperate her from the others. Before she knew it the soldiers backed off and circled around revealing the trolls. Then it hit her it was a trick and she fell for it.
" Mesa owe joo big times fer wat joo did to our brudder."
" Ya wes train just to kill joo.... "
" I'm flattered but you both know you far too slow to kill me and I have and advantage over you two brutes."
They both gave her a toothy smile.
" Dat wut joo tink... when you turn into doggy joo lose your weapon but when wes turn into scaly scale wes keep us axe. Now Joos die. They both started to turn into weregators and their size increased further.
" We even faster nows."
Quickly one of them wiped their tail aroung hitting Darlena and sending her flying against the wall.
" Great... I'm gonna need some help here."

"I can't..... Aramis."
Both of the enchanters smiled as the saw blood from both the women. The child was nearly in reach as the woman approach him. Aramis stood up looking at his mother in aunt in pain and finally at the woman about to pick him up. Suddenly she was frozen in place and her airway cut off. This affected the the suits she commanded as the stopped moving and stood still. Her face turned pale as she grasped her throat, soon her head exploded. With her death half of the suits dropped to the floor. Aramis then turn to the man who was in shock from what just happened to his wife. Armis set fire to the man and he fell from the table he was on as he hit the floor he was hit by a nova explosion bursting him across the hall, and like before the rest of the armor suits fell to the floor.

Phelan heard explosions coming from the room ahead of him. He grit his teeth and charged into the room trailing blood behind him on the floor. Phelan paused in dismay at the gore that was layed out before him. He stood mouth gaping like a fish out of water. There were two indiscernable corpses on the ground, one nothing more than a pile of flesh and blood and the other minus a head.

Naldany's arms had cuts all over them the slash from the daggers still bled as well. She crawled over to the child as he stood there looking at the headless corpse of the woman. She turn his head toward her and took a glimpse into his cold dark eyes. There was no tears from him but a frown on the toddlers face.
" Adaun are you ok?" She asked as she continued to look Aramis over.

Darlena swung her sword against them and met with his axe. The other attempted to claw her in the back but she dove out of his reach in time for him to knock the others weapon from him. Quickly she lunged behind him and pierced him in the back. The wound was heavy but didn't appear fatal.
" You are gonna take a bit more effort to rid of."
With a hiss they was back in her face and attacks was more visious. Darlena was holding her own and managed to get some attention from the house guard and they began to work towards her.

Phelan saw Naldany making her way to Aramis. He sheathed his sword and tried to stem off the bleeding by pressing his hand tightly over the wound. He walked into the room dizzily and shakey. He was vaguely aware of another person in the room, but he didnt precieve them as a threat. He tried to walk to Naldany but stumbled and fell to the floor, he felt his stomach lurch and things started to feel cold.

Adaun looked herself over before replying to Naldany. A few deep cuts and many bruises, but all in all nothing to worry about. Her armor looked as bad as ever and her cape had been shredded and was nothing more than a blue rag that hung from her shoulders.
"I am fine. Are you ok?" Adaun said and glanced her way.
As she lifted her eyes she saw Phelan stagger into the room. He looked to be on the verge of collapse. He made his way on shakey legs and then fell face first into the floor. Adaun rushed for his side.

Naldany knelt at Phelans side, and rolled him over. Her robe had her blood stains on it and her cheek's blood started to dry on her.
" What happened to you my love..?" She asked
Then a couple clerics entered the hall with Olantarin tow. They sat him in a chair and started healing his wounds. One of them went to Phelan looking him over, before anything could be said she focused on the shoulder closing the wound slowly. Naldany looked over to Olantar.
" What happened you was suppose to be watching for his safety?"
" Heh...... He never made it to me...... I should still be out front..... but that cousin of your sent me here and is out there right now with Delrini ....doing my job."
Naldany saw Aramis resting his head on Phelan as he was being healed and nodded to Adaun before leaving the hall.
" I'm going out there...... Tell Phelan to take care of him and rest up.. I can't let this slow me down." She yelled as she went out.

Adaun looked to Phelan whose eyes were begining to flicker open and to the empty doorway Naldany just ran out. She didn't know what to do. Phelan had told her to stay at Naldany's side no matter what. She looked to Olantar.
"You tell Phelan what is going on when he awakes fully. I am going after Naldany." She said.
Olantar sighed and then nodded.
Adaun turned and sprinted out the door after Naldany. One of the house guards was limping along in the cooridoor.
"What is going on out there? How are the lines standing?" Adaun quickly paused to ask.
"M'lady, the lines are holding and even pushing them back at times, however it is hard to discern them apart from this house, there is only one difference in their armor from ours." The wounded guard said.
Adaun thought for a moment and then a smile sprung to her face.
"Go to the armory and grab all of the blue capes out of there and begin passing them out to our soldiers. Then it will be easy to see who is who." Adaun said.
"Yes M'lady I will do it right away." The guard hurried off down the cooridoor obviously happy to be of use still.

Phelan heard muddled voices as the fog began to lift. He opened his eyes and had to close them again for the light was extremely bright. When he opened them again it no longer stung and he could make out the face of a cleric leaning over him.
"How do you feel M'Lord?" The cleric asked.
"I feel better." Phelan said and sat up.
To sit up took all of his strength and focus, but he didn't show it to anyone.
"You should really lie back down M'Lord, my power has been diminished a great deal attending to many wounded, I have only been able to take care of the wound. Your body still will feel fatigued because it will be fighting off the poison that is coursing through your viens. The good news is that is seems that you have a slight tolerance to it already." The cleric said.
"Nonsense, I feel great, plus I need to get to the fight. Olantar is out there and needs my help." Phelan said.
"No, M'Lord, I am here at your side, I too was wounded in battle." Phelan heard Olantar's voice from behind him somewhere.
Phelan grit his teeth and stood. Aramis looked up at him curiously. Phelan held out his hand for the child to cling to. He didnt' think he could hold the child without possibly dropping him. Phelan walked to the chair where Olantar sat. The cleric rolled his eyes and threw up his hands and took his leave.
"Olantar, what is going on? How did they get inside the building?" Phelan said .
"I can only think that they snuck in under the cloak of invisiblity ahead of the main bulk of fighting. I think their task was to capture either you or a member of your family. The main fighting is heavy and taking a toll on already dwindled numbers. We still haven't recovered from the previous fighting. That being said we were pushing them back out of the courtyard the last I saw. The plan worked well, they split around us and we had them divided. I was wounded and stayed as long as the clerics would let me. They finally took me here and left Derlini in charge. Naldany left before you could wait, she was going to help Darlena. Adaun went after her to watch her as you requested. Which leaves us here to take care of Aramis as the battle wages on." Olantar finished queitly.
Phelan's face darkened, his eyes smoldered and glowed red with anger. Why coudlnt' she just listen? She is too important to this house right now to go running out into battle. Phelan looked to Aramis who held his father's hand quietly. Phelan pulled a chair up next to Olantar unable at the moment to change things and sat down.
Aramis frantically gestured to be picked up, which brought a laugh from Phelan. Phelan hoisted his son into his lap. Aramis sat there staring into his father's eyes and Phelan stared back into his son's stone cold eyes.
"What is running through your little mind, child?" He said as he tickled him.
"Olantar, you did well. How bad is your wound? or should I say was?" Phelan asked turing his attention back to the captain of the guard.
"well it is still there actually, they healed it partially, our clerics are running out of power and their spells are becoming more feable." Olantar said.
Phelan nodded grimly in response.

Darlena was starting to wear down just like there defenses. She had dealt a great deal of Damage to the weregator trolls and taken hers as well. They stood looking at each other none ready to make the next move, the human shadowknight still had yet to get involved in the fight, just simply sat and gave orders as he smiled at the red heads approaching defeat. Naldany had entered the doorway to the court yard and saw her cousin seperated and hurt. She did not go unnoticed by the human either as he stood up and unfastened his cape. He pushed his way through the fight and was fast approaching the wizardress as she rushed to Darlena. His sword drawn the stood ready to strike Naldany down as she casted a spell but as his blade fell Delrini was there to knock it away, allowing Naldany to complete her spell locking the trolls in place.
" So human you seeked an easy kill huh ..... It won't be her or the other you'll put in your work here."
" So be it ....... "
Darlena looked back to her cousin and frowned at her for her actions.
" Why did you do that? ..... You shouldn't be out here, if one of us fall its fine but not both of us."
" Neither of us will..... Your just as important as I am and I need to pull my own weight and do my duty."
Darlena growled and with a mighty swing took the head of one of the trolls. Then they both turned to the other.
" Well cousin you can send there heads to that Oasis and be official." Darlena said as they plunged into the others chest.
Delrini was attacking like a savage animal no more grace...... no patience, just a bloodlust as she swung. The human smiled at her and held his ground from the lieutenant. He noticed the defeat of his comrades and thought to end the conflict, quickly he took a sudden side step and tripped Delrini up sending her spiraling to the floor. He took aim at Naldany and threw his sword at her. Darlena saw the blade comming and pushed her out of the way.
" Hazernak forces withdraw now...." He said with a smile. The soldiers started disengaging from the battle and departing the courtyard. Naldany grabbed her head as she got back up off the floor and looked up to Darlena who was staggering a bit then fell to her knees gasping for air, and finally onto her side.
" NO !!!!" Naldany rolled her over on her back and removed the sword from her midsection.
" Get her to a healer here quickly... " One of the guard scooped her up and took her inside quickly. Delrini's looked on in disbelief in the fact she failed on two fronts now, The enemy escaped and Darlena was severely injured. She went to Naldany and escorted her inside picking up the blade the human weilded.
" Clean this place up.... give our fallen a proper burial and the others are fish food." Delrini said as tears of anger fell from her cheeks as they entered the dining hall which became an area for the wounded. Naldany was standing over her cousin as the clerics struggled to seal her wound up.
" She will live M'lady but will require alot of bed rest. Our abilities have been maxed out and can't quite do as well as they should be."
Naldany nodded to the man and leaned back over Darlena. " I messed up again.... I'm sorry"

Adaun rushed out into the courtyard and was amazed by the carnage. Lylith must have sent most of her forces here. Every where she looked the guards were paying a heavy price for the ground they held, but the enemy couldn't come closer. Adaun couldn't see Naldany nor Darlena in the fray. She did see that no one was leading the attack. The left end of the line was about to fall and needed reinforcement. Adaun began calling out commands to her former guards who responed like clockworks and did just as they were told. The line held and began pushing back. Over the din Adaun heard a call of retreat from the enemy line, Adaun held the guards in place not wanting them to get sucked into the enemy if it were a trap. The clerics rushed about and Adaun saw Naldany rushing with a guard, who was carrying Darlena, back inside. Adaun saw Delrini and fixed her with a cold hard stare before following after Naldany.
Adaun walked up behind Naldany as she was leaning over Darlena and placed a comforting hand on her back.
"She will be ok. Why didn't you wait for me? It was my task to be at your side." Adaun asked.

Phelan forced himself to his feet and began pacing about the room while Aramis played. Olantar stood also trying to strech a bit.
"What is on your mind M'Lord?" Olantar asked.
"Nothing, just trying to calculate how long it will take to build this house back up to full status before I can step forward with my plans." Phelan said, he cast a glance to make sure the child was not harming himself.
"Your plans M'Lord?"
"In due time, Olantar in due time." Phelan said.
A few moments later a guard entered the room and approached Olantar.
"Sir, the fighting is over, the enemy has fled." The guard said.
"Good, I want the senoir officers to meet me in the courtyard for an assesment. Dismissed." Olantar said, the guard smartly saluted and then went on about his business. "Well, M'lord. It seems that I will be able to tell you exactly how long it will take to rebuild the forces in under an hour."
"Good Olantar, thank you." Phelan said with a dismissive wave.
Olantar left the room smiling. Moments after Olantar's departure a servant came to Phelan.
"M'Lord, Lady Naldany has returned and is seeing to Darlena in the dining hall." The servant girl said.
"What happened to Darlena?" Phelan asked. "Nevermind, I will go see for myself." Phelan said, the girl curtsied and took her leave. Phelan scooped Aramis into his arms and made his way to the dining hall.
