Phelan nodded and smiled, then he gestured toward the hallway that would lead them up and out of the church. Phelan was glad that there were allies that he could call upon. It seemed that his life was in a contant state of disary and knowing who he could and couldn't trust was always changing. Loveless, however seemed sincere and Phelan took him for his word.
Phelan looked at the elf who dangled over his shoulder and it pained him to see her in pain, as much greif as she had caused in his life he still didnt' wish that pain upon her. Hopefully Loveless would be able to control her and get her on a path to healing. Maybe then he thought, maybe then I could trust her.

Adaun laughed quietly to herself as she still heard many people talking about what happened to the man she strung up just the day before. Patryas had planted a seed in her brain, a seed that was fast growing.
Why shouldnt' house Seladria again grace the houses of Neriak? Why couldn't Phelan and I start the house once more? But what if someone opposes us? I am sure there are those that would hate to see the house reinstated. She thought to herself.

" Why are you looking at me like that put me down.... I don't want your pity. I will show Lady Nikkii that I am trustable.... I will take care of that baby.... you will see."
Loveless bumps her upwards with his shoulder and takes the breath out of her for a moment.
" Lower your voice... it is still early and we shouldn't make a scene."
They made it out of the church and soon outside of the Neriak gates. Loveless placed Keyra down and looked back one last time at Neriak, Keyra still was sobbing.
" This isn't the last you will see of me Phelan." Keyra said looking through him coldly.
Nikkii waited till the noise subsided and got dressed to head to Kalysta's chambers. She looked out of her door to make sure that Keyra was gone and left out. She stopped when she saw the note left by Darlena and felt a bit ill with the thought of her runningoff in the night to see that elf again. She collected herself and went to Kalysta's room.

"Keyra I wish you the best, I really do, I hope that in your travels you find what you are looking for. I hope that you also see that you dont' need anyone in your life to be who you are.
Loveless, I wish you good travels and remember all the blood she sheds is on your hands. Some day you may end up paying for her sins...." Phelan held a long gaze with Loveless then he turned and headed back for the church.

Phelan trudge his way back down into Neriak through the cave where a carcass now hung barely recognizable as a dark elf. Disgusting he thought to himself, it wasnt' as if he had never seen dead bodies before, he was a warrior he encoutered them all the time. No this feeling he had was different, the fact that the man suffered as he died. His final moments were in terror, at least in battle if you were struck down it was fast and even if you lay there dying from your wound you could reflect upon things and find those happy memories that made life enjoyable.
Phelan knew that he was an outcast among his race and would be accepted by only a few in the world of Norrath. He hoped that there maybe a way for his people to change, he hoped that something of him was passed on in his son. Phelan had a feeling that Nikkii would see to it that Phelan had very little to do with his own son.
Phelan quivered at the thought, if that happened maybe he would contact Loveless. Phelan's rage grew inside as he walked back toward the church. Phelan pushed his rage down, no sense in getting angry over things that haven't happend yet he told himself.

Nikkii knocked softly at Kalysta's door and after a few minutes she opened the door.
" Its time to get up you have taskings to do now hurry and get dressed."
Kalysta nodded and went back in and freshed up. She dressed herself in her new robes and came out offering a bow to Nikkii.
" You will be overseeing the younger ackolytes.. they will be attempting their morning rituals.... You will help them by showing them the right motions and proper chanting spell. They are mostly children some are gifted toddlers."
" After this is over with will take Aramis to the archmage, then I will know his true potential."
The two women went to Naldany's room to collect Aramis. Nikkii didn't bother to knock as she barged into the room and took Aramis from his crib. He immediatly started to cry when Nikkii started to walk out of the room. Naldany got up and ran out behind her wanting Aramis in her arms. They went outside the church where the children had started to gather infront. They greeted them with the greeting of tradition. Nikkii introduced Kalysta and place Aramis in the group of children. Nikkii showed her how the ritual went and after it was over they sent the children away. Naldany picked up Aramis and they went to the caster's guild.

Phelan walked into the church courtyard and stared at the building. Some may have called it beautiful and if Phelan hadnt' lived there and known that it was now the house of Lady Nikkii O'seth it may have been, but for Phelan it was a pillar of oppression. It's pall, cast Phelan's heart into depression. He felt like a caged animal being forced back into it's cage as he walked through its doors.
Phelan entered his room with a smile, looking forward to seeing his wife and his child. The room was empty and there was no note. Phelan shurgged and went looking about the church, Naldany wouldnt' have left without telling him where she was taking Aramis. Phelan began getting more and more concerned as the number of rooms he hadn't search dwindled. He tried to stop a few of the acolytes, but they just ignored him. Phelans anger grew as he stalked back to his room.

One child tugged on Phelan and whispered that Lady Nikkii had a baby in her arms and two other women was with her and they was heading to the caster's guild.
Nikkii, Naldany, and Kalysta stopped infront of the guild and was waiting to be seen by the archmage.

Phelan walked into the room and the door shudered against its frame as he slammed it shut. He sat on the end of the bed and tried to calm himself. It didnt' work, he quivered and drew in quick breaths but his anger just kept mounting. He knew Nikkii would do this behind his back, Phelan stalked out of the church heading for the casters guild.

Adaun strode into the courtyard as Phelan was stalking out of the church doors. She rushed to him.
"What is wrong?" She asked keeping pace with him.
"Nikkii...as usual... I am sorry for dragging you into any of this. Go home I just want to know what is being done with Aramis." Phelan said as he kept his brisk pace, his hands falling to the hilts of his swords.
"I will not go home...he is my nephew and I want to make sure he is ok also." Adaun said, suprising herself at her words. She didnt' realize that she cared for the little slobbering thing.
"Fine....but dont' say I didnt' warn you." Phelan said.
They entered the courtyard of the guild a short time later. They walked up toward the doors in silence and burst inside.

Aramis cried out as the archmage tested him then Aramis's eye burned red as he filled the room with bolts of magic. The women took cover as the archmage was tossed to the back against the wall. He began crying again. Naldany cuddled him as Nikkii smiled, the archmage stood up and brushed himself and walked over to the child. He placed a dagger on the table and looked at Nikkii.
" This child is powerfull... too powerful. Lady.... this child if allowed to live one of two things can happen. He will rule our people, he takes power from any he comes near to and increases his own. Already he is more powerful than either of us. Which brings me to the second option, you control him and he becomes a weapon for your house."
Nikkii smiled but before she could respond to the archmage Phelan entered the room uncertain of what he herd.

Phelan's blue eyes glared at Nikkii as he entered the room. Adaun followed behind him. Phelan looked from Nikkii to Naldany and then back to Nikkii.
"Trying to do this behind my back?" Phelan said to Nikkii with a dangerous tone to his voice. Phelan looked to the Archmage.
"If you try to destroy my son, you will have to face me right now." Phelan said unsheathing his swords far enough to bare the cold glistening metal. Adaun reached for her sword at the same time.

The silent master quietly listened outside the window. "The master will not want Phelan and Adaun harmed. I hope this does not turn ugly" he thought to himself.
He silently readied himself for combat. He was not wanting to jump into the middle of this battle.

" Relax Phelan put those away, I was have his potential measured. And is exceeded my expected... your son its would seem is more powerful than me. And with time an my teaching he will help this house tremendously."
The archmage backed behind Nikkii as Naldany still struggled to calm Aramis down. She walked with him about the room as the Archmage spoke.
" I believe it was in the spell used to go him so fast. I wasn't able to fully tap his power, but I'd surgest a supressing him with a charm."

Phelan reluctantly let go of the hilts of his swords and walked over to Naldany and held her close. He whispered in her ear.
"Why did you not tell me where you were going? I leave on a task and you slip out with your Aunt and Aramis?"
