The O'seths

[adaun]

Adaun made short work of the man in front of her as he turned his head toward Phelan, the mans head still held the same heartbroken look as it fell to the ground free of his body. Phelan darted ahead injuring a few more as he did, Adaun followed through on the attack as he passed by.

Adaun got caught up with the last one Phelan had blinded by though, he hadn't injured the man enough and he was bearing down on her. She blocked fiercely while delivering a devastating kick to the mans knee, she felt the bone and sinew give as her steel boot pressed its wieght through the joint. The man scream as his leg buckled beneath him, Adaun ended his scream permanantly as her blade plunged into his mouth and down his throat.

Adaun rushed forward with abandon cutting away at all who stood in between her and her brother. Things became a blur as blood flew and metal rang. Adaun moved by instinct hoping she could match her brothers skill. She felt the stinging bites as swords ripped into her soft supple flesh beneath the cold armor, she moved on knowing that this was a temporary pain.

[Nikkii O'seth]

The wizardress pressed her attack on Nikkii as she healed herself. Kalysta casted a plauge spell on the wizard as her pet held him fast, his face became a sickly shade of green before his flesh melted off. Nikkii had finally had enough of the abuse from the wizardress and threw he mace hitted the woman in the head. Nikkii healed herself once more then healed Adaun but Phelan was too far for her. She gathered her strength and rose to her feet but was winded severely but the amount of mana she used healing.

[Phelan]

Phelan heard his sisters press, he leaped forward felling the two men infront of him quickly. Phelan then changed direction and bolted back toward Adaun cutting down those who opposed her. Adaun darted ahead and Phelan stepped behind her putting thier backs together.

Phelan and Adaun would strike out and then rush back toward the others opponet and strike them. The O'seth guards soon broke formation and began to flee.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Nikkii fell back to her knees when they began to withdraw. Kalysta's pet came over and helped Nikkii stand back up and they walked to meet up with Phelan and Adaun. Kaysta made it closer to them first as Nikkii slowly followed still winded from her healing.

" Very good Phelan my nephew..... and you Aduan ..... did good as well. "

Nikkii sat down on a log to catch her breath a bit before speaking again. Sweat dripping from her forehead

" We should find a place to rest .... I'm sure more will follow and in greater number as we near Neriak."

[Phelan]

"Very well Aunt, you lead we will follow, you know this place better than most I would think. " Phelan said with his boyish smile showing even though it was marred by some sweat dripping down his face and blood coming from his lip.
Adaun looked a bit hesistant as she looked to Lady Nikkii. Things had changed so fast but she hadnt' had time to deal with it all. She took her feelings and set them aside until she had time to sort them all out.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Nikkii nodded and pulled her hair back into a ponytail and rose up off the log. She started of slow at first but within half an hour she was moving at a very fast pace. An old castle became visable as they went through a densely fogged area of seraik.

" We will take up lodging here tonight... its out of the way for teir'dal guards of any house we just will have to clear an area for us to take refuge."

Nikkii looked back to Adaun and Phelan and smiled.

[Phelan]

" What do you mean clear and area? " Phelan said his smile fading from his face. He was exhausted and was hoping for a bit of rest. Phelan slid his hands unconciously down to the hilts of his swords, his eyes starting darting about assesing the terrian and looking for the best place to defend.

[Keyra]

Loveless cuaght a familiar scent in the air as he held Keyra pinned to the ground.

" Ahhh ... there she is lets go meet your old master. Shes nearby."

Loveless reverted back to his normal self and cloaked himself in shadows, then took off into the woods. Keyra did the same and followed him. Soon they was nearing a castle and four other teir' dal stood infront of it. One was Lady Nikkii herself.

[Nikkii O'seth]

" What I mean is just that nephew.... destroy a few undead and I will ward the area ..... We all are tired but we need the protection."

Nikkii placed her hand on her should then frowned suddenly.

" We got more problems... Lycanthropes are near."

Then a voice that chilled Phelan to the core was herd.

"Lady Nikkii....."

[Phelan]

That voice....Phelan tensed his muscles trying to restrain himself, but he couldnt'. He vowed her dead and he would see Keyra's corpse fall this day. He rushed forward toward the voice in a blur swords drawn and spinning as he advanced. Everything else was a blur but he focused in on her, that wretched twisted elf far worse than any Tier dal.

[Nikkii O'seth]

Keyra appeared just infront of him and barely drew her shortsword and rapier. She blocked is first attack and countered with a barrage of her own. Loveless made his appearance and leaded up against a tree and started laughing at the two fight. Nikkii was beside herself at this and stood there watching the fight. Kalysta filled with anger as she noticed Phelan was starting to wear out and Keyra didn't seem to be worn in the least. Phelan would get a hit in but it was healing just as fast, Keyra landed a hard kick to Phelan's midsection but Aduan and Kalysta quickly leaped into the fight. Keyra smiled as she seen Kalysta comming closer, She threw a dagger at her but Kalysta avoided it. Once she was close enough she jumped on Keyra and the two started rolling around on the ground in a struggle. Adaun saw this and ran in sword drawn and was going to impale Keyra with it. Keyra saw this and used all her strength to send Kalysta into the air behind her. She landed a punch straight to Adaun's face staggering her, but with her attention diverted Phelan got right up behind her and got a horizontal slash in across Keyra's back. Before he could enjoy his success Loveless joined into the fray tackling him. Nikkii had enough of this by now as she rooted them all in their place.

"ENOUGH... WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS NOW... KEYRA, PHELAN, ADAUN...... STOP. If you are so ready to fight do so by destroying some of these wretched undead... then you may settle this afterward but I have not the patients for this now."

Keyra looked back at Phelan and Loveless as they shoved off eachother, Kalysta brushed herself off and Adaun massaged her jaw. Phelan walked in and started destroying undead. Loveless joined in followed by Adaun. After a half hour later they had a sufficient area cleared and Nikkii place a ward around it. Phelan and Loveless went to gather wood for the fire.

" Now Keyra you have alot of explaining to do young woman starting with how are you a lycan."

" My'lady Loveless did this to me.... I didn't want this to happen. I...."

" I think it serves you justice now you truely are a monster." Kalysta said with a dark tone. Phelan and Loveless came walking out of the shadows Phelan still looked angrily at Keyra.

[Darlena O'seth]

The Denouncer smirked as the man made his point to the counsil. He was taken by some of the iedas hebrought up but until his own affairs was in order and would like to hear this from the master of the house himself. He looked back at Darlena then thought of something. The man then suddenly excused himself which was by no means allowed untill the counsil has concluded.

" Naldany.... follow that man, he seems to have a seperate ajenda he wishes we would follow. I want to know what it is."

Darlena nodded and left his side and tailed the man back to the house of Fenn'dal. As she got closer she cloacked herself in shadows and took care that her high heels didn't make too much noise. The scent of her perfume would however give her away if she stood too close. She watched to rwo men dine and listened to their conversation. After it was over she left out behind Thengar but might have alerted yhe house master as she walked directly infront of him. She waited till she was far enough from the house gaurd the became visable again. Her job was done and only needed to check in with what she witnessed.

The denouncer was already back at the church. He checked in and his other granddaughter, who was in great discomfort as the baby grew faster within her, she was by the look half-way though the pregnancy.

[Phelan]

Phelan had regained his composure and being out collecting firewood with Loveless had been a calming experience. Phelan had no issues with Loveless, Loveless actually was quite pleasant, though they hadn't spoken, Phelan got the impression he was right. Phelan was walking up just as Kalysta hurled the insult at Keyra.

"She has always been a monster and probably always will be." Phelan said as he began stacking the wood getting it ready to be lit.

[Keyra]

" You dare insult me? I can't believe you still draw breath... I don't know how you lived though that poison but I doubt you'll survive a second dose of it. Atleast I'm not hiding behind a weak man."


" I stand on my own and alone. You are just a stupid child."

Keyra drew out her rapier and pointed it towards Kalysta. She unsheathed her dagger and pointed it back towards Keyra. The two women exchanged more hostile words before Nikkii interupted.

" Keyra why don't you and Phelan take the first watch. Kalysta would you take the second with Loveless. I will have the final watch. I don't want you girls hurting eachother..... We require all the help we can muster."

" Yes Nikkii I agree.. but why won't you deal with this lycanthrope here." Kaylsta said looking at Keyra. Loveless showed a bit of worry at the surgestion of killing them. Nikkii looked out into the castle cemetary and sighed.

" Personal conflict has made me retire for the time being ..... Now if you both would assit them in getting a fire started I will check the wards once more before bedding for the night now I trust I won't come back to see you kids fighting again."

Nikkii walked away, leaving Keyra standing beside Kalysta, Loveless and Phelan looking on.

" Well I better fit in better....." Keyra casted a spell on herself giving her the aperance of a teir'dal. Kalysta's rage started to peak as that was the form she used to attack her with. Phelan could see that this might get ugly again soon if Nikkii stayed away too long.

[Darlena O'seth]

As the denouncer left the room, Darlena was there to greet him in the hallway. She relayed to him what she had seen and herd. As she spoke he noticed that she was missing the light veil scarf from her dress.

" My grandchild it seems you have been a bit careless... Go back and get your scarf and bring me some of his notes from his chambers and do so before it can be linked back to us. He ran his hand through her red hair before she bowed silently to him and departed. So beautiful and deadly at the same time....... "

Darlena made her way from the church as quickly as she could and slipped past the house guards as she done before. She searched the area but could not find her scarf, She found the house master's chambers and entered the room. Once she was in the wards took effect and the room was sealed. Darlena didn't notice this at first till after she found some of his notes and tried to leave. She became visable apon bumping into the ward. She tried several methods attempting to get out but only caught the attention of a shadowed figure who smirked at the catch.
