Phelan was startled to hear his name, he turned to respond thinking it was Darlena, wondering how she found him. Then he froze as he saw that it was Lady Nikkii. He slowly rose from the chair moved half the distance to her and drew his swords.
" Haven't you done enough already? You come here to finish her off while she sleeps? " Phelan said anger seething in his voice.
"You will have to go through me to get to her. " Phelan said quietly and leveled his swords at her.

Darlena stepped away from Elindar once the song finished realising her coin purse was missing. she looked about the tavern briefly then decided to look about outside Elindar offered to help but Darlena assured him she would be fine. As she looked around she noticed Wilkens Drinking what appeared to be her sixth ale. Darlena shook her head as she headed outside. She had no luck with Finding her purse so she sat on a rock overlooking the entrance of the gnomish city. She was finally at peace at last.

" You wish to battle me ... honey your not even a challenge to me but if this is what you truely wish... I will amuse myself with you."
Nikkii chants her armor and strenght buff creating a wonderous show of lights. She draws out her mace of repentances and smiles at Phelan.
" Well will you start us off."
" Gladly..."
Phelan comes at arcing his sword toward Nikkii as she easliy avoids his attack. With a few muttered words from her a burning mark appeared on his chest.
Phelan ignored the pain and lunged at Nikkii. This time Nikkii shed her robe Revealing her shiny black armor. This time Phelans blade struck her. To his surprise no damage was done to her but he was in more pain. Nikkii walked up to him and swung her mace at him, sending him to the floor and swords from his hands. The Gnomes herd the noise comming from the room and rushed to it. Before he could get up Nikkii put her root spell on him just as they came inside.
" Was going on in here you better not be fighting."
" No .... my friend here got up too fast and fell you may leave us now."
" Ahh yes sitting for such a long time can make the legs go weak... G'day to ye. The gnomes depart leaving Nikkii to Phelan.
" Now what did that achieve? ...I have a new offer.. that is unless your ready to tell me where the lycanthrope is in this city."

Phelan glowers at Nikkii, a deal? but what can I do? Listen I guess...though I dont' want to. Phelan thinks to himself. Phelan sheaths his swords and rubs his arms.
" What deal? I will never give up Darlena, nor will I stand idly by as you slaughter my friends. " Phelan said with a defeated tone in his voice.

" Your friends I could care less about.. its the lycanth... er Darlena I want and my new deal is a simple matter."
"Go on..." Phelan said defeatedly
" I have a niece I would like you to meet .. I will send for her to come here... You will show her your best behavior or...."
Nikkii moves beside kalysta and strokes her hair.
" She means alot to you doesn't she?"

Phelan tensed as she touched Kal. He knew that she would make good on her threats.
" You must know I won't give you Darlena, no deal if she is hurt or harmed... all of my friends unharmed or no deal. " Phelan said.
Anything so that she and the others will be ok. I can suffer through anything as long as they are alright. Phelan thought.

Nikkii didn't like what she was hearing how dare he make an ultimatum to me. Nikkii clenched a lock of her hair then lets go.
" I will tell you Shalndra is with me right now and is looking for them as we speak... now if you agree to see my niece I might consider calling her off but your time is limited so answer correctly."
Nikkii smiled as she thought everything was in her advantage once again.

Phelan hung his head in defeat. Sorry everyone, he lamented silently in his head. He looked up at Nikkii with tears in his eyes.
"What ever you want me to do. " Phelan said in a whisper.

" Great... allow me but a moment to see the deeds are done."
Nikkii steps out of the room breifly and makes contact with Shalandra then to her neice. After a few moments she step back into the room a smile of victory on her face.
" You have good forture Phelan.. she was on her way here to pick up a few things and would be here within the hour... her name is Naldany ..and if you don't make her happy our little agreement is off."

Phelan sighed.
" I understand.... One hour... where am I to meet her? "
Phelan wanted nothing more than to spit in her face and tell her to go to the abyss. He didnt' have a choice though, he had to do what was best for his friends. He wondered what she meant by making her happy

Nikkii leaves the building and heads to where she left Shalandra. Unknown to her Loveless and Darlena where in the city. But loveless would yet to have another encounter with this dangerous Priestest.

Darlena was enjoying the night's sky the falling fireballs from the volcano in the distance reminded her of her Neriak and the trips they would make from Seriak. Noble had come out and sat beside her.
" Lady ..... Don't worry about the money Elindar is arranging rooms for us all for the night."
" That would be great ... I hate sleeping outside." Darlena said with a smile.
They sat outside watching the stars and fireballs and awaited word from Elindar on the rooms.

Phelan stood and turned back to Kalysta. He leaned over and kissed her.
" Forgive me my love. I do what I must so that you may live and be happy. " He whispered in her ear.
Phelan turned and left without looking back. His friends were safe for now. He headed to the city's entrance, it took him almost the full hour to arrive there, he still couldnt' navigate the maze of a city very well. He stood near the coachman awaiting this niece of Lady Nikkii's he hoped that none of his friends saw him. He stood watching the fireballs as they streaked through the night.

The time passed by so quickly as Darlena and Noble watched the sky. One thing had caught her eye as she saw Phelan come out. He didn't look happy as he had before. Noble started to get up and go speak with him when Darlena grabbed her arm and made her sit back down. They watched as Phelan made his way over to the coachmans stables. It looked like he was awaiting something. Suddenly a horse arrived with yet another familiar person ... just grown up.
" Naldany ... what is she doing here?" Darlena asked
" Well lets watch and see where she goes."
She stops her horse beside Phelan.
" You must be Phelan.. I am Naldany O'seth.. from the house of O'seth."
She helped herself off the horse and adjusted her robe that looked like it was altered quite a bit.

Nobel pushed her large glasses further up her nose, looking at the beautiful dark elf wizardress. She knew she could never pull off wearing a robe like that... assuming that was a robe.
The gnome tugged on Darlena's arm, suddenly feeling nervous about the situation. "Shall we go see Pfirble and his clockworks, my Lady? I imagine Master Elindar will have our rooms ready as well."
