The captain noticed what was going on between Phelan and Wilkens. Thinking that She would sound an alarm he quickly grabbed the halflings and left leaving Phelan and his partner behind.
" Good I will tell Naldany of his demise."
Naldany finally made it to the post where Phelan was. The guards told her what went on. Naldany casted an invisiblity spell on herself and ran toward bobble.

" Wilkens... it isn't like that. Give me a minute to explain. " Phelan said sheathing his swords.
" Look I made a deal, so that Kal would be spared and all of you... I had to marry someone.... Dars cousin.... I think... Look tell Kal that I love her, but you all have to run right now, till you can come get me safely from here... and don't hurt Naldany, she is just a bit young, she has a good heart I think... Now strike me and I will hobble off back to neriak and tell them I slayed you but then the guards arrived, so I had to leave the halflings. Up to you its your move Wilks, I dont' want to take these halflings nor do I want to fight you and won't. But I wont' break my deal with Nikkii, Kal is too important, even if that means I can't be with her. "
Phelan says as he spreads his arms our wide showing that he meant no hostility.

she will not be able to face kal any time soon, not with what she knows.

Seeing Wilkens brought great pain to him, it reminded him of Kal and how much he missed her. He missed all of his friends. He really didn't like neriak but he had little choice. He wouldnt' jeprodize his friends for his comfort... He watched her go with guilt in his eyes. He didnt mean to hurt her, she didnt' trust him anymore and that hurt Phelan a great deal.
He shealthed his swords and drug the halflings to the middle of the path and left back for neriak with his split chain mail and blood seeping out of his fresh wound. A fitting payment for my grieveous actioins, he thought to himself. He began the walk back to neriak hoping not to pass out. If he was lucky he would just fall down and die instead of having to live with the mess he called his life.
Phelans head spun and he became dizzy. Great he thought as he stumbled to the ground.

Naldany could see the halfling town of bobble but didn't see any signs of Phelan or for that matter any teir'dal. She wandered around it a bit before she stumbled onto Phelan. He was bleeding an looked like he was left for dead. She quickly chanted a spell and once again they was teleported back to Neriak infront of the church.
" Quickly find a healer... He has been injured."
" Yes lady...."
The guards rushed to find a priest, after a few minutes they brought back a priestest and she healed Phelan. One guard picked up Phelan and took him to Naldany's chambers. Naldany went to find the captain of the gaurd.

Naldany stormed through Neriak in search of the gaurd captian. She asked several guards where he might be, at first none would say but finally gave in when they could see her anger building. They told her he took a halfling to the lodge of the dead then went to have a few ales at the tavern. Naldany did't have much fighting experiance but it didn't matter to her she would strike him with her strongest spell. That should bring him down.She thought. She found the tavern he was to be at and went inside. There he was sitting with some off his closest guardsmen. Naldany chanted her spell aim it straight at him. One of his men saw what was about to happen and leaped infront of him exploding from it.
" Detain her in her chambers men ."
They gaurds grab her and carry her back to her room and toss her in then grab Phelan and bring him outside of it.

Phelan, still groggy from healing, doesnt' understand what is going on. The guards release him outside the room and take up posts outside the door. Phelan didn't understand.
" What is the meaning of this? I am not allowed to see my wife? " Phelan said to the guards.
" She is under house arrest and is to be alone, that is all I know. " the guard responded.
Phelan walked out the front of the building. He knew that there was a window to her room, it was a ways off the ground but he knew he could get her out. He couldnt' let her suffer for saving him.
In short time he found the right one, and pulled the heavy grate free. He hung upside down in the hole, holding on with his bent legs. He looked to the ground below him, it was about 25 feet to the floor, no wonder then hadnt' worried about the window. He saw Naldany, she was laying on the bed.
" You gonna lay around there all day or are your going to come spend you wedding night with your husband? " Phelan asked with a smile.

" With you of coarse." Naldany hopped up and kissed Phelan." I tried to kill the captain but his men stopped me."
She guides Phelan back to the bed..
" Well it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere for the moment."

Phelan smiles and puts his hand on her shoulder.
" Maybe we should leave here for a bit? I know a great spot where we could go" Phelan said as he began tying the sheets together. Then he ties one end around his sheaths and sword belt and tested its wieght and his knots. Good enough he thought. He looked to Naldany to see what she wanted to do.
" we can stay, but what do you think will happen when they come back? " Phelan said.

" Nothing more once grandfather hears about this ... but where would we go? I rarely leave Neriak and I'm not the greatest in combat. But I think the captain is trying to use me to gain political power here."
Naldany looks out the window then back to Phelan. She opens a trunk and takes out three swords she put two swords on the bed and one in a sheath on her sash.
" This could be fun lets go.. those swords are for you they're enchanted blades."

Phelan swings the sheets and sends them flying out the window, he tugs to make sure it is secure and turns to Naldany.
" Hang on to my back and I will climb up" Phelan said.
Naldany did so and also carried the stuff she had layed out on the bed. Phelan made quick work of the climb though he was still tired from being healed. He quickly led them throught the alleys and out of Neriak.

Phelan simply smiled at her and they went deeper into kithicor forest.
Back in Neriak the captain finished his ale and wanted to see Phelan suffer as he couldn't be with his new wife.

Phelan was headed for a very familar cave, one that he had spent time with Gaien and Kal in. Kal.... someday love. He lamented silently. For now his life had changed, not for the worse merely just changed. Naldany wasn't the person he thought she was going to be.
Through the waining sunlight they travelled and reached the cave. Phelan quickly made a fire in the mouth of the cave. He then spread the sheet, that Naldany had wrapped the stuff she was carrying in, out and guided Naldany to it. He looked at her and smiled. This is where he belonged not in a city, the woods, on the road, large crowds werent' for him.
" I hope this will suit you for tonight, I know it isn't your bed nor your home and that you may not be used to being in the woods, but there is a beauty here that you compliment so well.
The moon reaches its beams down to your face to caress your beautiful features and we sleep beneath a blanket of stars. That is if we sleep. " He smiled his boyish smile and began rubbing her back as he gazed out at the sky.

Naldany leaned back against Phelan and guided his arms around her. She kissed him on the cheek and smiled.
" I think I can manage out here so long as I have you my husband ...my love... although you right we might not get much sleep."
Her and Phelan layed down beside eachother and wrap themselves in the blanket.

When Phelan awoke, it was early afternoon. He cursed himself, he hadn't meant to sleep this long. He was suprised to find Naldany still firmly in his arms clinging to him as if there were no tomorrow. She slept peacefully and Phelan didnt wish to wake her. He merely lay there looking upon her face smiling. She was astoudingly beautiful. Her soft skin and her soft lips made Phelan want to kiss her and caress her.
What are we to do? he thought. Are we heading back to Neriak? What kind of penalty will she face? Will I face? I helped her escape, surely by now, they will know she is gone. I doubt that they would look for her out here, she doesn't seem to be the outdoorsy type. I will defend her to the end, she will not suffer for my actions. I need to talk to her about not being part of the guard, when she awakens. I cant' attack halflings, I won't be able to live with myself if I have to. I almost did today.... Phelan thought, running his hand over the scar on his chest. I must not let myself become like my kin, I am not like them. He thought as he watched the sun start its slow decent from its high vantage point.
