The O'seths

[adaun]

Adaun could not find cover, she threw her left arm up to block the few that rushed at her head. She felt the hard thud as two of them sank in through the tough metal of the armor. Her stomach lurched and her vision darkened. She drew her sword and head toward Lady Nikkii as the second flurry came in. Adaun didnt' flinch as 5 more arrows bounced off her armor.

[Phelan]

Phelan rushed forward silent as death, his swords were moving before he was in striking range. Phelan watched in horror as one volley of arrows launched into the air and then a second. He rushed ahead with abandon, somehow his feet always landed on the softest ground and not a sound was made. At the last moment he threw himself into a spiraling jump twisting through the air with his swords gouging into the rear of the line. The amount of creatures was massive, but Phelan didnt' think about the odds of survival they were attacking Kalysta.

The line of enemies broke in confusion as Phelan hacked away, fighting with a fierceness that most could only dream of. His swords flashing in the moonlight he slowly moved forward through the throng. The smell of blood filled Phelans nostrils and was begining to run freely upon the ground.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Nikkii saw what was happening and pushed Kaylsta behind her and waited for Adaun to get closer to her. Keyra dropped her invisablilty and started attacking the mass of enemies. She went slash after slash into the think of them. Loveless took his time making his attacks. They looked horribly outnumbered and some continued their attack with the bows clearly Kalysta and Nikkii was the targets. Several of the trolls formed a line to block Phelan from getting to them while Keyra was started to get pinned for herself. Loveless made his way towards Phelan and stood behind him.

" We must move quickly they are futher dividing us."

[adaun]

Adaun rushed up infront of Lady Nikkii and Kalysta, she stood in the line of fire so that they woudl have to fell her first. An archer loosed and arrow thinking Adaun to be easy prey, Adaun closed her eyes and focused. Her arm didnt want to move and burned with pain, but she wouldn't relent she would defend these two to her death. The sword moved in a blur and shattered the arrow as it plunged toward her. Adaun smiled a wicked smile as she opened her eyes and look at the archer. She took the time to break the arrows off that portruded from her arm while the archers gawked in amazement.

[Phelan]

Phelan knew that there was no way he could take on all of the trolls, not by himself. He knew that he had the advantage when it came to being agile. Phelan weaved about their legs as they tried landing blows upon him.

The trolls tried with all their might to catch them but Phelan just kept eluding them. He even got a few of them to hit others and now they were fighting also. He took that opportunity to slip through thier screen and head for the more immediate threat of the archers.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Nikkii healed Aduan quickly before the next volley of arrows hit around them. " I can't believe the mass of them ... He must be getting desperate. Aduan do not worry about me take care of this on and I will see about helping your brother."

Nikkii buffed herself and moved into the archers sight. He smiled as he and Nikkii stared eachother down and readied another arrow. Keyra was fighting five of them and holding her own the stinging of their blades was taking their toll slowly, as desperation set in she turned into her werewolf form. The men started to back away but Keyra jumped on them as they started to flee. She began chasing them slashing them across the back trails of crimson flew into the air. Loveless smiled as he saw Keyra losing control.

" Go my little hunter let it all go."

[Phelan]

Phelan plunged on through the fray, his swords moved with a fluid grace. Phelan moved the swords as though they were and extension of himself. Phelan slashed through the archers, it was too late for those near Phelan they were dead before they knew he was there. Phelan saw Loveless and what he assumed was Kerya all in the fray, he figured if they could all meet somewhere in the middle they would foil their enemies plans by carving out a pocket and putting thier backs together. Phelan nodded to himself and picked the best line possible to Loveless.

[adaun]

Adaun nodded to Nikkii and stayed near Kalysta. She didnt' know how Kalysta felt about her, but she hoped that she would accept her help.
"I will stay right near you, if you wish to fight or I will defend your position here. " Adaun said.

"I can fight, I don't need any protection, but it is appreciated. " Kalysta said with a smile. She stepped out and moved with Adaun toward the line that seemed to be turning frantic. Kalysta waved her arms about her and a putrid cloud fell in around the trolls, their skin blistered and split. Kalysta smiled at Adaun who was gaping at her.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Loveless smiled and moved back towards Phelan. Keyra barreled through the mecenaries, her claws and mouth soaked in blood. Nikkii joined up with them after dispatching the archer. Her arm was bleeding a bit from his arrow. She took a look at the remaining men.

" Ten left, how are you holding up?"

" I'm so thrilled that you are concerned for my health Nikkii."

" I am only asking you because you are taking the attention from me at the moment.. But nephew I was asking you."

Nikkii threw a sharp glance at Keyra how was ripping one of the Tier'dal to pieces.

[Phelan]

"I am ok..." Phelan lied, his head was spinning and he wasnt sure if he had been hit or not. "is...Ka...er...everyone ok?" Phelan asked blushing a bit at his slip up. He stomach lurched and he swayed, but remained standing. He shook his head.

[adaun]

Adaun and Kalysta came running up to the group shortly after they had all assembled. Kalysta was casting spells and hitting the few that dared come forward anymore.

"is everyone accounted for? " Adaun said as she came walking up.

[Nikkii O'seth]

The mecenacenaries withdrew from the area. Nikkii gentley turned Phelan around and looked him over. " You should try to lie to me. Loveless help Phelan stay on his feet. We will not be stopping till we are at the churches door."

Loveless put Phelan's arm over his shoulder and Nikkii healed him. Keyra took the form of a dark elf again and lead them out of the castle. Nikkii Adaun and Kalysta stayed infront of the two men. The sun started to rise and they could see volcanoes of Neriak in the distance.

" Phelan I can't promise that things will be any easier inside... I might have to harm Naldany and Darlena if they are under my father's influence."

" I will see that they are stopped quickly my lady." Keyra said quickly smiling at Phelan.

" Keyra you make sure that you stay within your bounds."

[Phelan]

"Aunt, with all due respect, I really think that you should send Keyra away, she is nothing but a blood thirsty animal, she has always been that. I swear if she touches Naldany or Kalysta I will kill her.... and I understand if 'you' have to harm them, I had to harm you to save you also. I dont know if I will be able to deliver a blow against either of them though.." Phelan glared as he spoke about Keyra and the progressively got quieter as went on, finally trailing off and hanging his head. His body still ached though he had been healed and he was glad that Loveless was helping him stay standing.

[Keyra]

A look of worry and hatred came over Keyra as she glanced to Nikkii then back to Phelan. Nikkii stopped for a moment and looked at the two.

" Phelan ..... I understand your concern but I don't believe we cannot just dismiss an ally right now.... if the time comes I will evaluate it and make a decision."


" Lady Nikkii please don't send me away... Your all I have... don't leave me again."

Loveless coughed while Keyra made her point to Nikkii but she did not reaspond. Keyra looked back at Phelan and Loveless and smiled. She bolted back beside them and moved Loveless out of the way and was now holding Phelan up. He tried to jerk away from her but she used her free hand to brace him. She lead him towards her.

" If you continue to try and get rid of me I'll kill you when ths is over with."

[Phelan]

"Keyra if you do not let go of me, you will regret it.... If you touch my wife or Kalysta you will die, weather or not I survive will be of little consequence. " Phelan said in a dead serious tone.
