Me get da vision for your totem, Slyfoot. Me ask da bard Ellindar to put into word for me, he much bedder wit dat and dis one get a bit tuff to talk about.
“Happy to oblige, Rhabuka! As long as you don’t make me try any more of that… um… lovely snake scale soup.
Slyfoot, your travels across Tunaria sound almost bardic. I understand that you have a heavy heart, and that you are wondering why you are feeling emotions uncommon among your Tier Dal brethren.
The spirits have told Rhabuka that yours is the Totem of the Wisp. Let me try to explain her translation of what that means.
The Wisp represents Deception. It is a creature that appears quite small and innocuous but is actually much stronger than it seems. Many travelers who have encountered one in the wilds have paid for their preconceived notions of “What could that little thing possibly do to me?” with their lives.
This totem fits your calling as an enchanter as well, since you use different guises to suit your purposes. You have the ability to travel everywhere in these lands and be welcomed as a friend, even among those who might never stand beside you otherwise.
As for what this could mean in relation to your feelings of late, neither Rhabuka nor I can be completely certain. You have been raised in the ways of the dark elves and yet now you seem to question those beliefs. Perhaps you are deceiving yourself about your own true nature?
Safe travels to you, young Slyfoot! May you find the answers you seek.”
~Ellindar of Tethelin

The wisp huh? Deception? Hmmm.....maybe I am decieveing myself. Maybe, even though I thought I was supposed to be a dark hearted, blood thirsty killer, I am really nothing of the sort. Well, at least I have something to go off of now, my circular jungle is a little more square now methinks. Thank you Rhabuka, you have done much for me with nothing in return.

"OK, Lady Rhabuka. What animal totem does your abilities of divination claim to represent me?"

Kyrinn, da spirits tell me interesting tale of your totem. Methinks it does fit you gud. Again, me ask Ellindar to translate for me, he like have some stuff to do:
“Ah Kyrinn, I have enjoyed hearing of your exploits in the Tavern! I do hope an opportunity to fight alongside you will arise one day. But I digress, that is not my true purpose here.
The spirits have told Rhabuka that your decision to strike out on your own was a good one. Those who had claimed to be your allies and made promises of future triumphs had other motives in mind. They planned to use you as a stepping stone… that is until their own plans came crashing down around them.
Kyrinn, yours is the Totem of the Jaguar, meaning Independence. You have the wherewithal to survive and hunt on your own, and others may be wary of you because of this.
Beware of people around you who see your power and seek to profit from it. You have fallen victim to these sorts in the past, and they will continue to plague you in the seasons to come. You will make few friends in your lifetime, so you must always trust in your inner strength.
Safe travels to you, Kyrinn, and may those dark roads lead to greater glory!

Me not sure wut me eat yesserday (maybes dem frog legs from Slyfoot) but boy me have da big dreams last nite. Da spirits just not leaf me alone! So today me go walk to da Tavern and lucky to find dat elf Ellindar dere. Methinks dat guy never leaf da Tavern but who me be to say dat be bad or not. He be drinkin elf wine and chat wit a group of gurls. Hmmm, dat anudder one, always lotsa gurls be follow him. Anyway, so me walk in and sit next to Ellindar, swat gurls aside, and me tell him dese new visions. Okies Ellindar, yous turn.
(calling over his shoulder) “All right, so I will see you all later just outside of Freeport? Excellent! I promise to regale you all with my latest ballad. I have dedicated it to you, Lytencia.” A giggling sound is heard. “Very well then, off with you! I will be there as soon as I can.”
(Ellindar turns back to look at a glaring Rhabuka, and grins nervously)
“So so, these visions were most fascinating Rhabuka! I am most honored to share them with everyone. Yes yes, most honored!
I understand you have been in contact with the great wizard, Jwiz. You had a bit of trouble gaining a clear picture of his totem, so you asked him to slay a certain creature. He did so, but alas, the poison of the beast injured him gravely after he had put his blade through its throat. Fortunately, Jwiz is a strong fellow and he was able to recover from this bite wound. We elves have a remarkable constitution, after all. (more grinning) And then last night, you say, the vision finally came clear.
Jwiz, yours is the Totem of the Spider. This is the symbol of Stealth. You have an unusual ability in that you just show up in places. I remember a few weeks back, when Zugarok told me how you seemed to materialize out of the air near Runnyeye… twice. This stealth has been quite useful to you as you have come to explore the lands. Granted, all elves have tremendous reflexes and dexterity, but you seem to have more than most.
Rhabuka saw a specific type of spider in her visions, called the Ebony Recluse. It is one you may some day encounter on your travels. I must caution you to be wary if you come across one. It may look like a regular spider but it is anything but. Before you know it, it will be able to run as quickly as you can and see through any concealment spells you may have. This creature uses stealth to its maximum advantage!
So I wish you safe travels, friend elf! I enjoyed telling the tale of your totem, and I hope to cross paths one day.
(Ellindar rises and heads over to the bartender to have his drink refilled, preparing to tell the story of the next totem on Rhabuka’s list – the gnome alchemist, Bubbeltroubl).

Hmmm, somehow dat elf he go and sneek out while me not luk. Me lurn how much yous got to watch dem elfs, dey quik! When me get bak to tavern agin today, he be dere and he say he readee to tell more about da totems. Okies Ellindar, yous talk now.
“Thank you, Rhabuka! Again, I apologize for that slight misunderstanding earlier….”
A brief spell of nervous laughter gripped the handsome bard, then he cleared his throat and continued.
“Last week, you received visions of the totems for your two gnome friends, Bubbeltroubl and Cephius. I understand that you have not seen them for a while, as they have been on a long journey out West with their family. I certainly hope that one of Cephius’ transportation inventions didn’t break down and leave them stranded out there!
You have come to know the two gnomes quite well, having not only met them in your travels but also having fought beside them. That would be a sight to behold – two towering ogres and two little gnomes drawing weapons together! Worthy of a song one day, perhaps…
I find the totems of Cephius and Bubbeltroubl to be quite fascinating, almost as if they represent two sides of a single gold coin. It appeals to the romantic in me, I must admit! I am honored to tell you of your totems.
Dearest Bubbeltroubl, your totem is the Dervish and it symbolizes Unpredictability. These creatures tend to inhabit the colder reaches of Tunaria, so it is doubtful you have crossed paths with one yet. Rhabuka tells me that you are a wielder of many potions, and that you are quite adept at using them on your enemies and causing a great deal of havoc. The poor beasts can never tell what kind of substance will be spilled upon their flesh, until it is too late! However, these potions are quite dangerous and you are always walking a thin line between harming your opponents and harming yourself. You must be on guard for this – there is a good chance you could do some real injury to yourself in the future if you’re not careful.
And Cephius, the great inventor! The Fire Drake is your totem and it represents Control. You have managed the mastery of the elements themselves. You focus your attention and call upon the forces of Fire, Water, Earth and Air to do your bidding. You are said to be a brave fighter in your own right, never afraid to jump into a melee. The fire drakes prefer the hotter regions of Tunaria… I am certain you will come across them one day soon but be wary until you grow a bit stronger. Perhaps this totem is an indication of what element will be your specialty one day, although the choice of what force you will control is one only you can make.
I certainly hope that your journey out West has been a safe one, and that you will make your way back to the Tavern soon. I will trade you a tale for a cold drink, just look for me upon your arrival.
Safe travels to you!
~ Ellindar of Tethelin”
As a druid, and a decendent of the finest pure blood elves of Tethelin, i assure you my lineage (unlike me, who believes Tunaria's only choice is to embrace our differences with open minds) would be horrified to hear me ask this but, which totem do you see for me, Rhabuka? In a past life, i am told by the ones who can see such things, i was a great healer, strong and wise... and yet i question this, for if i had been great, and if i had been wise... why do i again walk the path of the healer, instead of trancending to the next level? You can see my dilemma Rhabuka, and why i need your advice. I've seen much, but this i cannot understand...
